Mike did a thorough inspection gave us recommendations on how to prepare it to burn fires again. He was great and explained everything clearly.

Mike and team are straight shooters. He was upfront about the cost, and very reasonable. He was well aquatinted with our area and the permitting process. His guys showed up on time, and did the work quickly, respectful, and professionally. It was FAST! The work was done, permitted, and finalized with the city in only 5 days. There are a lot of companies out there, and after getting bids form about six companies we went with Burntech and we are glad we did. This is an honest company that does quality work. We were very pleased with our service. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I must say, as I use multiple sub contractors in different areas for my business, my experience with Burntech and Mike the owner were fantastic. This is a real hands on operator that cares. His crew is on time, knows their trade, keeps the areas clean and the client consistently informed. Furthermore, this crew handled this job over the Christmas holiday and worked diligently to finish inspections in order to give us working fireplaces during the break. They dealt with all inspections professionally and timely, as well as, passing each and every one. As an owner, Mike Fletcher, I would gather, has multiple jobs going on, yet he stayed in contact with me at all times and showed up to the job site throughout the whole job to make sure all was done correctly. Lastly, the job came in on time and on budget, which in my experience, is rare and I personally think a great many GC's should take a lesson from this guys book on customer service. Prices are also competitive for a very niche specialty. Highly recommend and my first call for fireplaces and masonry in the future.

Mike was awesome. He was very communicative, and thoroughly inspected the fireplace and chimney of the home we are in escrow on. We appreciated his professionalism and knowledge. He also gave us a solid recommendation for a chimney cleaner. We will use them again if we require their services in the future.

On Monday, 12/21/15, Michael Fletcher, the owner of the company called to explain why they hadn't gotten back to me in response to my original call. He was very professional and wanted to make things right. His daughter had been very ill, and their office had been overwhelmed with calls. We made an appointment for 9 AM on Tuesday, 12/22/15, and Mike, the owner, was there promptly. He was warm, courteous and professional. After investigating the fireplace and flue, he found that the incorrectly sized damper clamp had been installed, preventing the damper from closing correctly and letting cold drafts come down into the room. He replaced the clamp with the correct size, charging a minimum service price. He recommended glass doors for the fireplace in case the new damper clamp still allowed cold drafts to come down through the flue. I would certainly recommend Mr. Fletcher and his company.

The job went as promised. Mike is extremely conscientious and professional. He explained everything well and communicated with me frequently throughout the process.I look forward to working with him again on a masonry project.

We have a 30 year old house and the chimney was clearly leaning and unsafe. Mike and his guys completely saved us from this hazard. This heavy chimney had completely crushed our rafters underneath and was a hazard. They were so fast to completed the new chimney and make our house safe once again. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. We had 4 other companies come out to bid the job to us and Mike was the only one to get back to us. They went over and above our expectations. We are definitely impressed.

Mike was on time for the inspection and consultation. Mike called before he came out to verify the appointment. When he arrived , he was very easy to talk to and very friendly. We explained what we wanted done: remove one side of a dual fireplace which was to large and unsightly located in the living room. Mike inspected the fireplace, explained in detail what was required to be done and why. He was straight forward with what was required , the cost and the issues that needed addressing. He explained the structural issues that would be involved in the removal and code requirements. He presented every thing up front so that there would be no surprises. Mike was very personable , on time and we trusted his opinion. We are waiting for his estimate and are considering having him do the work.

We're very happy with how the work turned out. Mike's extensive knowledge of fireplace code and construction made him a great choice to help us rebuild and repair our old fireplaces. He was easy to reach, aimed to please, and made sure the job was finished in a timely manner.

The project could not have gone better. Mike is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He made good recommendations and we were not disappointed that we took his advice. Once the work started it only took three working days to complete. From estimate to completion the entire process was less than two weeks. It would have been quicker but it took about a week for the materials to arrive. The crew was courteous and professional and always showed up when they said they would. They took great care to keep the mess contained to a small area and protect furniture and surrounding areas. But best of all we are thrilled with the results. The workmanship is excellent and we couldn?t be happier with the results. We would call Mike again for future masonry work and would recommend him to others. We rated price as N/A because we have nothing to compare the price to.

I sent Mike a picture of my fireplace, and asked him if he had any ideas. He immediately came out. After he heard the look I wanted to achieve, he gave me his suggestions. I went with one of his suggestions. After a little over one week, I have an absolutely stunning showpiece of a fireplace. I'm so happy I went with Mike, and highly recommend his work.

Mike Fletcher was great to work with. He made sure the project was completed on the originally proposed time. His crew was professional and very skilled. His crew had good communication skills and would clearly understand my requests or changes to plan. The pricing was fair and better than other quotes I got. Mike did not try to oversell anything, and was very honest. Mike's crew were meticulous to keep the place clean after work was done. Even during the work they made sure dust was contained by creating plastic enclosures and using shopvac while grinding out mortar. Overall my experience was great. I would highly recommend Mike, he and his crew has done above and beyond my expectation.

The job went very well, which is unusual in the world of working with vendors who work on home repairs. I found this company by watching them work on our neighbor's home and after hearing their feedback. Also, the chimney work involved the roof as well. Mike at Burntech coordinated that work with the roofer and believe it or not, everybody worked together seamlessly and the job was completed on schedule and very professionally. Our neighbor also required the same roof work and we both had the same result.

Mike (the owner of Burntech) came out to give me an estimate the same day I called. He was personable and offered the best price I could find. My chimney repair was started promptly, completed as outlined in the contract, and finished in the time frame Mike originally estimated. The staff was careful to protect the work area around my fireplace, and left my living room floor cleaner than they found it. They also repainted the inside of my fireplace and left me a key to turn the gas valve on and off (since mine was lost), neither of which were required in the contract. My chimney was finished in time to enjoy my fireplace on a rare cold day in May.

Mike was great! The job was done start to finish within a couple of weeks, even with stone delivery. Better yet, the job was done while we were on vacation and not even here. We came home to a fabulous family room completed while we were away, and the job was well coordinated with a cabinet guy. The quality is outstanding, especially since the wall has some complexity to it. Would very highly recommend them!

The work done sooner than expected! When does that happen? The job was done in a very professional manner, clean, according to specs. The area was closed off for dust and debris and work are was very neat and tidy. The room was clean and beautiful upon completion of job. Customer and I are very happy with the job Mike Fletcher from Burntech did! Excellent! I will refer Burntech with a 6 star rating! When I contacted the company, on August 30, 2015 Mike Fletcher was courteous and friendly. He showed up on time and discussed my idea of opening up my one sided fireplace. My fireplace opening was facing my living room which we don't spend any time there. I wanted it to face the family room where my family spend all of our time there. I thought it was relatively simple to close one side and open the other. Not so. Mike schooled me on how things worked. He convinced me of replacing the entire fireplace and chimney after I asked that the fireplace be double sided opening. He told me he could have them start right away. We met Friday morning and by Saturday morning his men were at the house at 8 am with jackhammers, compressors and a huge trash bin parked in front of the house. They got to work, spent the entire day at the house taking the old fireplace down. Thank God I wasn't living at home while they were demolishing it. Dust and rubble everywhere. The men we very nice and picked everything up and cleaned after themselves. We hit a wall during the permitting process. It took weeks and weeks for the county to approve plans. Finally after a month the plans were approved.There were several items the county wanted for the foundation to be laid including the use of steel incorporated in the foundation. The men we very respectful during their working hours. Unfortunately, there were a few times where the workers left the house with trash and other debris in the front yard and in the house. I called Mike to report it and he would come by and pick the mess up. There was a particular day when they were laying down the bricks. They needed to cut the bricks but all of the cutting was leaving fine dust everywhere. Even though the cutting was done outside they tracked in the dust and the windows were open. There was fine dust everywhere, they didn't bother to cover furniture. The dark hardwood floors were coated with fine dust as well. Needless to say I was angry, and I called Mike and let him know about the mess. At this time it was toward the end of the project. Here some things I was happy about: 1. The workmanship and the quality of the product. I oversaw the entire process and the work is phenomenal. I love my fireplace and it works like a charm. 2. Its gorgeous and don't regret my decision. 3. After much angst over the cleanliness, Mike did make concession for my inconveniences. He lowered the price on the project and gave me high quality ceramic logs, some embers and a hefty grate for the logs. 4. Mike is courteous, respectful and is flexible. Here are a few things I wasn't happy with: 1. When trying to reach Mike it was difficult especially when we had questions as I had other projects going on at the same time. He doesn't respond in a timely matter or show as noted in #3. 2. The messiness of the project, I understand there is dust to a certain degree but it was infuriating to see trash in front of the home. 3. Mike was not present when the final inspection needed to be done on October 10, 2014. I met with the inspector. I didn't have a ladder for the inspector to check the chimney and the roof (this was the last check off for the permit to be granted). The inspector noted other items that needed to be done it had nothing to do with the fireplace itself. The inspector left. I called Mike and told him that he was not able to do the inspection because there wasn't a ladder to go up on the roof. Mike told me that he spoke to the inspector and stated that doors needed to be mounted in the openings of the fireplace in order to pass inspection. I told Mike the inspector didn't inform me of the necessary changes and it wasn't written down on the documentation. Well as you can imaging this leads to more money being spent. I wasn't ready to put another $1,000 down so that I can pass inspection. Especially when it wasn't noted on the documents from the inspector. This delayed us rescheduling the last inspection on my part. By this time the holidays have come and gone. I was still grappling with the idea of needing to put doors on the fireplace. Mike told me to contact him when I was ready to do the inspection. With lots of anxiety, I decided to to contact Mike. On February 20, 2015, I contacted Mike to finish the last inspection without the doors just to see if we would pass it. He responded a day later and said he would talk to me next week because he was understaffed. No calls and no texts for a few weeks. On April 25, 2015, I recontacted him and told him and asked him to schedule the inspector. We went back and forth for a couple of days. He had schedule an inspector but Mike couldn't make it. Again the inspector shows up and Mike is not here. May 11, 2015 the day finally arrives and the inspector is here, I am here and Mike is here. Inspector looks at the paperwork and says, I need to see your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and the roof as noted in the report. There's no mention of fireplace doors needed in the openings on the report (because it was never noted). Passed inspection within 10 minutes. I am very happy that the project is completed.

Mike and team were great to work with. They made my fireplace usable again and converted it to gas without losing the option to go back to wood burning. The new stone looks great. They were friendly, fast and efficient and came back to fix a few minor issues needed to make the stone plum for the new mantel which someone else is building. Some places will tell you that the entire chimney needs to be re-built when it doesn't. Mike is honest and straight forward. I highly recommend them and plan to have him come back and do some brick work in my backyard.

I met with Mike Fletcher of Burntech on Monday at my customer's house. He was extremely professional and easy to talk to. My customers and I appreciated his expertise! I would give Mike the highest rating. A final decision on the proposal has not been done yet. Thank you!

I have never had a call back from this company. Nice on the phone but never called to schedule. I have since hired another company and they fixed the fireplace the next day.

Mike Fletcher was great . The process went smoothly. The guys that worked on the project moved furniture inside out of the way, covered everything to help with dust. All was clean when they were finished. They were careful with property inside and out. Mike was great with communicating to us how things were progressing. He always got back to us quickly when we had questions.
