007 Heating & Air

My air conditioner started blowing warm air yesterday. I called a couple of other companies and did not like what I heard, then I remembered using this particular company a few years back and their cost was way less than the numbers I was hearing. After searching through my files I found an $80 bill dated August 2010 from Scott at 007 Heating and Air (818)481-8098. The old bill stated, service call, check system, reset breaker, system is working fine now. Call if you have any problems... I called 007 Heating and Air yesterday and reached Scott, the owner and contractor. He asked me a couple of questions and told me if it was a loose wire or simple switch, the charge would be $80. If it was going to be more than $80, he would give me a bid and there would be no charge for either the service call or the bid, once it was determined that the extent of the work was more than $80. He showed up today on time and within minutes showed me a bad capacitor, explaining to me he was not psychic, and that the rounded top of the capacitor showed that it had overheated and needed to be replaced. He told me the cost would be $140. total., and did I want him to fix it or did I want to get another estimate? I said "fix it" and he said "if this does not fix it, there will be no charge." It was fixed in no time at the price quoted. Sure glad I found his number.
