We have been having problems with our sprinkler heads and our drip system for years. i'd do the repairs the best I could, but it got to the point were we had to turn off a valve, a variety of the drips weren't working, the water was spraying on the driveways and there were spots on the lawn that didn't get watered. I looked around for someone specializing in sprinklers. They are hard to find. I needed someone who could diagnose the issue, assess what was really happening under the ground and around the plants, then fix it so that it would work for years. Shane and his assistant did great. During the estimate, they walked me thru what they were going to do. I asked a bunch of questions as always. I wanted things fixed right the first time. I wanted a good quality and competent work for the price. I wanted it to work when done. I got all that and more. In fact, there was an odd pipe in the backyard. I showed it to Shane. We didn't know where it went. When Shane was testing his installation, there continued to be an issue with the pressure. Thank gosh for his curiosity and wanting to fix things right. He kept walking the yard (its a small one) and kept hearing the subtle sound of water. After going around, following the pipes, the sprinklers etc and still not finding the problem on our lot, he went next door to the house behind us. Low and behold, he found out the house behind (which used to be owned and was built by the same people we bought our house from) had a pipe going from our yard into theirs and were were watering one of their flower beds. Fortunately the pipe was broken because the water could be heard. Shane found the problem, capped off the pipe in the neighbor's yard and fixed the problem. It took a couple of extra hours - but it's fixed. He was persistent. And all of the work, the flower beds, the planter boxes and the yard - the work looks really good. I moved away the ground cover, looked at how he anchored down the tubing and he did really good work. The dry spots are gone. We had him move some of the sprinkler heads. He did so in a way that when the palm dies, which they do every 7 -10 years, we can dig up the spot where the former sprinker head spot was and reactivate it and turn off the existing head. I hadn't planned to spend as much as I did on the sprinklers. My fantasy was that I'd spend half, but my fantasy was not based on any reality. I did get other estimates, and they were in the backpack - within about 20%. Again, I wanted the quality, I wanted to know it was fixed and fixed right and because this is a rental, I didn't want to come back and make new repairs. Shane did great. We plan to use them again for some well work and irrigation at another house.
Description of Work: -tested each sprinker head -tested each drip system head. -tested the values -tested the control panel -repaired or replaced broken sprinker heads -replaced sprinker heads that were the wrong size or spray with the right one. -Fixed every drip system head. Made them so I could turn the on/off as I move plants around. -installed the circular drip systems around the plants (These work great) -fixed reducer and the wiring on 1 of the values Made sure all parts of the lawn sprayed evenly which got rid of my brown areas. Relocated 2 sprinkler heads around (large) palms so the lawn would get watered correctly. Covered the flower beds with ground cover.
