+ -1 moreHad them replace a set of broken garage door springs in the existing roll-up door, they also replaced a plywood door with a new roll-up. Very prompt, nice to work with, and price was most competitive.

They serviced a difficult installation, they shown up to make the installation and discovered that my particular garage had some challenges; they rescheduled the appointments as it turned out to be necessary. They returned the following week with the following equipment and very quickly did the full install. The price of the installation was bundled with the purchase of the garage door.
Description of Work: I used A Accurate Overhead Door.

Description of Work: I have the type of garage door that intimidates other garage door companies. First, it's a heavy multi-panel wood doozie with horizontal panels. Rather unique. The spring roller was right under to the Craftsman belt opener, rather than over the garage door. This played havoc with the tension and leverage. When I was needing repairs, more than 1 local company didn't want to bother, but pushed me to buy their expensive door/system. One didn't show up. Fortunately I saved the best for last. As then I called Frank, the owner of A Accurate Garage Door and knew I met a seasoned professional who KNEW ALL ABOUT oddly placed garage door openers. He does the work himself and with a helper if he needs it. When he retires, this area will have lost a geniune old-timey character who is good humored and community/people caring.(watch out for his running monologue). This specific BIG job was the one to solve those placement oddities I inherited when I bought the house. It entailed moving the garage door opener - pulley and roll bar from the middle of garage to over the garage door entry ceiling. Original location requires almost yearly repairs which he did very well, but need my garage door to work 100% of the time. He also is unjudgemental of piled up stuff in garages -- he justs tells me what space he needs to do the job and I comply. He is very accessible by phone and does emergency calls. He will come back after you have it serviced for a free check-up too. Not pushy about getting the check either.

+ -1 moreHE WAS JUST SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE. WITH THE NO SHOWS, AND PEOPLE NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO, HE WAS JUST WONDERFUL. HE WAS ALSO VERY FAMILIAR ABOUT OLDER STYLES OF GARAGE DOOR MECHANICS. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY, CONGENIAL, AND JUST A HAPPY GO LUCKY PERSON.
Description of Work: REPLACED THE SPRINGS FOR MY GARAGE DOOR. THE OPENING MECHANISM TO THE DOOR WAS 30 YEARS OLD, SO HE CAN REPAIR OLDER UNUSUAL MODELS.
