Description of Work: John Lohr was hired by my brother to remodel a condo for our mother. I did not hire him but was involved throughout the process. The experience was extremely positive . He was thorough, professional and responsive. I would definitely hire him for any future remodeling work

+ 0 moreExcellent job. John prides himself on his work and his customer experience. From the first day we met, though the scoping phase, construction and completion - he was engaged and responsive - typcially 7 days a week. I was always well apprised of status, including the inevitable surprises that come up in a project of this size (i.e. buidling inspector requiring some changes to systems that I was upgrading once work was underway). He kept me aware of progress and when I had questions and some follow up work after his team has left and I moved in, he was very quick in repsonding. No hesitation in working with him again, or in recommending him.
Description of Work: Full renovation of a 2 bedroom condo. The building was constructed in the min 1970s and the unit had never been udpated. Very significant renovation, completely new kitchen and bathroom, new electrical service, new flooring, various woodwork and painting.

+ 0 moreHe’s terrific. John Lohr pays a lot of attention to detail and he does excellent craftsmen work. We have had no problems on any of the parts of our house he has worked on. He is very honest and reasonably priced. He was also very responsive with any follow up work that was needed. I have nothing but positive things to say about him.

+ -1 moreJohn was detailed in the brake-down of costs and competitive in his bid (not the lowest bid). The work involved lots of coordination between the homeowners and John. All the owners were very pleased with the completed project as will as the thoughtfulness that had been extended to them by John and his team. John is a hardworking individual who is able to juggle running the projects as will as skilled ?hands-on work?. He is an asset to the construction projects that he chooses to take on.
Description of Work: I have known John Lohr since 2006. Initially he was employed as the construction superintendent for a successful builder. During that time John was responsible for the day-to-day running of construction for million dollar plus projects. As the project architect (I am a licensed architect) for three of those projects, I had daily contact with John. I found him to be diligent in the execution of those projects. More recently, I was responsible for hiring John, now a fully licensed and insured general contractor for work at my condominium complex. The work involved the construction of over a hundred and twenty running feet of masonry and stucco privacy walls.
