Using Magic Moving was an outstanding choice. I joined Angie's List hoping to find a highly recommended provider for my upcoming huge move. Magic Moving and David's team for two consequetive days was fabulous, then for day three, equally excellent. I will highly recommend Magic Moving to all. I also found that the office staff was, knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant, good sense of humor, and understand limitations for us movers to have access to do stuff like sign and get back contracts. The last one being beyond rare. My team was on time, highly productive, super pleasant and fun to work with, as well as, professional, and courteous. Frankly I can't say enough good things, and I consider myself to be highly critical. I expect others to work as hard as I would.

Using Magic Moving was a wonderful experience! Everyone was so friendly and very organized. Victoria answered all my questions and gave me great tips on how to get organized and save time and money. The moving crew showed up early and didn?t waste any time getting started. They were experienced, knew what they were doing and very professional. They wrapped everything in heavy moving blankets and even packed some things I didn?t have ready. They protected my floors, my stairs and doors throughout my home. I own some expensive antiques and bedroom furniture which they handled with exceptional care. I was impressed with how careful and fast these movers were! The price was more than fair and I ended up spending less than I anticipated. Use this company as you won?t regret it. I highly recommend.

We would definitely use this moving service again. I recommend them very highly. Even from my first call to arrange the move to saying goodbye at my new front door; they made our move less stressful and almost enjoyable. The entire moving company from start to finish is professional; even explaining things 2-3 times over if need be.

My wife and I needed to have our fine bedroom furniture , a family treasure antique and about 40+ boxes of household goods along with other various items moved from our home in Pleasanton (which we just sold) to our home in Grass Valley where we are retiring to. I spent 42 years in high tech purchasing and materials management and I try to use my experience selecting suppliers in my personal life just like I did in my professional life; especially when it comes to items or services of value. I spent a lot of time interviewing 3 movers trying to glean as much data as possible about their operations; from equipment to employee training to complaints. I went onto Yelp and even contacted the BBB to find out about any possible outstanding issues. After doing my research I choose Magic and I can say without a doubt we are extremely pleased that we did. The move could not have been better! They started exactly when they committed and moved everything without a SINGLE issue. Not a scratch or ding or dropped box. The guys working for us could not have been more professional. They truly treated our furnishings like their own. I highly recommend Magic!

The first person in the office would not give me a price and wanted me to fill out an inventory list. When I said I would be calling Angie's List back, that was when the woman on the phone got me over to Nancy who finally gave me the information that they had a minimum of $3450, but even that took a long time to get that information. I would have appreciated if they would have given me that information to begin with.

The team arrived a little late, but other than that, they were excellent. They were all polite and professional, and took great care to handle our belongings with caution and to ensure that everything was moved and set up to our satisfaction. I would recommend them, and I would definitely use them again if the need arises.

Had them move me from a 3600 sq ft home in Benica to a 2500 sq ft homThey were exceptional in every way. When issues on timing cropped up they were flexible and worked with me to figure out the best way to get things done. The crew was so wonderful. Professional, careful and cheerful. I recommend them very very highly.

Move Went GREAT! They showed up on time. Wrapped, Packed, Moved & unloaded Everything. Truck was filled to capacity. Made a HUGE stressful task easy and bearable. The crew they sent out Was the best !!!

A co-worker recommended Magic Moving and I'm thankful we hired them. I have a ton of stuff, which I have always dread moving - but these guys took the pain out of it! They we're early, in uniform and ready to go. Careful, friendly and fast. They protected our floors doors, bannisters and wrapped everything up with thick moving blankets; even wrapped my sofa and recliner with plastic stretch wrap. They made short work of my treadmill and it wasn't easy to get that beast downstairs. Everyone at Magic was helpful, experienced and professional. I am very happy with the service they provided.

BIG thanks to Brandon, David, and Steve! These guys were just AWESOME! We had a snag in our escrow so all my belongings needed to go to storage. These guys were so fast and careful. They came in packed all our stuff in less than a day, took inventory and labeled everything with what was in each box and what rooms. Next day moved it all out (again fast and carefully) with making sure not to bump walls, doors and protect floors. Our huge china hutch was a nail-biter but they double wrapped it with blankets and whipped it out no problem! A month later everything arrived at our new house without any problems. Not easy since we had difficult stairs and tight doorways. We opened every box and not a chip or dent or scratch on anything. Incredible move! Very experienced and money well spent. Already referred Magic Moving to a friend moving out of San Francisco. Use these guys, you won?t regret it; they are AWESOME!

It went great. They were ontime. They really hustled. They were cooporative.

I had used this service 3 months prior and they did a wonderful job. The first time, I moved from a 2200 sq ft house to a 1600 sq ft house. They had 3 guys and a BIG truck. It took the guys all day and they ended up getting overtime and called in a 4th guy. The first move cost $2400.00. I did all my own packing. They wrapped all of my furniture and took care not to damage anything. In July, I moved from the 1600 sq ft house back into a larger 2500 sq ft house. I had the same amount of stuff and did all of my own packing. This time, I got the 4th guy to avoid the overtime charges. Magic Moving did not have the same large truck available, so they brought 2 smaller trucks. During the move, all of the handles were broken off of my filing cabinet, and I lost 3 boxes. With the first move, the lead mover and I did a final walk through of the house to ensure that everything was on the truck and once the truck was fully unloaded, I made a final inspection of the truck to make sure nothing was left inside. The second move, I had to grab the movers multiple times as they tried to close the trucks to remind them that we are taking all of the furniture, we are taking all of the boxes, everything in the house and garage are moving. When the trucks were finished unloading, 1 truck drove away before I ever knew it was empty and I forceably had to inspect the remaining truck to ensure it was empty. The final bill for the second move -- same amount of stuff and fewer packing services provided -- cost $400 more. Because of the destroyed items, lost items, unprofessional service, and no discount or replacement for the items that they broke, I would save the money and go with someone else. I was so disappointed with my second experience, that I will never use this service again.

All I can say is Magic Moving is AMAZING! Planning my move from San Francisco CA, to Columbus, OH took some patience but these guys were so helpful in making it easy. The sales lady I spoke with was very helpful and quoted me almost spot on! They charge by the weight and mine came in less so they charged me less. I wasn?t fully ready when the movers showed up but they were so nice and helpful in packing my glass, flat screen TV, and couple other boxes. I stopped work on Thursday, they packed me up on Friday and out of my apartment by noon; WOW! I took a flight on next Monday and they had me in by 6pm Wednesday of that week. I didn?t have an easy place to get to in Columbus, lots of stairs (no elevator) and they had to transfer my stuff to a smaller shuttle truck. Brandon and his crew were all smiles, didn?t complain once and got right to it. I was moved in, bed made and out for dinner plans by 730 that night! I was completely blown away, just awesome service through out! I will HIGHLY recommend Magic Moving to everyone!

Magic Moving did a fantastic job! I had a very short 2 day turn-around time to move and Magic Moving made it happen. The three movers: Dave, K** and Eldwin were incredibly outstanding! All three of them were very professional, efficient, and effective, worked very well together as a team and treated all of my belongings with care. David as the lead came in assessed the situation quickly and communicated well with his team throughout. David knows his job well, is immensely strong to move things exactly where they need to be with patience and fore thought. When we arrived at the storage unit, I thought that I would need a larger unit and David assured me that he could manage to get all of my belongings carefully into the original unit without worry and he was right on the mark! They organized it just as requested and did an outstanding job. I just can’t say enough positive things about all three of the movers. In a very stressful situation they made it run very smoothly and effortlessly. I have moved many times and have never experienced such fantastic work, on short notice and I would recommend them to everyone. Thank You again!

I want to thank everyone at Magic Moving & Storage for a perfect job. San Francisco is not an easy city to move in especially with 3 flights on both ends. I was blown away on how fast and careful these movers were. I have a lot of musical equipment not to mention my pride and joy stand-up bass guitar. They packed and wrapped everything to avoid any damage, bumps or bruises. Everyone had a great attitude, very polite and professional. A perfect job, well done and well worth the price! We were very pleased with their service and highly recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough about Magic Moving. The advice we got from the office was extremely helpful in figuring out volumes we were moving. The movers were due at 7 am and were there by 5 till 7. The movers worked soooooooo hard. They could not have been more polite or hard working. They took great care of the furniture- I remember thinking they were taking better care of things than I would have. Our move was a hard one- a lot of stuff and a sizeable distance and Magic was incredible. They are the only movers I would even consider.

. The moving crew was prompt and even early; they didn't mess around; got right to it, padding and wrapping everything. My husband and I were concerned about our heavy expensive bedroom furniture but these movers were not intimidated one bit. They did an awesome job from start to finish. I recently used Magic Moving for my move in San Francisco. Everything went wonderfully. The 3 movers were incredibly professional and completed the move in great time. I was ready to give them an A until a week after my move when I realized that one of my favorite possessions did not make it to my new apartment. I had a pair of very heavy urns, one small and one large. I personally watched as they were both wrapped in heavy blankets and placed on the truck. When I called I was told that the men remembered only one urn and basically nothing could be done. I know that when I signed off on the work as they were leaving any rights I had were essentially waved but since they were all so professional I had no reason for doubts. In hindsight I should have taken a more careful inventory before handing over a nice cash tip and signing off on the work. I hope wherever my urn is it's being enjoyed.

The haulers performed all tasks promptly. They packed each thing carefully, so that nothing would break.

Be careful to read their contract before signing it. When making the appointment on the phone, the scheduler told me the in-house move would cost $149. OK, great. A couple of days before the appointment, I got a phone call urging me to return the signed contract via email. I had not received an email, because they had sent it to the wrong address. They re-sent it. I signed it, scanned it, and emailed it back. In my urgency, I failed to read the fine print. Under "Hourly Rate", the contract said: Min. Chg. _4_ Hours _1_ (line break here) Van and _3_ Men _149.00_ Per Hr. I saw "Hours _1_". I didn't read this correctly as "4 Hours, 1 Van". So I signed a contract for a minimum time of 4 hours. The move itself took 35 minutes and went fine. The 3 movers were professional and courteous. During the move, I phoned the office to protest the 4 hour minimum, which no one had mentioned to me verbally until the movers actually arrived. They reduced my fee from 4 hours to 3 hours minimum. So I only ended up paying $447 for a job I thought would cost $149. Caveat emptor!

We used Magic Moving & Storage to move us out of our high-rise in San Francisco. We were forced out due to building code violations and we didn't have much time to look around. I called several companies and found the sales people to be the most knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. We needed to store our stuff while looking around for a new place to live. As frustrating and challenging as it all was. This company was AWESOME from start to finish. They made the process simple and were right' on it'. When the movers arrived we couldn't believe how fast and experienced they were. They had us out before noon and packed my artwork, TVs and nik-nacks with ease. They used lots of wrapping and packing paper so nothing would get damaged. I have some big furniture and lots of stairs, but they made it look easy and simple! We were in storage for almost three months and when they delievered our stuff not one thing was scratched, broken or damaged. Everyone including the office girls, sales staff, drivers and movers were very professional, friendly and accommodating. Well worth the price! We will tell everyone about Magic Moving and we most definitely recommend using them. Thanks again guys!!
