Description of Work: We hired Magic Moving to move to our new home. Nancy was super to work with at the office. Then David and his crew powered though so many things we needed moved, they stacked the truck incredibly well. These guys worked so hard and so diligently. Of course moving the day before a Thanksgiving holiday made traffic ridiculous so the bill was probably higher than it might have been. The guys were super courteous and always looking out for issues and asking us questions so the right items got loaded. We bought them some lunch and they wouldn't stop to eat until we said please stop and eat! I could go on for a while but both of us were just so impressed. Hard to find really good service with really great attitude and professional results.

Description of Work: These guys performed an outstanding move for me, last minute. They worked extremely hard to ensure that everything was meticulously wrapped, packed, and delivered as intended. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Moved a piano. Thoroughly wrapped the piano in moving blankets and shrink wrap. Carefully moved the piano to the truck in spite of pouring rain. Positioned the piano at the destination to the satisfaction of the owner. Very professional, efficient, courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend them to friends and use them again myself.

Description of Work: Everyone at Magic Moving was great. The office staff was organized, responsive, very friendly and pleasant to work with. Magic Moving provided professional packing services and moved me from CA to WA. Everything went exactly as planned. The packers and movers were all on time and professional. Brent was the young man who drove the truck and coordinated my move on both ends and he was fantastic. He was pleasant, responsible, organized and efficient. I think he gets most of the credit for how smoothly the actual move went. When moving everything they were very careful with both homes, protecting carpets and doorways and the like and all my items arrived in WA in good condition. The cost was what I expected according to the estimate I was given at the time I booked the move. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the packers did not label the boxes well and also some of my things were not packed in a way that made much sense both of which made unpacking a bit more difficult. But this is a minor complaint since all my things were packed professionally and arrived in good condition with no broken items which in the end was much more important. After reading information and reviews online about professional moving companies and interstate moving I had a lot of trepidation about hiring professional movers but fortunately I found Magic Moving and Storage and my move went great. I am extremely happy with the service they provided and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: The movers damaged some of my stuff, which they hid from me so that I didn't see until after they left. I did not file a claim simply because I was overwhelmed by so much that I needed to do at the time. The other thing that concerned me was that the head guy insisted that I rate them A+ on the spot. When I refused to do that, he became a bit short with me. I was not comfortable with his pressuring me about this. He also overcharged me and had to issue a credit.

Description of Work: They moved the "heavy" stuff, beds, couches, refrigerator, dressers etc.down sixteen stairs and into a truck in 106 degree heat! No complaints and all 3 worked steadily. 5 hours to load and 3 hours unload. We gave them lunch and cold drinks and were most appreciative. A very good move under difficult circumstances. Their management folks were most helpful in setting up the move. Great recommendation!!

Description of Work: They came on Monday, packed us up in San Jose; then delivered a truck load of furniture/boxes at 10:00 AM the next day in Sparks, NV.
