Bushveld Construction

After comparing bids from several contractors, I hired Bushveld Construction because their recommendation of the work to be done, materials to use, etc made most sense and demonstrated an understanding of my needs, what the environment called for, and genuine desire to find the most sensible solution. Their pricing came in the middle of the pack but given the quality of the work they delivered, it was well worth it ! Since I was able to get a good deal on the deck boards, I ordered those myself, paid Bushveld for their labor (cost of service quoted above), and reimbursed them for other materials such as nails etc upon showing of receipt. Carl Kudrnac, the contractor, and his crew were courteous, punctual, and took great care to make sure everything they built were perfectly square, straight, securely fastened, well-drained/moisture protected, sanded and sealed, and aesthetically pleasing.

He was very collaborative and brought new ideas, but also listened well and worked with us on things that we absolutely had to have. He is a perfectionist (in a good way) and his work is rock solid and of the highest quality. Always showed up when he said he would, and kept promises. All in all, a fantastic experience.

Karl came and figured out several possible solutions to the fence problems. Was very knowledgeable and explained the pros and cons of each option. Once we decided the work was done quickly and professionally. In addition, he completed edging of our backyard deck and included this in the final price. This was our second job with Karl; we were very pleased with the deck he built and our experience both times was the same; professional, prompt and high-quality work.
