The vendor and I scheduled an appointment from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. The vendor didn't show up and at 9:55 a.m. I called the vendors office and informed the young lady that the vendor didn't show and I have to go to work as I stressed when I made the appointment. I was sure to stress to the young lady that this vendor was a referral from another vendor on Angie's List and therefore I gave this vendor the business without him having to earn it because of the referral from an Angie's list lawn care provider. When I called to inform her the person (Mike Grande) was a and quot;no showand quot; she wasn't very empathetic and I was ok with that but I informed her this was disconcerning because I didn't even get a call from Mike to atleast say he is on his way or that he is running behind. I would have understood because things happen that aren't always within our control. I informed the rep at his company that I couldn't stay at home any longer waiting on someone I haven't even heard from. After getting off the phone w/her I received a call about 5 minutes later from Mike saying that he is at my house and that he had been there for 5 minutes. I explained to him that I just left my house less than 2 minutes ago and there was no one in my driveway or in front of my house when I left. He proceeded to argue w/me and state that he got there before 10 a.m. and that should be good enough. I explained to him how he was a referral and I am disappointed that he is satisfied with his service just because he got there right at 10 a.m. and how I felt that was poor service. He cut me off mid sentence and asked if I wanted to reschedule or not? I stated to him I am not interested in rescheduling if he was going to have this attitude and if he was just going to show up late again. I said to him, and quot;If you can show up on time this is the easiest business you will ever get because I just want my trees trimmed. If that works for you we can do business but if not then I am not interested.and quot; Mike said and quot; you know what, I'm not interested and I don't want your businessand quot; I felt that he made the right choice because he doesn't value customers and he clearly has the typical and quot;entitledand quot; attitude of many business owners. As a military veteran of this country I am disturbed that people like this actually get to stay in business. I created a flyer for 100 of my neighbors and paid a neighborhood teenager to inform my neighbors of this guy and not to do business with him. I highly suggest people don't get fooled by this company because they have horrible ethics and don't deserve the hard earned money of anyone in San Diego County and especially not the hard earned money of any of our MILITARY VETERANS.

Vista Tree Service arrived at my home and removed two fully mature Canary Island Pines in record time. They called the day before the survey date to apprise me of their appointment time, and they showed up when they said they would. They called the day before the schedule work appointment to confirm the arrival time of their crew and the crew showed up on time. The removal of the two trees was in a very tight area between two fences and an aluminum shed. There was no damage to anything. This was a very experienced crew. I would highly recommend their services.
