STEVE'S IRON

I contacted the business to find out how much it would cost to get chairs from my wrought iron cafe set repaired. One of the stabilizing discs had come off of a chair leg on each chair, and needed to be replaced. The man who answered my call (Steve, I guess?), was nice enough, but said he was on a job in La Jolla, and would call me at the end of the work day or the next day to discuss the work. Since I expected to be a client, I appreciated that he would put a current job first, and was not upset to be put off until later. However, I never heard from him again. I called a cell phone, so he had my number, and I find it very unprofessional to make a promise that is not kept.

I found him on Angie's List. He did the welding, but they weren't done properly so he came out the next week and did them again. The beds are good now. He did it for free and he did it quickly. I called him and he was out within hours. He did a good job on everything. I'm not going to complain about him at all. I think his price was really good. I thought that he was very reasonable and didn't charge me to come out and redo the beds or anything. His responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism was real good.

After my initial phone call - Steve came out and picked up the pieces while I was at work and I picked them up at their shop when finished a couple days later - the pieces had very tight fit to the stand and Steve positioned the welds so it fits perfectly - I can't tell which ones are the ones he fixed now - they match perfectly - the price he quoted came in on the low end of his range -

Steve came promptly to give us an estimate. We accepted his ideas for the railing and wooden enclosure reinforcement. We set up a time that he would do the work at our house. He did the work on time and professionally and I'm very impressed with the result. I would recommend him and use his services again.
