Steve and his crew were great. From discussing the color scheme, to the final painting. Felt very comfortable leaving them to work in the house while I was at work. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. He still needs to do some touch ups but did not require us to pay the complete amount until he comes back to finish. I love how the house looks and we have received many compliments.

We are very pleased with the job. The house looks beautiful and the crew was tidy and left the place cleaned up.

My husband and I recently purchased a +/-1,500 SF home that the previous owners apparently did not "love"...the walls had lots of dings, dents, bad patch jobs, uneven texture, watery/streaky paint in crazy colors...and don't even get me started on the kitchen cabinets - they had extensive water damage and scratches. I was dreading finding a painter to turn all that damage into something beautiful; especially after a bad experience with painters we hired a couple years ago. Fast forward to today and I am so happy that we used New Life Painting! The owner, Steve, as well as his partner Joe, and fellow painter Mike did a wonderful job. Family & Friends would call me OCD - or at the very least, extremely detail oriented and New Life Painting exceeded my expectations. Steve came out and gave us a quote the day after I first called. He was very patient and kind as I sent him multiple emails asking for detailed explanations of his job process. His answers were always very thorough and usually arrived in my inbox within a few hours of my emailing him. Steve put my mind at ease; and to top it off, he was the least expensive of the 3 painters from whom I got quotes! The overall price included the (very expensive) paint brand of my choice. They were very accommodating when I had to push back the job by an entire week due to other renovation delays and started on the exact day I needed. They took care to cover my wood floors and protect fixtures. They also didn't blink an eye when I asked them to unexpectedly re-texture an entire wall due to a really bad texture job - it would have looked horrible once painted and they wanted their product to look as good as I did. Not to forget several other unexpected "patch" repairs and a whole lot of sanding old paint drips off doors and walls. They sanded, prepped, and painted my kitchen cabinets so well, they don't look like they ever had a wood grain finish underneath the new beautiful bright white finish! Early in their painting process, I noticed a few poor cut-ins, but when I came back the next day they were fixed and looked great! I assume that's just part of their process - I'm not a painter, so I was happy to have them continue after they assured me those poor cut-ins would be fixed as they continued painting. Overall, it was a smooth process. I am very happy with the finished product and highly recommend New Life Painting!

Steve and crew recently painted the complete interior of my home in San Marcos. He and his crew were extremely clean, thorough and patient with the incisiveness of my wife and I when choosing colors. Steve is extremely professional and is a pleasure to do business with. Overall, the job was nothing short of top-notch. I will be recommending New Life Painting to all of my friends!

I am happy to recommend New Life Painting for any interior painting (maybe they do outdoor as well) and especially to refinish kitchen cabinets for a fresh, professional look at a fair price. They were wonderful to work with and i felt comfortable having them in my home.

Steve and his son did a wonderful job. Steve came out to do an estimate, took the time to make it accurate, and was right on. He was professional and courteous. They worked hard and did so quietly...something that was important because I work at home. They removed the cabinet doors so they could do most of their sanding outside. They cleaned up after themselves and were careful not to damage anything. Their quality was exceptional.

After a string of contracting nightmares, Steve was a breath of fresh air. After he painted my house and I saw the quality of his work, I hired him for my downtown condo as well. You wont find cleaner cut lines! He is a great contractor who delivers and made my experience a non-event. He did not hesitate to put a late penalty in the contract when I asked for it. Used DOCUMENTED labor who was very considerate of my time and dog. This was the easiest contractor I have ever used and will use him again if needed.

This was the second time we've used New Life Painting. We dealt with many, many contractors for our major remodel and they were by far the most reliable and flexible as they had to work around other contractors whose jobs got bumped around. They were also much lower than the next closest bid. Work was top-notch and they are friendly, easygoing guys who are easy to have around. Highly recommended on all fronts!
