Deborah Harper Homes, Inc.

Description of Work: I first contacted Deborah Harper in fall of 2010 on recommendations of 2 family members- one had been in the building industry and worked with her, and the other had bought their home with her as their agent. I was selling a home on the east coast and planning a move to northern San Diego in late 2011. Through her extensive networking, Deborah recommended a real estate agent on the east coast who did a wonderful job of shepherding me through the selling/moving process. Deborah discussed at length my circumstances/needs/interests related to a new home in San Diego and immediately set me up with a website listing available homes that met my specifications. She recommended that we look at homes while I was visiting family in November 2010 so that I could get a sense of the local communities and she could get a sense of what I was looking for. She set up viewings for about 10 houses in various areas of northern San Diego county to acquaint me with local areas and styles of houses. She brought printouts of details of each of the houses, was very knowledgeable about each of the houses and about the areas of the county, and took note of what I did and did not like about each house. She pointed out significant advantages and issues of concern about each house very helpful to someone new to this area. Deborah stayed in contact through the next year, and continued to update my website listings on a daily basis, answering questions about listings, etc. When I arrived in SD, she helped me find a house that met my rather demanding specifications and much exceeded my expectations within 3 weeks. She then guided me through the details of financing, home inspections, etc. some of which were tricky and time consuming. She monitored all the details, ensuring that all deadlines, etc. were met, and the closing went through on time. At each step Deborah has been available to answer questions, and provide all assistance requested. After the sale was completed, she has continued to check in and be available with assistance and recommendations.
