Chim Chiminey Sweep

I have been using Thom and his crew for at least 8 years now for our chimney cleaning and maintenance, and I am very pleased with the work he does. They are thorough, clean, and always have a great attitude. A few years back the cap at the top of our chimney had some cracks and crumbling mortar; the repairs Thom made were first-quality and have stood up to the elements beautifully. He's also done mortar work on the firebrick inside the hearth. I recommend Chim Chiminey Sweep very highly and will continue to use them on an annual basis.

It was great. Tom and Tyler showed up on time and explained a few things to me and got right to work. They were very friendly and the service was at a great price. They were thorough and very neat, no mess was made, they even layed down moving blankets on my wood floor to ensure no mess. I had good news because I had no cracks in my chimney. They cleaned the chimney installed a new spark arrester and fixed my damper all within one hour. Tom gave me some tips on how to heat up my fireplace before I put wood in as well as how often I should have my chimney cleaned. I will absolutely hire this company again and I will recommend them to others.

Tom was always pleasant and prompt. Good communication, always responsive, and gave advance calls to update and give exact time of arrival. The prices he quoted for me on the replacement of the chimney chase cover and termination cap were very competitive. And he and his son, Tyler, gave me some good advice on how to clean up and repaint my rusty fireplace screens myself, which now look as good as new! Overall a nice experience. Recommended.

The original work was performed 18 months ago. We decided we did not like the location of the flame and asked Thom to relocate the burner. We were willing to pay him for this work, but he did it for no charge.

We needed to have a chimney cap installed, called to schedule an appointment for installation and chimney swept. I was given an estimate on the phone and made my appointment. Thom, the owner/technician, arrived and provided the service on time. Full of information, answered all of my questions. Would highly recommend this service.

Thom was thorough in explaining how everything worked with my fireplace he took care in keeping everything clean and dust free and was very professional. Excellent job! Unrelated,I had asked Thom if he wouldn't mind replacing a bulb up near my roof top since he was already outside on my roof and he was thoughtful enough to lend me a hand. .Great service. I've used Thom on several different rental properties. He is very thorough and reasonably priced. He makes sure everything is working and guaranteed his work. Told me to have the tenant call him directly if there were any problems. Great!

I did not like their services. The price was kind of high, think we paid 135 dollars and a month later i had a chimney service with another company and they were 82 dollars. Their price was higher and then also when my president called, he scheduled it three times. The first time they told him that they couldn't come out there because their truck was down, he really didn't like it, that was their problem and then we rescheduled and he was running away and then we rescheduled again. They were not very prompt, they were apologetic. It turned out average.

Eric was very professional. He returned my call right away, scheduled the work on the spot and came out in a timely manner. He works was very good and his service was excellent. I am a Realtor, and I have already used him again on another home. He is now saved in my phone.

He was prompt and knowledgeable. I will have him back in two years to clean again. He was honest in telling me the laundry vent did not need cleaning.

I have an unused wood stove chimney and the cap blew off in a storm. I described the problem to Thom over the phone and emailed him pictures of the cap. He came out and sealed the chimney for the cost of a service call.
