Outstanding service. After waiting for weeks on another electrician who kept flaking I decided to give Charles a call. He was punctual, friendly, professional and knowledgable. I would highly recommend him and he will be my first choice for any future work.

We've used Charles before. He's our "go to" electrician. Once he gave us advice over the phone so my husband could make a repair himself and save us money.

First time I used this provider but won't be the last. Showed up as promised at the correct time prepared and ready. to go As it turned out I actually needed a slight drywall adaption making his job a little more difficult. While up in my attic he noticed my heat vents were not sealed and informed me explaining the great loss of heat and expense of a high bill. Suggested I call a heating company and get them sealed as this service he didn't provide but let me know as a courtesy. The fan and light combo he brought to install was top shelf and was light years ahead of that old ear drum destroyer we've been been listening to the last 6 years. You have to strain to even hear the new unit going. Super Quiet. He finished his task quickly and efficiently and left the area he worked in neat as a pin. Not a hint that anything had even been disturbed except that there was a nice looking far more desirable unit installed in place of the old monster. An honest man as well as I mixed up my estimates and when I went to pay him an excess of $150.00 on the bill he told me it was too much and only quoted me $350.00 not the $500.00 I was prepared to pay. Very reasonable product and labor cost. On the merit of my first time service with Charles Viereck Electric I feel comfortable highly recommending this provider without any reservation. You may find a little cheaper but just remember you get what you pay for. Personally I like to buy my oats before the horse eats them!

Charles is a great guy first. He was very prompt and came out soon after calling his cell phone. He was able to give a good quote and get the job done in a very timely manner. Polite, clean and delight to work with. We will definitely use him in the future.

Second time having worked performed by Charles and again he did a great job. I had several chandaliers that needed hangin in obscure locations and he gave me a fair price and scheduled the work within a few days. The day of the appointment he arrived on time and took care of everything as promised and left with the area clean and back the way he found out. I highly recommend this company for any of your big or small electrical needs.

I have used the company a few different times. He does good work and is reliable. He shows up as scheduled. He is a quick and efficient worker. The pricing seems reasonable and he is very knowledgeable. I would certainly use the company again.

Charles came out to give me a quote and was reasonably priced and I asked when could he do it,figuring a week and he said how about now! I said great. Charles was done in a little over an hour. Cleaned up and hung the new lights. I've found myself a new electrician!

I had spoken with Charles by phone and he had made suggestions for an appropriate transfer switch (6-circuit) and he suggested that I investigate Panasonic fans. Panasonic fans have very good reviews online. I purchased the parts myself. Charles arrived on time with an apprentice (Russell). I asked about installing a connection in our backyard for my generator to power the transfer switch. Charles looked at our vaulted ceilings and property lines and concluded that the power line would need to be installed externally through a conduit. It would not be easy to put the conduit underground because of existing concrete that blocks the way. The conduit would need to be above ground along the base of the house and partially through a neighbor's yard, which would probably violate CC&Rs. I decided against that, we will just use a long cord during emergencies. We worked through identifying the six circuits to connect to the transfer switch. He and Russell then installed the transfer switch and the bathroom fans. When they finished the transfer switch, we connected the generator for an end-to-end test. It started badly because the generator was running rough (I had never started it before). Russell suggested that we open the choke, and it started running much better! Everything was done in less time than I had expected in spite of the training that was being done. Charles was doing most of the technical work and teaching Russell. He was charging a flat rate, so taking time to teach was not an issue. Russell was doing much of the carpentry work and did a very nice clean-up job. They both were attentive and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to have them do additional work.

It went very well. He found the problem quick and it was a reasonable rate for what he charged me for but it was extremely honest and forthright about what the problem was and how much it would cost.

Great service. Charles was friendly and installed the 3 fans and now they look great and work great. I would definitely call him in the future for any other work.

Charles is a really pleasant guy to deal with and a very affordable electrician. He ran into a snag when running the wiring, but managed to finish the job in a timely manner. Everything looks and works great. Cleaned up the place nicely when done. He is my new electrician of choice for North County.

This is an old house. The circuit breakers are decades old . When tripped , they would not reset. Charles replaced the breakers. He also worked to diagnose and repair a problem related to a space heater that would overload the circuit. He checked and replaced indoor sockets that were broken. He worked fast and did a fine job. I plan to hire him for some additional projects.

On time, gave us optional solutions for the work and cleaned up all the debris from the drywall.

We are so delighted with Charles! This is the third time we have had Charles to our home. He has previously installed a ceiling fan in our master bedroom. And another time he removed the 4 ft fluorescent tube lights in our two bathrooms and installed normal vanity lighting. He thoroughly understands SDG&E's tiered billing system. He can help lower your bill with energy efficient lighting, and balancing loads. We trust him for all of our electrical needs!

He was able to install the new switch very quickly and have my electricity back on.

Upon his arrival, immediately began using my landing handrail as a work station to change the chandelier. Before I could stop him, he damaged the lacquer handrail finish (multiple gouges and scratches on a three foot section) and I stopped him and put towels down. He said the handrail was "no big deal" and said he could put stain on it. One of the timers did not work and we called him and asked him to make an appointment for the next Tuesday. Instead, he showed up Monday morning without notice and we had to send him away due to a schedule conflict. We arranged for him to come back to fix the timer and he came back and worked on it, but it STILL does not work. He also brought a can of stain to fix the handrail finish but we would not allow it because we know enough about wood finishing to know that that would not solve the problem. He talked quite a bit while he was here and possibly that kept him from being as professional and focused as he should have been. We will seek a finish repairer for the handrail and another electrician to fix the timer and for any future work. He did apologize for the damage to the handrail and he did return phone calls and made an effort to fix the problems.

_x000D_|He was a good diagnostician and fixed our problems in two visits. He charged us approximately $80 an hour.It seems a little high, but I don't know if that is the going rate. We would use him again.

I had tried to install a new outlet in my kitchen and did it incorrectly. I lost power to most of the outlets in the kitchen and had to get professional help. I have reccommended him to a friend.

It went fine. He did a good job. I mentioned to him that I found him on Angies List and he gave me a discount. He definetly knew what he was doing, he could fix any problems and I would definetly recommend him.
