Bradbury Garage Doors

I purchased a garage door maintenance package through Angie's List because our garage door was a little noisy and the rubber seal on the bottom has a large gap allowing critters space to enter the garage. Phil arrived on time with a smile and a handshake. He was very professional and courteous throughout the job. He noted a couple of broken hinges during the maintenance work and was able to replace them with parts he had on hand. He needed to come back later to replace the rubber seal and retainer on the bottom, and he returned on the scheduled day with the same pleasant attitude and went right to work. He completed the job very quickly and the result is great. He also had a few insightful recommendations for maintenance and eventual replacement of the motor (mine is underpowered). I am very happy with his work, professionalism and overall demeanor on the job. I would highly recommend him to friends and family for future garage door work.

Phil is a friendly guy. He reached before time which was not an issue. He took 10 mins to do a quick view and pointed out all the technical details of my garage which I never knew. He mentioned how struts were added for support which was good and that the antenna was extended due to some interference(which was indeed true). He checked out the motor, hinges etc and recommended a couple of hinges to replace which he did promptly. The tune up was quick. Phil also helped change a few light bulbs as well as pair my car and the motor to open/close garage door. Overall I am satisfied.

Phil came to my home within a couple of hours. I had disengaged the garage door and opened it manually. Phil reset the latch that acts as a safety release and noted that my yard sprayer was keeping the door from working properly. The whole process took about ten minutes to diagnose. Phil refused payment saying he was in the neighborhood anyway and it was "no big deal". I am astonished. I selected his company based on Angie's list recommendations and now I know why customer satisfaction is so high. Do not hesitate to select his services. He is absolutely honest.

Garage door hadn't been going up on its own with "assistance"--manually pushing at the same time the opener was working. The service tech did a complete tune-up, including adjusting the motor, and the door works just great now. Now that it works, we just need to clean out the garage so we can put a car in it!

My opener was approximately 25 years old and had died. Phillip replaced it with a good quality unit that he provided. He also replaced the springs. Phillip was prompt and easy to communicate with.

The technician explained everything about our system and what was wrong. He was able to fix that and I appreciated that he was able to talk about the components; how long they would last for. He fixed the switch to that was attached to the wall. The price was reasonable and he did a very good job.

Phil was great. He said we didn't need to replace the door or garage door opener yet. Since I'm retired, I appreciated not being "sold up".

His garage door service fixed our problem. He tightened the springs and lubricated all of the garage door parts. He replaced a hinge. He was extremely thorough and will definitely call him if we have problems with our door.

He was fantastic! All emails were prompt and friendly. We easily made an appointment that worked for both schedules - mine is not the easiest. Showed up right on time and was able to determine the problem. Not what others had suggested and had it fixed in 15 minutes. The garage door now opens better than it ever has in 20 years!!! If I ever need anything garage door related I have only one call to make. I suggest you do too!

Called on Friday with concerns over operation of our garage door. Had an appointment for 9 AM the next day. Phil arrived right on time. He listened to our concerns and went right to work. He was professional and very thorough. He answered all of our questions and had the door working correctly in no time. We will only call Bradbury Garage Doors in the future for our repairs. It was a Big Deal purchase. There was no additional charge. He was very efficient. He was in and out. He was prompt. He knew what he was he was doing. He was probably done in 15 minutes. Everything has been working good. I think the price was reasonable. He was right on time.

Phil Bradbury contacted me right away, made an appointment to come over to give the garage door a tune up. Phil arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, replaced broken hinge, replaced rollers and lubricated the opener. Fantastic! That door opens and closes so smoothly now and is quieter than when the door was new! Would recommend Bradbury Garage Door to anyone, great work, excellent service!

I contacted Phil Bradbury late Friday afternoon about broken garage door springs. I described the problem and Phil arranged to come the following morning to replace the springs. He arrived at the prearranged time and completed the spring replacement. In addition he inspected my garage door opener and adjusted the chain tension. Phil was professional and quick. The door has been working properly for the last week. I would not hesitate asking Phil Bradbury to repair my garage door in the future.

I highly recommend Bradbury Garage Doors. Phil was flexible for scheduling, he showed up on time, he was friendly but professional, he listened to me (a woman), he was prepared to do the job and did it right away, and he didn't try to upsell me on service I didn't need. Eventually we'll replace this old door, and when we do I will have him back to do the work!

Our very old garage door decided to not work on a Saturday morning. It is a type that is not mainstream, so it takes a special kind of opener to work. I called 3 garage door places and explained my situation over the phone. All 3, including Phil at Bradbury Garage doors, said they couldn't do a thing for me until Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. In the meantime I have my wife's car trapped in the garage, and we just could not get the door to budge, so it was looking like I was going to be without my car all weekend. Bummer. But, a few hours later, Phil called me back and said he had phoned around and found a buddy with the garage door opener we needed, and he could install it on a SUNDAY. I almost fell out of my chair, especially when the price he quoted was the lowest of the 3 I called. So, we set it up for the next day, and Phil installed the opener in a very efficient manner and it works great!!! But, that's not the really good part. As can happen, there was a small (and I do mean small) accident that Phil caused. It would have been really easy for him to ignore it and pretend that he didn't know anything about it. Believe me, that would have been the easiest thing, and I am pretty sure the vast majority of people would have done just that. But Phil came to me and told me of the accident, and said he would make sure it got fixed. And, he did just that in a way that was minimally troublesome to me. This is a man with honor who showed me that he is completely trustworthy. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend him to others, and I kind of wish I had another garage door problem as I know who I would call again.

We called Phil on Friday and he came out the next day around 12:30 PM. Phil reviewed our 30-year old set-up and provided options for us to consider. Phil suggested that we could replace the springs and garage door opener at this time and consider replacing the solid wood garage door at a later date. Phil had all the required parts with him and immediately started working. It took about two hours to complete the job. Phil suggests that keypad be placed above the reach of our children which was a well considered suggestion. Phil reviewed the operation of the components with us.
