My first contact was through email sent by Groupon after purchasing their garage door tuneup. They quickly responded, and we discussed add on work to repair the door release mechanism that had been damaged, and options to enhance security. Ballpark estimates were agreed upon, and they were there the next morning to fix the door. Great response, really good service, quality work, and a resourceful and knowledgable craftsman made for a very successful visit.

The service was great, they showed up on time. I felt like he did not try to sell me anything I did not need.

They came out to service my garage door. It quit working while they were here and they said it was just a coincidence. I'm not very happy with that.

Overall great experience. In one day we went from phone call to service to payment, They sent a technician out the same day who called 25 minutes prior to arrival, gave quote and opinion without pressuring a sale. They quickly and effectively solved our garage door problems. We will certainly use this company again in the future.

I found Bradbury makes every effort to get it right and get it right the first time. Our older home was never designed for modern garage doors. We had about three inches clearance at the top of the door and a massive beam just over 6 feet in blocking the install. Bradbury carefully measured, made three recommendations and delivered exactly a solution that works beautifully, It's super quiet, increased headroom/clearance, and is beautiful. Multiple companies never responded. The closest competitive estimate would have failed because the door size they quoted was too large to fit by 4 inches. Some companies took days to respond...Bradbury Garage responded in under 30 minutes. Others quoted low then switched products. One quoter actually quoted for a reputable local installer then wanted us to switch at the last minute to an unknown, un-rated installer. Other companies quoted one thing then reduced features when an accurate estimate was requested. Save yourself the headaches; Call Bradbury, explain carefully and listen to their recommendations. These are professionals and I only regret they don't provide other home improvements, because these people are winners, and they delivered a solution that is actually guaranteed to deliver for at least five years. I wish there were some more superlatives I could serve up here; These folks are pros!! Oh--and they left our garage cleaner than they found it.

My garage door opener stopped working after 18 years. I originally opted to replace the existing unit with a similar belt drive model but a large beam in my garage obstructed the new opener. I went with a new type of unit that mounts on the wall adjacent to the garage door and works by directly turning the shaft mounted with the spring. The new unit is super quiet and has many more convenient features that make it much better that I was expecting. Hard to get excited about a garage door opener but I am very happy with this model and the service provided.

Brian arrived on time, completed what I consider to be a big job in just 90 minutes. He also adjusted and lubricated all the moving parts for no additional charge. Very personable guy.

These guys are great! Brian was right on time and did a first rater job! The day before a cable in my garage door snapped and the door moved to one side and at an angle. I thought for sure it would cost at least $600.00. To make things worse I pictured having to interview at least three contractors to get the best price and quality. The good news, I didn't have to interview anyone else. Brian came out, inspected the door and said he can repair it for $175. The job came out great!

Pre-installation meeting was on time and efficient. Installation took place 1 week later as promised and went exactly as promised. Good work!

Phil was great from start to finish. We woke up Monday morning to find our garage door spring was broken and since our door is so heavy we couldn't open the door to get the car out. I searched Angie's List for local garage door installers in North San Diego County and Bradbury Garage Doors was rated very high so I gave him a call that morning. Phil came over the same day to fix the door and even beefed up the springs since our door is so heavy. He also returned a few days later to adjust the door opener which just shows what great customer service Phil provides. I would definitely recommend to others.

Arrived on time, diagnosed problem quickly, fixed it and gave some good advice about the future of my garage door springs. Also recommended the right oil to oil the wheels on the door.

I called Saturday at 1:00 pm, hoping for but not expecting immediate service. An hour later, the technician arrived, and another hour later, he was done. The price was competitive and the service excellent. I would highly recommend Bradbury.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment after purchasing the Big Deal. They were extremely responsive on meeting the preferred times. The tech, Brian, was running a bit behind due to traffic but he called ahead of time to let us know. Once he arrived, he was professional and checked out the garage. He let us know that everything looked good and conducted the tune up on the garage. He was able to provide additional information if we were to change to a quieter garage door. This is the 2nd time we've used Bradbury for our garage door needs and would definitely use them again!

Phillip, the owner, performed the work. He arrived within the specified 2 hr window. He was courteous and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and gave me an estimate. I consented to the work, and he was done within an hour. I was afraid I needed to replace the entire garage door and opener, because the top of the door buckled in when the spring broke, and the garage door opener kept trying to open it, creating a lot of strain on the motor. He assured me he could install a metal reinforcement strip along the top and straighten the door out. He told me the garage door opener should still have some life left in it, because it was originally installed in 1999, and it was set to the lowest power setting. I am very happy with the work, and I will definitely hire him again in the future. Todd

Bradbury did the estimate with my wife there and she was very comfortable with Phil and the time and effort put into describing options for replacing the garage doors. They mentioned that they may have to move some drain pipes from our balcony that were going to be in the way. They were going to include this in the installation. They gave us a option to upgrade from their standard screw drive to a liftmaster 8550 with some fun features. Their quote was very comparable to two other companies that came out and did the same estimate but didn't mention the pipes. They were not the lowest, but it was within a hundred dollars to the lowest quote. We ended up going with Bradbury based on their description of the job and attention to detail on the quote. The office scheduled the installation a week or two later based on our schedules. The installation was quick and the installers did a great job moving the pipes and installing the control pad. Its a few months later now and everything is working excellent and the neighbors have mentioned they liked our new doors. We would use Bradbury again.

The service was great! They were able to come out shortly after we called, as our garage door kept getting stuck. They completed a tune up and gave advice on maintaining the door. Further, we were charged full price (versus the Angie's List discount) at first, but when I called back to inquire about the discount, they immediately remedied the situation, returned our first check, and charged us the discounted price. This was a super easy company to work with, and without a doubt we'll call them when we need our garage serviced again!

My garage door was crack,saggy and really loud every time I open or close. I called Bradbury to come take a look. Brian came to my house the next day on time and put 2 struts on my garage door and do the tune up. My garage door now is so quiet every time I open and close. I highly recommend Bradbury to anyone that need garage door services.

My garage door and garage door opener are 10 years old, and lately has been binding and and not opening normally. He diagnosed the problem, pointed out the various issues, and let me make the decision as to the coursse of action to take. The tune up solved current problems, and now I know what to look for if other problems occur. The next time a probloem occurs Bradbury will be the first call I make.

Over the past several months my garage door had become extremely noisy while opening and closing. Called Bradbury Garage Doors yesterday and this morning Phil arrived. He diagnosed the problem and gave me several options for repair. The least expensive was a tune up but the 25 year old opener motor obviously needed replacement. He showed me what was causing the problem. He replaced the motor and the drive cables and within an hour and a half the job was done. Several new options on the garage door (the late comes on whenever we go into the garage, there is a beam across the garage so that the garage door stops if you walk through it, and finally you get the time of day and temperature in the LCD display of the control panel. Greatly appreciate Phil's professionalism and willingness to explain what he was going to do.
