 + -1 moreHe removed the extra pieces from previous gates that were installed. He installed all three gates and did a great job making sure they were installed properly and fitted correctly. I was hoping he could have used the kitchen gate that we already had and attach it correctly to the wall for us, but unfortunately he wasn't able to install it and had to replace it with a whole new gate. Overall the service was great- he came two days after I had contacted him, was professional, and on time. The price was a little steep, but its worth it to have it done right and have peace of mind, especially when it comes to the safety of your child.
Description of Work: He installed baby gates on the top and bottom of our steps and replaced the gate in the front of our kitchen.

Description of Work: Robert came to our home on a recent Saturday morning to do a walk through and make recommendations about making our home safe for our 7 month old baby. We were very concerned, we live in a 2 story home. Robert recommended 2 gates and outlet covers. He was on time, installed the recommended items that morning and did so quickly and efficiently. We also have a 5 year old son who needed to access to rooms in the house. The gates he installed can be operated by our son which was a big plus for us. Thank you Robert. We highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Very sweet owner of the company who came out on a weekend to install baby proofing equipment. He came well equipped with all the supplies necessary for our home, and gave us all the options for doorway gates, electrical covers, etc. HOWEVER, he brought is young (8 yr old?) son with him. I initially thought this was very endearing, but my 10 month old son later found an electrical faceplate left behind. It is to this day uncertain if my son found and consumed a small screw left with the faceplate. The owner was extremely apologetic and offered to sweep my entire house for any other errors his son made, but we declined. We spent the next two days combing through baby poop for a screw. It was unprofessional to have his son performing work on our home unsupervised, especially at the danger to our own son. Ironic that we were paying $1200 to baby proof our home, and instead were up at night worrying about how unsafe our home became with potential tiny screws left behind. I would not recommend their services to a friend.

 + -1 moreHe did a great job. I had the house baby proofed before we moved in back in December 2013. He explained how all the latches and locks worked, did the closets and shower doors too. The installation of everything was fast. Recently, I had one latch break ( it is the most used door) and Robert sent a replacement (two actually) and no charge. I did also order some door locks because my son can now reach the door handles, so it was very nice of him to throw those into my order. He saved me a service call when it wasn't necessary and he was quick and reasonable with all his work. It was also nice because he seems to know a lot about the different manufacturers and which ones are good or not. Also I was having a hard time finding a gate for the over sized opening, but he had the perfect one, and it is so easy to completely remove and put back on if you need to. I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking to save time and energy of baby proofing your home.
Description of Work: Installed baby safety latches in kitchen, 2 bathrooms, hallways, and also secured all outlets and installed a gate for an extra wide opening.

 + -1 moreThe technician was punctual. He did a walkthrough/inspection. I felt that this was geared toward how much could be installed as opposed to pointing out all of the safety concerns. In other words, do not expect a comprehensive safety inspection. He is there to sell and install his products. He installed the agreed upon products quickly and efficiently.
Description of Work: Inspected house for hazards, recommended installation of safety devices, and installed agreed upon devices.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job! I would highly recommend them. They were incredibly efficient. Robert scheduled my appointment within a week of my call, showed up on time, and did the entire job within 3 hours. He didn't try to sell me on lots of baby-proofing stuff. He listened to what I thought my needs were, gave some extra suggestions, and didn't press at all when I declined some of his suggestions like toilet latches. I thought it was pricey, but I should have done this from the start and not bought hundreds of dollars of baby-proofing stuff that we never got around to installing. I'm very happy with the result.
Description of Work: They did a consultation where they reviewed my home and made suggestions on baby-proofing. Then they installed baby-proofing equipment, including gates on the top and bottom of my stairs, latches on all drawers and cabinets, covers for my electrical outlets, a carbon monoxide detector, and straps to keep the kids furniture to the wall.

Description of Work: A representative from the company provided babyproofing audit and estimate, followed by immediate performance of work. They installed latches, safety guards, pressure gates, toilet locks, furniture straps, and other babyproofing safety mechanisms as recommended and approved by us.
