I hired Ruben to replace my 13 year-old landscape lighting and some of the sprinkler heads. His quote was very competitive and the workmanship was outstanding. He was very thorough in putting together his quotation and patiently explained everything upfront. I especially appreciated his punctuality---he was on time to every one of our appointments and he started and finished the job just as he had promised. I would definitely use Azaleawood again.

We recently re-designed our yard and Azaleawood Landscape was recommended to us by our landscape designer. We needed to repair and adjust some of the sprinklers for the new plant layout. Ruben was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He made recommendations that were cost effective and made adjustments to the problem areas; he did not make any unnecessary changes. The pricing was reasonable and he is a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend him and we will call him again when needed.

Rueben took time to explain the pros and cons of everything, always giving me choices. He dfifnished when he said he would and was very punctual. He seems very trustworthy and I would highly recommend him.

Ruben is very knowledgeable about watering systems. And he was great about teaching me about understanding my system and being about to assess and make future changes. I was surprised that he did all the digging himself. The good part about that is that it got done properly, however, it does make the cost higher.

He also inspected all lamp connections and made the wiring connections more secure, and gave me advice about future repairs, lamp bulb replacements and general maintenance. Mr. Ruben also gave me advice about future upgrades for lighting and also landscape ideas. He called to confirm the appointment, let me know when he was running a bit late, and overall was very professional.

The service was great - punctual and fixed the issue the first time. I recommend.

Ruben suggested the best fixtures and placement based on our desired function and aesthetics for the landscape. He sent a contract by email, we agreed on the design and arranged to have him return for the installation the next week. He called to update us on the order and installation date. We gave him a deposit that amounted to 10% of the total cost to get started. He ordered the materials and returned for the installation which took two days, one with the help of his assistant. The wires were buried 6 inches below the surface and all the dirt and mulch was replaced. After the job was completed he explained how to adjust the settings on the transformer that controls the new lights. Ruben has experience with all aspects of landscape design and maintenance and he generously spent a few minutes looking over our irrigation system and suggesting ideas to help us accomplish our other landscape goals. Ruben was punctual, professional and good at keeping us up to date on the project. He recommended a high quality system that improves the look and increases our enjoyment of the landscape. The new lights are beautiful to look at in daylight and at night they transform the yard, we only wish we had done this sooner!

Ruben arrived at our Valley Center property on time in spite of the rainy weather. He tested the yard lights to determine why some of them were not working and told us what needed to be done to fix them. We ordered the bulbs, installed them as he showed us and all are working again! We liked his professional, friendly attitude and are using him to install a new, better landscape lighting system next week.

It went well. I took Reben around the front to the back yards explaining the issues I was having. Ruben went hands on in each area to determine the problem. He spent more than adequate time to suggest corrections and or changes to each area. I would definately hire Azalea Wood landscapers again! In fact, Ruben also gave good suggestions for my little used water feature in the backyard that I hope to implement sometime in the future. I would definately reccomend Azalea Wood to my friends and others I know who may need this service.

We are very happy with the work done by Ruben Sotelo and his crew, and get compliments from our neighbors. When my wife accidentally cut one of the irrigation lines placing a decorative light, it was promptly repaired the next day at no extra charge. We feel the pricing was very reasonable, and communication was excellent throughout the process, helping to ensure our all of our expectations were met. I would definitely recommend Azaleawood Landscape Company. Great job!
