Description of Work: Albert showed up and recognized right away that our home was built without adequate attic ventillation. He asked how old it is and explained that in California, all homes are warrantied for 10 years structurally. He advised me to call my builder to save money. Thanks Albert!

Description of Work: Albert gave us a professional quote, accurately described what he saw was wrong with our roof - as did all the roofing contractors we looked at- and gave us a $9800 price with a 5% discount. He did not receive the contract because he did NOT offer color revitalization of the old roof tiles. His base quote was competitive.

+ -1 moreBob Crowe, the owner, responded in person to our request for a bid on our patio roof. He was pleasant, thorough and had a contract in our hands in a very short time. He had three men working very hard for four days. They were all very courteous, worked non-stop in grueling heat, and cleaned up each day as well as at the end of the job. Bob himself stopped by to check on the work as it progressed. Best news of all is that it rained today and our patio is completely dry!
Description of Work: Our patio cover was leaking badly and had extensive dry rot. The company removed existing roofing material and three rows of tile. Then a new plywood cover (which they painted to match the trim of our house) was installed to provide a slope transition to the main roof of the house. The tiles were replaced and low rise drip metal was installed around the patio. Finally ceiling joists and blocks with dry rot were replaced. Although the job was expensive, we feel we have gotten our money's worth.

+ -1 moreI WAS VERY UPSET WITH THE WAY THIS COMPANY TREATED ME. THEY WASTED MY TIME AND NEVER CONTACTED ME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I WORK AT HOME, BUT IF I HAD TAKEN A DAY OFF OF WORK TO BE HOME FOR THEM I WOULD HAVE BEEN LIVID.
Description of Work: I made an appt for an estimate on a new roof. The roofer missed our appointment without even a call to give me an explanation. Once I finally called HIM, I was given the excuse that the owner had fallen and injured his back. He agreed to send someone else out to do the estimate, but no one ever showed up.

+ -1 moreThis company was wonderful to work with. The project took seven days to complete. They even worked the day after Thanksgiving and 1/2 day the following Saturday. At the end of every day they cleaned up very well. We did encounter a couple minor problems that the office and owner responded to promptly and without hesitation. Their goal was clearly to provide quality work and keep the customer happy!
Description of Work: Re-roofed entire roof using existing tiles. Supplied and installed 2 layers of 30 lb. felt, new vent flashing, O'Hagin attic vents, and all other roof metal as needed. Replaced all broken tiles to blend with existing roof color and paint metal vent flashing to match. Cleanup and removal of debris. Removed and replaced wood damage as needed. Warranty for 15 years.

+ -1 moreTHE OWNER CAME OUT TO DO THE ESTIMATE AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE TYPE OF ROOF WE HAD. THE TILES ARE MADE IN MEXICO AND HAVE CEMENT IN BETWEEN. THEY ARE FRAGILE IN NATURE, AND WE HAD CRACKED AND BROKEN ONES. EVEN THOUGH HIS BID WAS NOT THE LOWEST ONE, WE WENT WITH HIM BECAUSE WE HAD MORE CONFIDENCE THAT HE WOULD GET THE RIGHT TYPE OF TILES. THEY SHOWED UP WITH AN ASSORTMENT OF COLORS TO MATCH THE MULTI-COLORED ROOF, AND WERE QUIET AND EFFICIENT. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND WERE SO UNOBSTRUSIVE THAT WE DID NOT NOTICE THEM.
Description of Work: REPLACED 60 BARREL SHAPED CLAY TILES, WITH CEMENT.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE THE ONLY COMPANY (OF 3) THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE WHEN I CALLED, GOT BACK TO ME THE SAME DAY AND SENT SOMEONE TO LOOK AT THE AREA THE NEXT MORNING. THE QUOTE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND THE REPAIR WAS DONE WITHIN 72 HOURS. THEY DID THE REPAIR WHILE I WAS AT WORK, AND CLEANED UP SO WELL THAT WE WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN THAT ANYONE HAD BEEN THERE. A+++
