 + -1 moreMy husband and I met with Craig and we were impressed by his communication skills; we made the appointment within a few days, he followed up to confirm our meeting and arrived on time. Additionally, he was extremely tentative listener, he knew exactly what we needed and suggested and materials to make the foundation and structure stronger. We found that these qualities set the presence for good things to come; so needless to say we hired Craig by the end of our meeting. He was finishing a job and didn't get started until Wednesday of the following week.Craig showed up at 9:00am each day and left at 5:00 pm. He was very clean (i.e., tools, materials, etc.); you wouldn't know he was there, except for the progress he made each day. He completed the job in about 4-1/2 days. We have asked Craig to come back after the first of the year to build another garden shed and a pergola. We have shown friends and relatives his work and believe he has already picked up more jobs. The overall experience was EXCELLENT! This is the first time we have worked with CB Construction and would HIGHLY recommend to everyone.
Description of Work: We asked the owner to build an 8' x 10' Bridgeport storage shed. The materials and instructions where delivered, however, the owner recommended a couple of alternatives to make the structure more sturdy (i.e., 2x4x8 and 2x4x10 treated hemlock fir to strengthen the floor and added steel flashing on the roofline to prevent woodrot). The structure called for 3 inside shelves, two vents, laying the tiled roof, and priming and painting the outside. All of this was completed in approximately 30 hours.
