Description of Work: Tile flooring. Multiple areas that were not even. Workers did not show up or call on several occasions. Took longer than expected to complete the job.

Description of Work: We had our house completely carpeted, except our den. This included the living room, hall & three bedrooms. The owner of this company is Brian Keeley's ...American floors. This was in Oct. 2008. A couple of months we noticed ripples. waves in the carpet. Several friends & relatives pointed this out in Nov. of the same year. I was waiting until after the holidays. Also there was a bad job of finishing the carpet where it went into the master bath. I then called Brian & he came out promptly to see what the problem was. He right off said it was a defect in the carpet. He would contact the manufacture of the carpet. He asked for a hammer. He hammered some of the nails & ruffled it up with his hands where the carpet went into the master bath. Did absolutely no good to fix the problem. He is very SHREWD, or he thinks he is! We never heard from him about him contacting the manufacture. After numerious calls he finally wanted a sample of the carpet. Same thing. Never heard from him again.less than Pgreater than Finally in Aug. 2009 we filed a complaint to the California Consumers Complaint Dept., State Licensing Board/ I also sent Brian Keeley a copy of this complain via Certifed Mail . He refused the letter & it was returned to us by the postman on 9/10/2009. less than pgreater than We then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in 2009. He responded one time saying he would like another sample of the carpet. He would express mail it up to the manufacture of the carpet. Again we never heard from him again. The Better Business Bureau closed the case on March 9. 2010.less than Pgreater than Brian told me at one time. Joy, "if I have to rip up the carpet, replace & pay for it myself" I will do it!less than Pgreater than I have all of these records in my file. Proof of all of these transactions.less than Pgreater than We considered taking him to small claims court, but being senior citizens gave it for a headache. We will just have to replace it. less than Pgreater than To sum this up. Any problems he will sot stand behind his work. A very SHREWD business man!
