We had a toilet that was ?loose? and emitting odors, as well as being unstable. The local Hesperia Roto-Rooter serviceman, Ken, came to our rescue. My wife had wanted the toilet replace for over $300. Instead, Ken told us that the toilet was perfectly good and replaced the wax ring and rebolted it in place, solving all our problems. Not only did he save us about $200, he gave us a discount on the job he did. Honest, professional and high skilled. I can?t recommend them more!

Everything went well, both Steve and George were professional and answered all my questions. Not sure of the price initially but charged what was quoted after inspection. Thank you

I was unhappy because he quoted me one price and when he got down there, it was double the price. He said that he had to take out more. The area that they had to dig out in addition to the first section wasn't as big but he charged the same price. I told them that I felt like they took advantage of me because I needed the sewer. We discussed this and we were able to negotiate a lower price with him eventually. I was really unhappy. Until then, everybody was professional and everybody was doing hteir job. The sewer line itself had been damaged by another utility company that bored through the sewer line. The work was fine. It was just one thing that was unethical. The quality was good. I wasn't completely satisfied with the finish of the concrete. In my mind, he's lost all integrity.
Description of Work: I did use Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services. They had to dig down under the driveway to repair a damaged sewer pipe.

It went great!! I will definitely recommend this company!! Below is the same story that I posted above... I had a toilet that would not flush..so my husband I thought it could have either been a clog in the line or our septic tank was full and needed to be pump. My husband had a meeting to go to so I had to deal with it all from work. I went to Angie's List to get names of possible companies in Apple Valley that dealt with Septic/plumbing problem and came up with this Roto Rooter company. I called and arranged for them to come out to the house after 12noon and they would plan to pump the septic and then also check the toilet lines to see if there was indeed a problem there. During the phone conversation I found out that they were the same company that pumped my tank previously and they even had the records so I could know the date it was done. Found out it had been 7 years! YIKES! I was very overdue. I go to off work early met them at my house..not to much after the 12noon time they mentioned. The first person to show up was the guy who would dig up the septic tank and check it for the pump guy who would come later. I was very nice, polite and professional and come to find out was the same guy who did the digging the last time we pumped! That was a pleasant surprise. He even remembered where the tanks were. He got everything dug up and even told me to flush the toilets to see if they worked now that the septic tank was open. They worked just fine..so the problem was caused by the full septic tank. Once his part of the job was done he left and told me that the pumping guy would be here soon. Well within about 15 minutes another Roto Rooter plumber showed up, but it wasn't the pump guy, it was a plumber to actually check the toilet!! This was a great surprise..I wasn't expecting this since we had established that the tank was full and that was probably the main problem. I told him this, but he stayed anyway checking out both toilet along with the bath tub...Then he went out with me to look at the tank. He showed me the huge clumps of toilet paper in the tank and said that was one of the reasons it could be full also (too much TP) and that we should probably cut down on the amount of TP we used!! While the plumber was there the pump guy came in and started to pump. He was also as pleasant and professional and helpful as the other 2 gentlemen. One more thing that they told me was not to use Rid X in the Tank! It breaks it down and can ruin your tank!! WOW..was I ever glad to hear that! I will stop using that immediately! When the third guy was done pumping, sealed up the tanks, filled in the holes, and got the receipt out so I could pay. To my surprise it was the $350 that they quoted over the phone! I thought there would be an extra charge for the plumber who checked out the toilets...but there wasn't!!! They were great! I will definitely use them again and not wait the 7 years to do this!! Great company to use if you need your septic tank pumped or need any help with plumbing!!

Description of Work: Working in Washington, DC and having my family living in California was difficult enough but, finding someone quickly 2800 miles away whom I could trust was the challenge. Angie's List provided credible data in identifying someone in responding to our needs. Within the matter of a few hours, someone was identified, came into our home, made recommendations and replaced a broken kitchen faucet.

I dealt with Roman who was very knowledgeable and did not treat me as if I am just a stupid woman. Roman is working with me to find out what repair actually has to be done, instead of just saying the usual off the cuff diagnoses that is a repair of about $2500. I really appreciate Roman's concern to do the job right, not just the most profitable to his company.
Description of Work: I had a problem with my septic tank even after having it pumped in December, so needed to find another company (Roto-Rooter), to diagnose the underlying problem, since the first company will not call me back, nor even send an invoice. I had the septic tank pumped again, and then inspected, where they found a relatively minor problem, that may take care of the whole situation. We are taking it one step at a time, before spending a lot of money on possibly unnecessary work.

The two toilets in my mobile home were clogging alternately. We had tried to snake them ourselves with only marginal success. Then they both clogged at the same time and we needed help. Called Roto Rooter and they sent out Dino who very quickly had one up and running. I was given a 30 day guarantee on the work done on that toilet. The second had an object in it and would require that it be removed and cleaned out that way. It required a second trip only because I did not have the money at the time and my son said he would do it. My son got busy and paid for them to come out a second time. Again Dino came out and removed the toilet and removed the object that was obstructing the flow. About 15 days later the first toilet clogged again and Dino came out and cleared it and with no charge per the guarantee. He was very polite and cleaned up after himself. He left no tracks on my floors and was fast at the job.
Description of Work: I had two toilets that were clogged. Roto Rooter sent out a representative and within a short time had both back up and running. I am now considering replacing both toilets to better models to avoid future problems. The cost I was quoted to replace two is only $100 more than it cost me to replace one with another company in a house I recently sold.
