The first 2 servicemen arrived at the agreed-upon time and located the septic tank using a water probe. They dug down to the tank covers and prepped the site for the tank pumping. The actual pumping was done by a third serviceman who arrived shortly after the first team had left. He removed the tank covers and pumped out both compartments. Since I'd had no previous experience with septic tanks, I had a lot of questions which he answered very professionally and thoroughly. When the tanks were emptied, he hosed off the tank walls, replaced the tank covers and filled the holes over the tanks. He cleaned up the area thoroughly before he left.
All the workmen were pleasant, responsive and clearly knew what they were doing. When they were through, I felt very reassured that I could deal with having a septic tank rather than being connected to sewer lines.
In addition, I should mention that the entire process of dealing with this company was pleasant and professional. From my original phone call to gather information, to the appointment setting, to the couple of times they called me on the actual work day to keep me aware of their time-lines and to make sure the work was proceeding as agreed, I could not have been happier. I will certainly use this company again as needed and will recommend them to my neighbors.
