+ -1 moreService person -checked everything and determined it was a faulty remote. We got rid of remote. He then serviced rails with special lubricant -installed a special stability rod where he saw panels were cracking. Excellent service.

+ -1 moreScott the service person came out within a few hours and quickly fixed the problem. He was knowledgeable and friendly. After fixing the door he did needed maintenance. This is the same company that installed the door and they did an excellent job putting it in replacing our old wooden one.

+ -1 moreLaura answered the phone. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Provided quotes over the phone covering multiple options - longer warranty, least expensive, and service only (if I purchased the part separately). Andy was at my house within 20 minutes of my call to complete the service and haul away the older parts. He was friendly and professional. Did the work and more - put the wall opener in a better position that included tacking down the electrical cord so it did not hang like it did before; lubricated all moving parts on the garage door itself; and adjusted the tension on the garage door. This was separate work from the install of the garage opener work itself. He tolerated my hovering over him because I was genuinely interest in the process of replacing everything that hung from the top of the garage.
Description of Work: Replaced the chain drive garage door opener.

We do have an HOA and Nancy made sure that I did have approval for the repair which I didn't even think about getting (and I did need approval). After we got the ok for replacement, Nancy came by on a Saturday, gave us a quote and after paying 1/2 deposit the door was ordered. Once the door came in the install Scott called me to set up the install time. He said my door was due in the following day and could we do it first thing in the morning. I was really surprised that I did not have to wait longer for the install date. Scott said he would be there between 8 and 10 am, and that it would most likely be right about 9. At 8:45 (approx) he call to let me know that the truck with my door had not arrived, but he would let me know as soon as he had it and would be on his way over. It was just a few minutes later that he called back and said "the door is here and I'm on my way." Scott was wonderful, he set up a

+ -1 moreMy garage door spring broke and we had two cars in the garage at the time. I went to Angie's List and found Ventura Overhead Door. I phoned them and told them one of the cars needed to be out of the garage (to get one of us to work) within an hour. This company not only listened to our dilemma, but responded and got the door open in time for us to get to work. Additionally, they were quick with the repair(finished in approximately 45 minutes) and didn't charge any 'extra fee' for the prompt response. I will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: On overhead garage door reattached truss rod brackets and tightened truss rods to align door correctly. Replaced up limit on the operator, lubed and serviced all moving parts.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. They came the afternoon I called. The repair man serviced the door operator, checked the remotes, photo eyes and lubricated and serviced all moving parts. He also showed me where I should use the spray lubrication myself. He was prompt and did a good job. My garage door opener now opens quietly and smoothly. I would use them again and recommend them to others.
Description of Work: My garage door opener was opening the door partially and when I pushed the button would close the door or vice versa, close partially and then re-open. It was only once in a while but worsened to the point where I had to call for service. I used Angie's List and found Ventura County Overhead Door. They came and serviced the garage door opener.
