+ 0 moreThey did a good job and cleaned up very well after themselves. They even put a blanket down so there was no dust on the floor. The person that came out to give the estimate was a little standoffish, but everyone else was really good. The price was good for the work they performed and they showed up on time. They finished the job in a reasonable amount of time. They charged more for the heat plate that I could have ordered online for way less and just had them to put it on. They were responsive and always returned my phone calls quickly.
Description of Work: Grand Ole Chimney and Fireplace made some repairs to our chimney, swept the chimney and painted the inside of the chimney. They also installed a new damper on it and placed a heat plate in the back.

+ -1 moreHis worker cleaned the chimney and apparently he cleaned the dryer vent at the same time. He then went out to the truck and had his worker hand me a bill for $189 for the chimney and $189 for the dryer with a $78 discount. I questioned the bill and the worker went out to the car to get Mike. When I asked Mike why he did not tell me how much it was to clean the dryer, he got very agitated and said that if I wanted to know, I would have asked. When I explained that I had asked, he got aggressive and started yelling. I told him that this was not professional and asked him to leave.
Description of Work: Called for chimney to be cleaned and dryer vent to be cleaned. I asked for the cost over the phone and was told that the Chimney cleaning would be $149 and he would quote on the dryer vent when he got there.
