+ -1 moreInitially it went very well. Arrived on time on October 17, 2014, and finished job in a timely manner. On December 9th, the glazing started to pit. I called Mario shortly there after (I didn't mark down date) and he said he would come out, but would call first. Since then I have called on January 6, 2015 spoke to Mario, January 22nd, again on January 22, spoke to Mario, and both times he said he would come out and has never returned call to set up time. I just called again on February 2nd, 2015 and left a voice mail. Three calls and no response. This is a business that does not honor their warranty, let alone return calls.
Description of Work: Glazed bathtub.

+ -1 moreIt was excellent. The guy did a great job and it's a very messy business that he does and yet when he left things were clean, neat and in good order. They have good price and did a good job. There's not so many people who'd do what he does but it seems it's a good price and he's good.

+ -1 moreToday is December 8. It has been one week since I was told someone would call me. I have not heard back from them. They must not need my business.
Description of Work: I contacted this company on 12/1 to get a bid to have my two showers replaced. I received an email back on 12/1 advising me that they would be calling me to schedule an appointment to come to my house.

Description of Work: We are in the process of refurbishing our master bath. Part of the project was to update the shower and bathtub units, which are side by side. We got quotes to replace the subway tiling and tile the entire area including the bath tub, shower, surrounding walls, with coordinating trim and floor tile. That objective started to become very pricey, when we discovered Bath Crest in Ventura. Their products include: Acrylic bath liners, Shower liners and wall surrounds, Tub refinishing, Ceramic tile resurfacing, and resurface fiberglass units Bathtub to easy step in shower conversion, walk-in and easy entry low barrier shower Handicap accessible shower and walk in bathtubs for increased safety and comfort Complete bathroom remodeling Walk-thru bathtub inserts converts tub to shower without demolition Bathroom accessories to enhance safe and comfort Frameless and framed shower doors or curved shower rods We had our units sanded and resurfaced in their lightest white color. The results are fantastic. Our units look better than they did when they were new. The time it took was 5 hours and 48 hours later everything was dry and usable. Most people have not heard of this alternative to tiling. I highly recommend Bath Crest, which is a national company with local franchises.

+ -1 moreThe technician who came (forgot his name) was friendly and left the work area clean. We followed what seems to be the standard protocol of vacating the area for 24-48 hours to let the new surface cure/dry. Initial work looked great, but only about a month later, we found a little sliver chipped off and called the company about their 5 year warranty. We'd been careful about following the company's restrictive care guidelines (no suction cups on bathmats, non abrasive cleanser, etc.). Unfortunately the company says this is part of man-made wear and tear and would charge a service fee to fix it as a "chip repair," not resurfacing correction. Looking back, if we'd known about the different follow up options, we would've just asked for a chip repair service instead of paying for surfacing the entire tub. Perhaps resurfacing material is not meant to stay pristine/chip-free for long? We're going to have to buy one of those hardware store kits to paint the chip over.
Description of Work: We had some large chips around the drain area, so we called and someone came and gave us an estimate for resurfacing the entire tub.

+ -1 moreThey removed the doors and you couldn't even tell that my shower had doors. They are miracle workers they made the shower look brand new. I have used them twice came in and tell you exactly how long it is going to take if it doesn't have a indoor window they will tell you how long to leave the fan on. They gave me a senior discount also they were very professional.
Description of Work: Refinished bathtub at two residence also removed the shower doors.
