YB Cleaning Services

I've used this service for a while because they did not burn the house down (almost happened with a different cleaning service) and did not steal anything. Once they almost broke the door lock, but we moved on. Then the cleaners were using some horrible product that smelled so badly that I'd have to air the house out, clearly not something environmentally friendly. I called, the managers said they would use the murphy's oil on the wood floors (which should have been happening all along). Not sure if they did (I work when they are there), but the house never smelled like Murphy's. The cleaners continued to use the caustic substance in the bathroom, so I called again. The manager said that now the crew would use all environmentally friendly products throughout the house - funny, that's why I hired the service - apparently you have to ask for them to comply with their representations. Also, keep in mind that the cleaners rarely do the windows and wouldn't do the laundry, so I wasn't getting much of a service anyways for the price. The final straw was yesterday when the cleaners used my husband's toothbrush to clean out the drain - I have the picture of it full of hair. So, I cancelled the service and would not recommend them.

I am happy with this company. They are responsive. They do a thorough job of cleaning for the size of the area for the time I purchase (2 people, 2 hours).

Very nice people, unfortunately they were not familiar with what type of cleaners to use on various surfaces such as marble and travertine and granite. Two of my bathrooms are marble. I also discovered the steamer window on my glass shower door was broken when they left (the glass window was installed with tension so it could be closed when using to steam) The cleaner broke it when cleaning it. She apparently didn't realize the tension was supposed to be there. My husband noticed it when he came home. It cost over $300 to repair it. Nice people but I felt I had to baby sit while cleaning because I feared they might scratch my wood floors or damage the marble in my bathroom. Despite my checking in, something was still damaged.

After an initial difficult time with scheduling, they stepped up to work with me to find a date at a rate I could afford. Many cleaning companies will not do "move in move out" and we were only 3 months into a move in, where the previous tenet didn't finish cleaning the house before they left. Many nooks and crannies were extremely dirty and the floors were very dirty.

I purchased this as an Angie's List deal for four person-hours (two people for two hours) and was absolutely delighted by their service. Scheduling was easy via email and phone - they're very quick to respond. They asked me what I wanted them to concentrate on (kitchen and bathroom) and did that well and quickly. I've called them for service several times since and they've sent a variety of different crew persons, and every single one of them has done a great job. They are extremely hard-working and YB should be proud they are representing their company well. Their regular (non-Angie's list special) price is a bit more expensive than other places, but they do EXACTLY what you ask them to do without nickel and diming you with "extra" charges. For example, they cleaned both the inside of oven and the inside of the refrigerator for no extra charge. They go above and beyond, too, like removing my bathroom light cover to dust the inside of it, and even vacuum the dust off my own broom! Overall, I highly recommend YB Cleaning and think they offer an excellent value due to their flat-rate pricing with no extra charges tacked on.. Due to that, you'll probably end up paying YB Cleaning less than what "cheaper" housecleaning services charge.

Scheduling was quick and easy, and the 2 ladies who came to clean were on time. They were here for the time scheduled, and they worked the entire time. What I needed, though, was a bit more thorough than they gave, and I would have asked them to stay and help longer but when they told me they were done, I figured "if this is done to them, then I'm done with them." So, while cosmetically the house looked better, it was certainly not the deep cleaning that the house needed. I take responsibility for not clearly explaining what I needed when I scheduled the appointment and for not speaking up when they were here, but I was cleaning the family room/office while they were doing the bathrooms/kitchen/bedrooms/livingroom.

The cleaning itself was adequate although overpriced for the service. However, our most important criteria was being able to schedule subsequent cleanings on demand (i.e., for when guests departed). Originally, the service said they could do this, and could vary the cleaning from a simple refresher to a thorough cleaning as needed. But we found the company unresponsive when we asked for quotes and follow up. Multiple days passed from when we placed calls or emails until they were answered, if they were answered at all. A "Laura" failed to answer our final email requesting a quote based on their evaluation of the house after the first cleaning. This was a big waste of our time and we had to identify, evaluate, and hire a different service.

They were punctual and did an excellent job. I would use them again in the future.

Two cleaners showed up, and they were very swift, and very thorough. Would absolutely hire them again.

This company is total pro all the way. From their customer service, the way they handled the scheduling, to taking care of each aspect. The cleaning crew worked at an awesome speed yet attention to detail and thoroughness from room to room. I am very detail oriented and like a job done well. They did just that and exceeded my expectations. I want to specially thank Laura for making sure that I had the service on the exact date I needed. I was working on a very tight timeline and she really went the mile plus. II truly appreciate it.

Not great. The house was empty and in good shape to begin with (only floors they had to clean were in the bathrooms as all the wood floors had been buffed and cleaned day prior). Told them the kitchen was main focus so I found it odd that they missed 4 drawers in the kitchen and I t is not a big kitchen...only a 2300 sq foot home in total (they asked me to inspect before they left so I caught it before they left). Also, they only vacuumed drawers and didn't wipe down. I had to go over surfaces again.

Amazing customer service they are sending a crew out again to fix what the other crew charged. I want to give them my continued business now cause they are making it right and being so prompt. Amazing ?

I was very happy with their services. The people who showed up were really nice and did a superb job on my residence. I just went on the site to reschedule another cleaning and saw so many negative reviews. My experience was great. I am going to reschedule another cleaning service with them and I'm hoping I have the same experience as my last experience despite the unhappy reviews that I see.

When I scheduled the appointment I was very clear with what I wanted done. The kitchen and bathroom only. They were able to have someone out to me fairly quickly which was nice. Two ladies arrived, on time, as planned, but which meant 2 people at 2 hours, extra time to be billed. They brought a vacuum and supplies, most of which appeared to be from the Dollar Store. I offered my own which were declined. I was having an empty apartment cleaned and again, only the kitchen and bathroom. I asked if time permitted for the windows to be cleaned. The apartment kitchen and bath are not large. The bathroom had just recently been completely redone - paint, tile and floor, and the kitchen had new paint, finished butcher block counter and flooring. The bathroom was cleaned adequately although I ended up finishing up in there. (72 sq. ft.) The kitchen was wiped, stove top cleaned, refrigerator partially cleaned. I ended up cleaning the freezer. (108 sq. ft.) One lady did decide to work on the windows, which would have been nice except they were not using equipment but rather rags. And the now dirty rags or dirty hands from the rags ended up marking some of the just painted walls, which I then had to clean. I was proactive about the time, so they were there just two hours. My main bone of contention is they were not well equipped with paper towels, squegies (sp) or other things to make their work easier on them. I offered cleaning supplies which were declined. I had told the person doing the scheduling exactly what I had wanted done, which did not include vacuuming the recently redone hard wood floors. Perhaps there was a break in communication. Perhaps too many people say only this and then ask for more. I did not think my request to clean an empty bathroom and empty kitchen was an unreasonable request, allowing two hours for each room. If there was extra time after that was done I had hoped they might be able to get to the windows. (8 total) Since I ended up cleaning marks of the wall, finishing the sink and toilet in the bathroom and cleaning the freezer, I did not feel it was as good a deal as I had originally hoped it would be.

One of the workers did a good job with bathrooms. The other in the kitchen did a poor job and we noticed we were missing some plate sets afterwards.

We used YB twice and they break something both times, the 1st time was my favorite glass/water pitcher set, I let it go because I didn't want to get the cleaner in trouble. But the 2nd time one of the cleaners turned on my bath tub faucets too rough, the water was running like crazy and neither one of us was able to turn it off, I end up calling a plumber and paid more than $135 to fix it. The plumber was from Angie's list also, he communicated with YB prior to the service call, and he seems to think it wasn't YB's fault, however after he replace the faucet stem, we had the same problem not able to shut the water, he was able to make adjustment and all he said it was his mistake and never told me why it did turn off earlier. It was a very bad experience. The bottom line is we'll never use YB and will not recommend them.

They were really nice and have a good thing going. It went really well and they provided good cleaning.

The cleaners were quick and effective. However, they were late due to another job. So I had the appointment moved up, and they missed that time as well.
