Description of Work: The representative from Top Roofing was on time, polite and provided alternatives and recommendations. However, I did not use this company only because I intend to do a remodel. I was impressed by their professionalism and would seriously consider using them in the future.

Description of Work: Complete waist of time after 2 phone conversations explaining my expectations of less than 50 tiles needing replacement on my Spanish roof. Made me feel like the job was too small for the big deal offer. Could Be a good roofer, but I will never know!

Description of Work: I called the office and they scheduled an appointment for the following week at 1 pm. At approximately 1:30, Ron the roofer called and said he was just leaving LA area and it would take an unknown amount of time to get to San Pedro, since he wasn't sure of traffic, but at least an hour or longer. He called again an hour later and said he was still on the freeway and near Long Beach (not near my home at all). He called again around 4 pm and asked if he should still come. I said yes, but he responded that tomorrow would be better. I cancelled. This is terrible service.

Description of Work: I e-mailed a request for an appointment and waited about 6 weeks, I received no response. So I called and was told they did not servicee my area and that Angie's list had made a mistake and would refund my money.

Description of Work: Top quality service. They replaced our apartment complex roof and the service was great!

Description of Work: I was hoping to use the Top Roofing Big Deal that I purchased but it turns out that my roof is too steep to qualify for that deal and also the damage that needs repairing was beyond the scope of the deal so I had them and several other providers on Angie's List give me estimates and I decided to go with Halo Roofing (they are on my roof now doing a complete replacement). So I won't be using the Big Deal for the simpler repair and needed to get it refunded.

Description of Work: After I purchased the Big Deal, I emailed the owner requesting to schedule an appointment. That email was never answered. A few days later I called and left a voicemail, which was also never answered. Three phone calls later I finally got the secretary. She mentioned our home was out of their service area, and so, I would need to contact Angie's List for a refund. While I pursued the refund, I also called back the merchant on March 29, to see if I could pay extra to have the Big Deal completed. She said the owner would be returning within 20 minutes and she would talk to him and give me a call back. I never received a response. I am thoroughly UN-impressed with this company. The lack of response is astounding. At this point, I'm actually happy they don't service my area because so far my experience with this merchant has been awful. If you could please credit my credit card for the amount paid, $199, I'd appreciate it.

Description of Work: Called and requested an appointment around 4pm, was told I would receive a call back in 15 minutes on my cell phone (gave them my number). No call back, waited another day and no call back. Called the company and was told I should have received an email from Angies List as Top Roofing doesnt service the area in which i live. If they dont service my area then they should have just told me or called me back to let me know.
