+ -1 moreDoug charged me nothing for the shot drive, gas wear and tear etc,. nor for his time: talking on the phone, writing down the appointment date and time, putting on his appointment clothes (Casual Friday) etc., etc.,etc. WOW! Nothing at all jut for not doing something he'd rather be doing! I wish there was a better score to give him for what I call service over and above the A.. Seriously, I highly recommend him to anyone looking for computer related problems. You will be pleased to meet Doug Welch, and need have no fear of bing taken in by an expert who might tell you all kinds of fiction, just to redistribute money - from your pocket to his.
Description of Work: I called WelchWright Co,Inc 5916 VESPER AVE, VAN NUYS, CA 91411. because my computer quit talking to my monitor, and then when I tried to restart, turned itself off, and wouldn't turn back on. Doug correctly diagnosed my problem on the phone, saving me any charge for a home visit, or any charge at all. I'm from the NY city area, which may be why I wprisesed. Unfortunately my problem was intermittent, so Ineeded a house call in the end. It turned out that there was a physical problem with my set-up (the on/off button was in a very inconvenient place. of all things, so I was unknowingly turning the thing off with my feet) It took less than 5 minutes for Doug tp see it, but, he really did need to see it.

+ -1 moreExcellent. Doug showed up on one day's notice; worked steadily and cheerfully to repair and restore our computer system, and was available by phone the next day when I had a follow up question.
Description of Work: Reconnected and rescued our home intranet. Several of the computers had stopped speaking to the printer. One computer was badly infected.
