They cleaned out the gutters and some of the roof really well, they filled 5 large trash bags and 2 large trashcans worth. They were really great, professional, got done in a timely manner, and I would definitely recommend them!

Comparing the work of the other company to Rain Gutter Specialists is like night and day. No more ugly raw edges showing, no more twisted down spout, no more hanging gutters which leaked/ poured in 4 places. Beautifully done. That owner Guy is passionate about his work is a key factor, and that his skilled workers also care about doing a good job!

It says gutter repair and replacement under the company name on their Angie's List page. I called about getting some repairs done and they said they don't do that. They gave me a number for someplace else. Not a knock on the company, just need to change the description on their page so people don't waste their time calling.

I checked Angie's list on a Tuesday and called the Rain Gutter Specialists immediately. A cordial, well-spoken representative arrived on time at 9 am the next morning, with an advance phone call to confirm I was home, reviewed the job and gave me a quote, with an Angie's list 10 percent discount, all in about fifteen minutes. I felt at ease with the price and his explanation of the work to be done, important as I was doing this alone while my husband, usually in charge of such things, was away. I also was very pleased with the choices of color available and found a great match with the color of my house. I hired the company on Thursday and the two workers arrived Friday morning, a half hour before the appointed time of 10 am. They finished the job with no problems and were gone by 1 pm, leaving the property tidy and clean. A task that seemed daunting to me, replacing the gutters, seemed to happen like magic and now I have a beautiful new front of the house, an improvement long over due. You'll also like the friendly voice of the women who answers the phone when you call this excellent company.

We were scouting for a reasonable price to replace our old gutter and Guy gave us the best price ever. He's very easy to deal with and he made sure that we're happy with the price and job. To start I'll just say that I had a very good experience with RGS. They were prompt, accountable, easy to reach and communicate with, readily provided additional service resources that I thought were helpful, and the quality of the work was very good. Details follow: I have rain gutters at my 7-unit apartment building that are roughly 20 years old that were damaged in places which overflowed and leaked causing some fascia, siding and stucco damage, and other areas leaked at corners or joints. I called RGS for an estimate for repairs, and the RGS representative on the phone indicated that they don't really do repairs, that they will more likely recommend replacement. I figured it didn't hurt to have them come out and look since the gutters were quite old. RGS sent Lior out for the estimate, who indicated that my current gutters were old-fashioned 4" Galvanized that were most likely purchased from a Home Improvement place a long time ago. He recommended replacing it with 5" Aluminum seamless gutters which will give more flow capacity, and also install the gutters using gutter hangers rather than gutter spikes, which I liked. Because there was fascia damage which needed to be addressed before installing the new gutters, Lior recommended a carpenter named Angel, and arranged for Angel to call me (Angel was paid separately). Lior also recommended repurposing all of the old downspouts, and add a couple more in low-traffic areas to avoid being damaged accidentally by tenants' cars coming and going. He gave an estimate of $2,150 for 240 ft of gutter and 20 ft of downspout. Angel coordinated with RGS so their work will be done consecutively and not overlap. On the day of the scheduled installation, Guy from RGS called me very early in the morning indicating that there's been a flood at RGS offices, and that he needed all his guys back to help deal with the office flood, apologized profusely and rescheduled the repair for the following day. On the following day the RGS guys called me about 20 minutes earlier than the appointment time let me know they have arrived, which was great. Installation was done within 5-6 hours. I was concerned about the sky looking gray and potentially raining at the start of the installation day, and John the installer told me they will stop the instant it starts to rain, but they didn't have to. John the installer also showed me a section of gutters at the side of the carport that was not in the original estimate, and asked me if I'd like to have that done as well, and I did. During the middle of the installation John called and asked me if they can install an additional downspout in the middle of the longest stretch of roofline/gutter because the gutter would otherwise sag in the middle from the weight of water during rain, and I agreed to that as well. These additions costs another $245, which I thought was reasonable. The new gutters and downspout looks very good, RGS hauled away all of the debris and the entire property was cleaned up perfectly. I am very satisfied with the experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about Rain Gutter Specialist. From the sales person Guy who came to visit. He was very professional. Showed up on the time that he had scheduled with me. Guy explained what was needed, no pressures. He was not the typical sales person. He did recommend some ideas that I should consider, but again no sales pressures. To the team that came out to do the work. High quality workmanship, clean, and very careful to take care of my landscape and home. You will find that the price for Rain Gutter Specialists to be higher, but you need to understand that you are paying for a higher quality product that will last longer and a crew of artists who take pride in their workmanship. No one else that quoted the job mitered the corners or used hangers that did not penetrate the gutters. From the sales person to the crew, you can?t go wrong by using the Rain Gutter Specialists.

We are waiting for a call from Guy today to schedule the work to add a new gutter for the front of our house. But in talking with Guy I mentioned that we had a particular gutter that was dripping from the downspout. This is a gutter that Gutter Specialist had not installed. Guy climbed up on a wall and was able to access the spot where the leak was occurring. He found that the top of the downspout was clogged with debris. He cleared the debris by hand and no doubt stopped the leak. He did not charge us for doing this and did not try to sell us a new gutter to fix the problem. Guy is friendly and honest. As I said, we have used them before and are using them again. I give Gutter Specialists my highest endorsement.

Along the back of our recenty-bought-house, there were no gutters, after the first 2 heavy days of rain in January, we noticed he run-off from the roof dropped onto an area of dirt & plants, floods very easily & fast. We only needed a section of gutter to re-erect the water flow. Guy came out, discussed w/ us, he suggested a few ideas but didn't try to talk us into adding more than was needed. We were going to schedule another day for installation, ut Guy worked it so someone could come back late thaw same day as his visit to install a section for us. The 2 people that came to install were nice, helpful & fast. I'd use the every time for anything they do!

Awesome. Although they were really busy, I was able to get an appointment for an estimate the week after I called.They just finished the job today and it looks great! Everything looks to be good quality. We just need a rainstorm to test everything out but I don't foresee having any issues. All of the staff that I have had contact with has been courteous and friendly. Altogether, a very good experience with this company!

Guy came out to give us an estimate on replacing the gutters in the rear of the house in prep for El Nino. What a pleasant experience! Guy arrived promptly at our appointed time, quickly evaluated the situation, and determined that we only needed to replace a small section of what we have. Gave me an estimate, with the Angie's list discount, on the spot. Based on other estimates, his was the best and I felt most comfortable with him. We will move forward and I expect a call from him with the schedule tonight.

Provider was very responsive, honest and professional.

A few friends and neighbor's were talking about the up coming rainy season and how some of us needed gutters. I said I would do some research and found The Rain Gutter specialist through Angie's list and contacted them Monday 8/24/2015 at 9:30am. Got a recording stating due to a high volume of calls I needed to leave a message which I did asking for a call back. Didn't receive a call back for a couple of days, and I understand sometimes things happen notes get miss placed etc. so I called again on Thursday 8/27 at 11:30am and got the same message again so I left my information again and as of this review still no return phone call. We will be seeking out another vendor and will not recommend this company to anyone. A return phone call is not that hard to make even if you are too busy to handle the job. UPDATE Finally called and scheduled an appointment for 9/21

I had a great experience using The Rain Gutter Specialists in the past to remove old gutters and install new gutters on the back of my house. My house does not have rain gutters on the front because the ground slopes away from my house so rain pooling around the foundation has not been a problem. BUT with all the talk of a huge El Nino this year I figured I should meet with Guy to discuss adding gutters to the front just to be safe. Even though they were really busy they scheduled to come out to give me an estimate in roughly a week. Guy and I went over the best way to install them and how and where to install the down spouts so it would they would look good against the house and move the water away from the foundation properly. After agreeing on a price, Guy said they could come and add the gutters that day. I was thrilled to receive such fast service since I know they are extremely busy. When I got home that night the gutters were all installed and looked great - I didn't even need to be home while they did the work. I just want to say that Guy couldn't be a more pleasant, easy going and nice person to work with. Thank you, Guy! I highly recommend The Rain Gutter Specialists!

I sourced three quotes for gutters for my home, in prep for what appears to be a year ahead filled with rain (we can hope, anyway). These were not replacement gutters, it was an all-new job with some peculiar roof angles and large overhangs that made it somewhat atypical. We also have a modern home and aesthetic and did not want standard style gutters. Guy, the owner, was the one who came for the estimate. I am always so impressed by business owners who do some of the work themselves (he's not sitting behind a desk all day), and have an unusually large amount of enthusiasm for their business. I mean, who can get excited about gutters? I'll tell you. Guy Ziv DOES get excited about gutters. It's clear from the moment you meet him, he's a different type of business owner. In the end, I felt he understood what we needed better than the two other companies. He immediately quoted a flat-faced gutter plus rain chains. We can remove the rain chains when they're not needed, thereby eliminating ugly downspouts almost entirely. His office staff were so excellent, Barbara in particular. There were some last-minute changes on the day of the installation that resulted in less material being used, and the job foreman could be overheard on the phone revising the quote to reflect a credit for the unused material. Other contractors would have just overlooked it and pocketed the difference, but I could tell they were eager to do the right thing (without being asked). Guy was not the cheapest of the bids. In fact, he was the most expensive (substantially more than the lowest bid, just slightly more than the middle bid). But one thing I've learned with home improvement - many things cannot be undone, and you want them done right by people who know what they are doing. Plumbing. Electrical. Painting. Gutters. I had the confidence that he and his crew would do it right, and they did. I was very pleased with the outcome. I believe it overall improved the appeal of the house and gives the roof a nice clean edge. Most important, if the promised floods, locusts and frogs arrive this winter, we'll be protected from major flooding around the house. I would gladly hire this company again, and would absolutely refer them to others. Even though they are more expensive, you do get what you pay for in the end.

Just called and spoke w/ a "Beverly". Asked her if she served the city of Covina, and she asked my again what city to verify and then said, "oh no, I'm sorry we don't". What a load of garbage!! Your website says it does and also there was a review from a a neighbor 5 miles out who you came out to give a quote back in April of this year! Business must be really good, huh? If you want to keep your A+ rating, please prep yourself with better lies.

Overall our experience was incredible to say the least, and we were very glad to have chosen Rain Gutter Specialists for our homes gutters. After reading great reviews for the company on here, we decided to get a quote. Contacted the provider through Angie's list and setup a time for an in person estimate. Lio came out on a Sunday to give us the estimate. After about 15 minutes of measuring and color matching, he gave us a VERY reasonable number to work with and even threw in a discount for coming from Angie's list. Truthfully, I had another quote come in under what Lio offered, (not by a lot) but it was his professionalism, knowledge of the business, and quality assurances in materials to be used and work to be done that we decided right then and there to use Rain Gutter Specialists. We gave him a 10% deposit and he set up a time for the installation to take place 9 days later. From that point on the communication was good. If I had a question, Lio would answer it. The company called the day before installation to give an arrival window, and showed up on the day of 15 minutes after they said they would. The installers were a pleasant and professional team of two men who went over with me exactly the colors and placements of all the gutters and down spouts. Once re-approved they went to work, and had the job completed in about 4hrs from start to finish. After completion we did a walk through to check on the work and everything looked GREAT. We gave the remaining balance to the lead installer and thanked them for a job well done. Especially in this blistering heat! Two side notes: The crew was very conscientious of cleaning up after themselves and made sure to leave no tin clippings, nails, or other installation waste behind. My only negative critique is that some light shaving off had to be done on the corner eaves to make sure the gutters were plumb. This was never brought up before hand, and although it wouldn't have swayed our choice in the company used or even having the work done, it should have been mentioned. All in all, this was a great experience for us, and I'd highly, highly, recommend Rain Gutter Specialists to anyone needing gutters on their home. A+.

The rain gutter specialists installed our gutters and did an amzaing job, matched our trim color perfectly. We worked with Guy then and plan to have him come back to install more gutters in the back so we can collect rain water. They are a great local company, very reasonable costs, and excellent work!

Our entire experience was smooth and super responsive. Was able to get Guy out for a quote right away. Initially booked us for a few weeks out, but was able to move us up in the queue. The work was mostly completed by a single gentleman, which blows my mind. Some of the old materials were accidentally left in the yard, but there was zero problem getting someone to come and collect it the next day. Everything looks tight and shiny. Can't wait for it to rain to test it out!

We talked about installing new gutters throughout the house. Unfortunately our needs were immediate and he had a reasonable backlog of a few weeks, given current weather predictions. Easy to work with, apologetic, and helped us find a provider with comparable pricing that would meet our needs. I had a great experience, but I should be clear -- they didn't do any gutter work for us, so I'm speaking more to the customer service.
