The appraiser arrived at 8AM as promised, and we toured the property. I had one building in the back of my property that definitely needed the gutters replaced, following a reroofing. However, I asked him to assess the rest of the house because I was concerned that, as the house is rather old, some of the other gutters might need updating or replacing. This would have given him the opportunity to suggest a large repair; instead, he specifically told me that he thought my system was in good shape, and that he would be reluctant to upgrade or replace what we have. I thought that was rather delightfully honest. The price quoted felt fair, and he described in detail what he planned to do. I signed off on the agreement, expecting a week before the job would be done. Instead, he called me a couple of hours later and arranged to have his crew come THAT SAME DAY. They arrived around 3PM and were done by 4:30. How often does a contractor work that fast and that well? Not to mention that the gutters now in place look a hundred times better than the previous gutters did, as they tucked the downspout to the side of the building, effectively out of sight. I would recommend these folks to anyone, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

It went without a flaw. The installers arrived in the afternoon and the work was done just as promised. The workers were professional, neat and clean. Could not have asked for more. The gutters were done on the truck, measured to perfection and installed properly.

My experience with them was very good. I liked everything about their service. Everything went very smooth and as promised as they spoke. They were very friendly, very professional and did a clean job. I’m very well satisfied with them. They were excellent and I have no complaints whatsoever.

I've needed to replace the gutters on my home for a very long time. If I had known how pleasant and easy the experience would be, I'd have done this a long time ago. I emailed the company via Angie's List and within a very short time had an appointment to meet with Guy, the owner, the next day. He arrived on time and was very sensitive to my busy work schedule. He was able to do an estimate while I waited, we agreed upon a price and he was able to schedule the work for the following day. I met his crew in the morning - they were professional and punctual - had a quick conversation with them and left for work. When I arrived home in the evening the work was completed, looked great and my property was tidy and neat. The price for the job was reasonable. I couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend this company.

I called on these guys originally to look at some low spots in my rain gutters, which are probably 10-15 years old (they were on the house when we moved in). They arrived on time and the estimator was very friendly, informative, and professional. He quickly assessed the situation and gave me several options. He made it clear that the best solution would be to replace the gutters with something that is higher end and fits the design of the house better (he's right), but offered options for fixing the problems in the short run. He even recommended the cheaper solution for now given that the gutters are in pretty good condition. I picked the cheaper option and they came out and did the work quickly and very well. They ended up fixing the flow lines of the gutters, repairing bad spots, and adding two additional spouts where they should have been originally. The new parts match the old ones perfectly and they hid the downspouts to where you don't notice them. We have had a few rain storms in the past three months and the gutters performed nicely. I will definitely call these guys when it comes time to replace the gutters.

Guy the owner diagnosed the problem as " gutters needed cleaning" . He told me he did not want to charge me his minimum rate $350.00 to do work my handyman or gardener could do much less expensively. What an honorable person. I would absolutely use him in the future!!!!

My partner and I are EXTREMELY pleased with the service and the finished product. The gutter actually looks like an architectural detail of the house, but that's not why we're so pleased. First, Guy is very personable and promptly came to do the estimate, which came in below the other 2 bids. But here's the kicker: We live in a house that slopes down from the driveway. Ordinarily, you wouldn't see the bolts and hooks, but when they were through putting the gutters up in the front, some of the bolts/hooks were visible, and I was upset. The workers handled my nerves well, and one of them called Guy. He handed me the phone and I told Guy I wasn't comfortable with it. After we hung up, the worker said that he could move them down and fill in the holes with screws. Just then his phone rang and it was Guy calling him back. I heard the worker say "new flashing?" at one point. When they hung up the worker informed me that he was going to purchase new flashing for the front. The old flashing color was silver (meh) but they brought back white - a great touch because it matched the gutter and rafters! I called Guy back and said that his excellent reputation is well-deserved. I know how this sounds, but I'm going to say it anyway - I love our new gutters! If your experience was half as good as mine, you won't be disappointed if you hire this company!!

The estimate was fine. The company allowed us to put a down payment and schedule later. The communication with the office via email was good. No problems there.. At installation,two guys came out, Guy wasn't there, and initially discussed what we wanted and where we wanted the downspouts. They did mention that some of the studs would need to be trimmed. We had already started replacing the small decorative arbor in the front. When Guy came and gave us the estimate he left a piece of gutter so we could adjust our work on the arbor to allow room for the gutter. We did this and left them enough clearance vertically. Well, when they 'cut' the studs it looked more like they chewed them. They cut the right corner of the front peak back 2-3 inches which wasn't necessary. Now the front peak looks lopsided. My husband and I were home at the time. The least they could have done was show us how much they had to cut. I do not think they needed to cut anything, because we tested the position with the sample. The gutters themselves look fine, but the damage to the house is questionable. They should get the homeowner involved since it is our house before they make any cuts. I talked to Guy the next day and he provided great customer service including fixing anything I felt was wrong. I discussed it with my husband and we decided to just leave it alone, I will say the workers that came out were prompt and courteous, went over the layout of the downspouts and helped to divert the water based on the slope of the house. The office staff was patient and accommodating to our schedule. Overall the gutters look really good.

It was very good service. They were helpful and paid attention to detail. It was quality work with great customer service. The price was reasonable too.

They are fantastic! They were incredibly professional and did a great job. Guy was really nice, and helped me set up a payment plan. Beverly is really awesome, too and she very responsive and follows up with the customers.

It went great! Guy came out to give us a quote and was right on time. really nice, and super efficient. He recommended a color that would match our existing trim and gave us a fantastic quote. We scheduled the work for two weeks later (to fit my work schedule) and they came out today on time and installed the gutters. It looks fantastic. The installation crew were really nice, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves.

From start to finish this was a perfect job. Guy came over yesterday to give us a quote on replacing our crappy old gutters with sparkly new ones. He was very personable and gave us a quote on the spot. We agreed that the terms were acceptable and he said that Beverly would be calling us to set up a date for our installation. Guy called today and said that he had a cancellation and that his guys could be at our house this afternoon to do our job if we were available. The guys were very nice and did a great job. WOW! From quote to installation in 24 hours. I don't expect that would always happen but it was great for us. Guy and his crew deserve their great reviews!!!

They were great! They came out and they were right on time. They were very efficent and I was very pleased.

Initially we were worried because of local weather forecasts predicting rain before the job could be undertaken. Guy appreciated our concerns and arranged to personally inspect the site before the rain arrived. After examining the site he determined the work could be done sooner than expected by re-routing work crews located in Pasadena and Silver Lake. We agreed to go ahead with it sooner than originally expected. He made several phone calls and assured me a crew would arrive at our house within a few hours. At that point he left the site. The crew arrived within the predicted time, They called Guy who repeated in detail what could be done in lieu of the solution he and I had originally discussed. I felt comfortable with the explanation, and agreed to let the job proceed. The work was done efficiently, with attention paid to the appearance of it as well as the quality of it. The job was completed within the predicted time frame, and it appeared to be the effective solution to our problem that Guy and my wife had designed. We now await the coming rain with calm, and the belief that our problem was solved with every regard to our concerns. Due to the commitment to the customer, and the flexibility to re-arrange their schedules, I would highly recommend this company to friends, neighbors, and family alike.

Everyone was punctual and very nice. It was the only quote I got, but it seemed like such a good value that I went ahead with it. The installation seems very good.

It went really well. Guy's workmen showed up at 2:30 on the 9th. They were polite and professional. They completed to work quickly and effectively and it looks wonderful. They cleaned up after themselves and took the old gutter with them. I delighted with the service and love the color of the gutter and downspout.

Wonderful service from start to finish. Friendly on the phone. Showed up on time to give me a quote. I asked for quotes on an expensive box gutter and a less-expensive flat-face gutter. They gave me both and then steered me towards the cheaper (by $1,000) flat-face option. My contractor said that the price was good. Showed up on time to install. Guys were fast and friendly, done when they said they would be. Guy happily answered my follow-up questions. My contractor was very impressed by the work and asked for their contact info. Like I said, wonderful from start to finish.

Amazingly great job. Guy Ziv came out in the morning to provide a free estimate--great price, right in-line with my budget. Was also able to have his crew come out the same day! Right on the promised time, they completed the whole job within an hour and a half. Amazing. The gutters look like they always belonged on the house---high quality and seamless. Very friendly and professional company--look no further.

The Rain Gutter Specialists did a great job. I wasn't home, but my wife said they didn't bother her, they got the parts, they got the gutters up, and the rain isn't flowing down my house anymore. I would give them an A+ on everything. I would absolutely use them again, but I hope not.

Guy, the owner, came out to help us assess our needs. He agreed we needed gutters in certain areas around the house; in other areas, he said that unless we had a specific reason for placing gutters in one of the locations, that he saw no need to install in that location. We explained that it had been recommended after the 1994 earthquake, because of the way the house settled, and he agreed it made sense. He proceeded to draw up the estimate, which was very reasonable and which was less than the two other estimates we received. Guy was extremely pleasant to work with, and clearly he is an expert in this field. Our interaction couldn't have been better. He arranged for his crew to come to our house the next day, which they did, arriving on time, and like Guy, they were pleasant and totally hard working and professional. There was one small change my husband wanted to make when he inspected the work after completion (it was an aesthetic change) and they were very accommodating in making the change. What a great experience we had! Wish we had an excuse to bring them back.

Guy came to the house and gave us a quote right then and there. He let us know that they were booked solid for 6 weeks. After getting estimates from three other companies, we decided to go with rain gutter specialists because they had the lowest quote and also because we were impressed that Guy gave us a quote on the spot. Other companies were taking a few days up to one week to get back to us. Four weeks before our scheduled repair day, we got a call saying they would be able to fit us in the next weekend if it worked with our schedule. Luckily, it did. The repair guys came out to the house right on time. There was an issue with the rain gutter not naturally wanting to drain a certain way, so the guys asked us if it would be okay to install a rain chain to fix the problem. It not only worked great, but didn't cost us any extra. About a week or two later, it rained for a few days and the new gutter and the rain chain worked perfectly! We would most definitely hire Rain Gutter Specialists again. Highly, highly, recommended.

I like Guy who came out. He was very nice. He went around the house and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Their scheduling took a little longer than I would have liked and they do not work on Saturdays but they work Sunday through Friday. The guy who did the installation was not very professional. The thing they said they would do, they did not do and so they also caused some damage when they put up the gutters and when I asked him, he claimed that he did not do it and that it was already there. I just said that I just had my house painted and it was them who did it. When I had that problem, I called Guy and to me it sounded like he did not want to be bothered so he just gave me a hundred dollars off. The gutters look nice and they are fine but one part of the gutter was not as long as it should have been. The installers were terrible. I really did not like them. I personally chose them because they had the color of gutter that I wanted. I would use them in the future but I would be very specific on making sure things are done right.
