The installation was completed yesterday and the fireplace looks lovely. More beautiful than I expected. The installation crew was excellent, they worked quickly and very efficiently. The work area was closed off for dust and debris and the entire work area was kept very neat and tidy. While working they kept the dust and dirt to a minimum and cleaned up everything before they left. Excellent! I wanted to replace the original brick fireplace mantle/surround and hearth--it was falling apart. I called and Joseph came out within a day or 2. He sat with us and showed us various photos, but he knew right away after entering our home what would he thought would look best, and it matched exactly with the vision we had in mind. He worked within my budget, and also put a rush on it so it would be done before we had our floors redone. We were on a very tight time crunch, but they made it work. Joseph was fantastic to work with, and just a genuinely good guy. Debbie, the woman who answers the phone, was extremely nice and helpful. It took a couple of weeks for them to make the mantle and hearth, then they came the day after Thanksgiving and installed it. They were professional, courteous, and did an amazing job. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to replace their old mantle. I can't say enough good things.

Mantle and hearth are gorgeous. There was an issue with some stains on the hearth but they were very responsive and fixed the the stains.

We've recently finished remodeling our Spanish style home in west LA, and replacing our fireplace surround was on our list for quite some time now. We found SoCal Fireplace Mantels online and my husband and I went to their showroom in the valley. We were pretty impressed with their selection, as well as the knowledgeable staff. We scheduled an appointment with one of their salesmen that day and they made sure to accomodate our busy schedules. Joseph arrived at the house, and immediately we could both tell that he knows what he's talking about. The price was reasonable (we were able to find a little cheaper with a different company, but we didn't like their material) and we decided to place an order. The new mantel was ready in 2 weeks and it looks beautiful! Also, the installers were respectful and hard workers. They made sure everything was perfect and clean before they left. From start to finish, Joseph made sure to keep me informed about the process, and followed up to make sure that we were happy with the end result! Our old ugly PV stone fireplace and hearth of the '70s era has new been transformed by a custom manufactured stone mantel, legs and hearth. A salesman from SoCal Fireplace, Mike, came to our home with samples of materials and a book of designs which we picked through. We were looking for something modern and low so we could mount the TV above the mantel. He gave us a very fair price and told us they could do the entire job. I had done the demo work and had had multiple contractors come to look at building us a new modern looking fireplace. Instead of having three different contractors which was getting complicated he bid to do the whole job in one weekend. Four weeks later two men showed up as scheduled on a Saturday and did all the drywall work and the next day a different team came and they installed a new fireplace mantel, legs and hearth. Everything fitted perfectly and looks beautiful. My wife is extremely happy. The drywall was ready to prime and paint. In this case I wanted to mount my TV over the fireplace and I had the wires all organized and they cut holes in the new drywall in just the right places so no wiring can be seen. They put up a plastic tent to keep the dust from going through the house also. This was a very high quality job and we are happy customers.
