+ 1 moreIn September, 2014, we contracted with Reliable to make some repairs to the living room and kitchen ceiling and also to do some minor remodeling of the kitchen including all new recessed lighting. We are very pleased with the results. The workers did wonderful work in all aspects of the total job. They were courteous, cooperative, and hard working. They finished the job in a timely and professional manner. During the estimate phase we found Zion to be very patient and listened carefully with our concerns. We did not feel rushed and we felt we received a fair estimate. In fact we said we would shop around after his estimate and he said no problem and waited patiently for us to get back to him which was a couple of weeks. We would definitely hire the company again for other projects around our home.

Description of Work: Painting inside and out, replaced carpeting, replaced part of block wall, replaced doors and painted them, replaced rain gutters; replaced shower head, etc in bathroom, replaced some molding, various other minor items. |Did excellent job on outside. Inside not so great. Paint job inside was terrible. Cracks in paint in door creases. Was supposed to sand walls where needed, not done. Was supposed to come by three times to deal with doors -- did not, Doors do not hang properly, in fact, one door will not latch when shut. Biggest complaint is carpet. He told me what I picked out was wool - it was not. Although I can't prove it, I know the carpet I ordered was not the carpet installed and I paid big bucks for the carpet and installation. I have never had carpeting as bad as this and I hate it but have to live with it. Previously, I had major work done inside and outside the house and did not go thru a contractor, I hired individuals based on references from friends, paid half as much as the contractor's estimate and was highly satisfied with the work. I am older now and did not want to go thru the hassle of hiring individuals and decided to do the contractor thing. All I can say is it does not pay to be lazy. I made the mistake of endorsing this guy on film immediately after the work was done and I had not inspected thoroughly. The contractor is very personable and makes you feel he is going to do this great job for you. At this time, I would not hire this guy to do work on a dog house. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY (ZION), HE IS A LIAR. Even one of his workers accused him of being a liar.

+ 2 moreI heard about them after they called me. I have worked with them twice. The first time I used them they replaced my old windows with new vinyl windows. I was very pleased with the work. The owner is very professional, punctual and explains things very well. His estimates are very good and all of the workers that came out to the house were very pleasant and punctual. Their attention to detail was excellent. The owner gave me a copy of his Better Business Bureau rating which shows no negative comments. He told me that the reason he has no negative comments is that if there are any negative issues he will resolve the issues. I had a couple of little things with the window installation where the paint was chipping around the interior of the window sill. When they did the caulking it kind of came loose a little bit where the paint was chipping. I mentioned it to them and they came back out and fixed it. They also corrected an issue with the exterior painting. He is very conscientious and wants to please his customers. I was pleased because I did not have to continue to call them to come out and resolve the problems. They just called and set an appointment to come out and fix things.
Description of Work: I used Reliable Construction & Remodeling to paint the exterior of my house. The house needed quite a bit of stucco patching and they also replaced a couple of exterior doors. They also installed a security door in the front.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY RELIABLE AND VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING ME DECIDE WHERE THE LIGHTING SHOULD ACTUALLY GO. THEY HAD A LITTLE BIT OF EXPERTISE IN HOW THE LIGHTING SHOULD WORK IN THE ROOM. IN MY PAST WORK WITH CONSTRUCTION THEY SAID THEY WOULD ARRIVE AT A CERTAIN TIME ON A CERTAIN DAY, AND NOBODY WOULD CALL. THIS COMPANY, WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD SHOW UP AT 7, THEY DID SHOW UP ON THAT DAY AT 7.
Description of Work: THEY SMOOTHED OUT CEILINGS AND ADDED LIGHTING IN TWO ROOMS.
