R & B TILE

Well. Time estimate respected. Work neatly done, workplace left very clean and tidy. Worker pleasant and extremely competent.

Sergio was fabulous. They were efficient, completing the work when they said would.

The gentlemen involved (yes, there still are gentlemen.) responded promptly, arranged for convenient service and performed efficiently and cleanly.

The quality of the work was exceptional! I had 3 bathrooms tile cleaned, new grout and sealing. However, I experienced issues with punctuality and not showing up on time. At one point, I was told the appointment could not be rescheduled due to their no call no show. I was told I had to pay full price for the project before it was completed. The job was quoted to be completed in 2 days and needed an additional day. The price quoted was changed and additional charge was added on for materials.

Helped to select the tiles. Installed all of it in one morning. Beautiful job. I'm glad I used them every time I open my front door. On time not noisy, cleaned up afterward. Very professional. I'd use them again. Nice man, his wife runs the shop with the tiles.

We had a proper estimate which at first seemed a bit high, but the person who did the work, came and did an excellent job. It looks better than it did orginally, so we are very happy with the work.

Everything went fine. They were prompt. They were efficient. Their price was in line with other people, maybe even a little bit lower. They accomplished the job as exactly as they said they would. They were really good.

In remodeling my bath I wanted to retain its 50s look, Rory totally understood this and matched my existing tile and fixtures really well. He discovered a lot of water rot in the walls and some mold, and very reasonably estimated the repair. The work came out really beautiful, I plan to use R and B again for my second bath and kitchen floors.

Everything went smoothly from contacting R and B tile for an estimate to an early completion with beautiful results. I couldn't have asked for more!!!

That the tile job itself was done well is due primarily to the workers who laid the tile. They weren't the source of our dissatisfaction. We began with a bid from Rorey Bassuk at our home. An architect had drawn the plans which were very clear in terms of dimensions. As part of the bid, Rorey Bassuk calculated the amount of tile we should order given the dimensions of the shower stall and floor. We ordered $1381 worth of tile. Very soon after the job began, it became clear that his calculation of the required tile was extremely inaccurate and excessive, to the extent that we ended up with 3 full boxes of the shower tiles left over and quite a bit of the floor tiles. Of course, the tile had been special ordered and was not returnable. (#1 Lesson learned.) So we're stuck with a lot of tile we don't need and spent a lot more money than we needed to. But just as aggravating was the total lack of responsibility taken by Rorey Bassuk for the error, compounded by a total lack of sympathy (which would have required responsibility anyway). He really could not have cared one bit less and rudely shrugged off the situation. The bathroom was completed 18 months ago, but the sight of boxes of excess tile in the garage constantly reminds me of the unfairness and unpleasantness of the business dealings we had with Rorey Bassuk. Although the tile setters were skilled at actually setting tile, we needed to carefully supervise them because the pattern of the tile wasn't obvious to them, so that when a tile was upside down and didn't continue the pattern/color properly, they didn't recognize the error. We didn't mind this because they obviously were doing a skilled job, and were very willing to follow our direction and requests. However, no one from Rorey Bassuk's company provided that kind of oversight, so it was a good thing we stuck around during the job.

I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM EXCELLENT, BUT WE HAD A FAIRLY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS SATISFACTORY. THE COMPANY WAS PUNCTUAL AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.
