I have used them a couple of times. They show up when they are supposed to. They call in advance, are honest and thorough. They are willing to do little repairs instead of replacing. They have done work when I am not present since I am a landlord, invoiced me and delivered what they said they would.

They were fabulous. They were committed to making the gate work despite a few issues. They really went above and beyond.

They arrived early and knew the problem and got right to work. Alex was very friendly and knew exactly what to do. I would definitely recommend him. Within 1/2 hour they were done and my gate works perfectly.

They did the work quickly. They came out to adjust something that had to be done. They did a very good job. The price was reasonable compared to the other companies we looked into. We were very happy with the service.

They were good but their prices are a little bit higher than the other estimates I received. They came out relatively quickly and it took them a week or two to get the estimate returned. I haven't gone with them at this time because the work is for my vacation home and by the time I received the estimate I was leaving.

Our entrance gate had been acting up: not closing completely; opening a few feet after closing; sometimes completely freezing in place. I originally called another AL company to come out and give me a quote on repairing the gate. Upon inspection, the first company's technician informed me that I needed to replace the ICB (the motherboard that controls all the gate functions), at a cost of $800. I always check prices, and when I called PACIFIC, they quoted me $600 for replacing the ICB. I went with Pacific. Jim Nunez, Pacific's senior Tech, showed up a little early (after calling to ask if it was okay). After a quick inspection, he told me that the ICB was fine and didn't need to be replaced. What needed to be replaced was the chain, which was about 20 years old. Jim replaced the chain, made some adjustments to the ICB, and sure enough - everything worked perfectly. Now, I know nothing about automatic gate openers. Jim could have sold me the ICB for $600 AND suggested I replace the chain. I probably would have agreed. (My wife wanted the d*** gate fixed) - But he didn't. Jim was very pleasant, knowledgeable and he saved me $350. I would definitely call Pacific again.

Alex arrived 10 minutes early and greeted me with a big smile. He was professional and represented Pacific Garage and Gate very well. The new wheels were on in just a few minutes. The gate seems like a new gate, I should have called Pacific years ago. I wish all service calls were as smooth as this one was. Very pleased.

Alex and then Gustavo were skilled and professional. All parts were repaired, reset and work like new. Pacific is a high quality company.

Everything went extremely well, and the gates look and work great. We wanted a custom design, and they were willing to create such gates at a reasonable price. We were very happy with their responsiveness, their price, and their workmanship.

Jim was professional and arrived on time at the initial scheduled appointment. Was polite and very knowledgable. Was able to at least make phones work after phone company could not -- the original wiring was shorting out somewhere in the conduit to the gate. Service occurred on the date scheduled, within the time parameters promised. Abe and Gene did a clean, professional job. The area cut in the driveway was barely noticeable after they were done. Would definitely recommend their services and would use them again.

They were punctual and gave a very fair quote based on others I have received, and they included more options at the same price. I haven't hired them yet as we might not have it put in before selling our home, but if I do I will go with them.

great company to work with! very responsive and came up for initial estimate very quick. The quote was clear, easy to understand and the price is competitive. They've accommodated all my requested, being very flexible on the schedule, and did an excellent job installing the motor! The workers are polite with very clear communication. This is a very well organized company and I'll definitely use them again in the future!

Appointment setting time was fine...done by their secretary... I had an appointment from 10 - 12 .... no one came or called by 10:25 so at 10:30 I called them to check, and was told that Gustavo was on his way and that he would arrive in about 10 minutes. He did, and was very pleasant. I told him the problem, and he got to work right away. It was more complicated than either of us thought it would be, but he knew the next steps to take. It turns out the motor was working, but is so old they don't make remotes for those motors any longer, and despite putting in a new battery, the remote was not working. Gustavo did a great job...and was nice to work with. Thanks, Pacific Garage!

We were having trouble with electric driveway gate. Jim checked it out and got it working. The gate was here when we bought the house. We had no idea what to do if we had problems with the gate. Jim was great and explained some "trouble shooting" things to check to get the gate working if we had problems again. I would definitely call them again if we have problems with the gate.

We weren't able to do the project with them, but they were professional and up front about everything so that we could make important decisions on the project. That we didn't use them should not reflect at all on their quality or performance. I have high regard for this company.

Jim Nunez, was just fantastic. He came out to do the original estimate and he worked patiently with me through the whole project. I had a lot of questions and he was very available to answer them all. I modified my original request for the design of the gate and he came back with a beautiful design that was fabricated, installed, and painted perfectly. Jim was very punctual in all of his appointments with me and he worked very well and coordinated work efforts with my driveway contractor. He kept me informed of the work status throughout the project. Jim's follow-up was also outstanding. A few days after the installation, he came out to make a minor adjustment so that the gate was working perfectly. I will definitely be contracting with Pacific Garage Doors and Gates again in the future for my next gate project.

They were good. They got all A's in troubleshooting the problem. The previous guy came out and tried to sell me a whole new $2000 system, and they came in and fixed it. The work that they did, I was happy with that. They were very pleasant and professional. They were on time and they diagnosed the problem correctly.

It didn't go anywhere. I don't like to be forced to use a service provider. I like to get at least 3 bids.

The service man showed up on time as scheduled. He said he was not familiar with the make/model of my gate opener and generally seemed disinterested in working on it.He played around with it for less than an hour, then said he would write up an estimate to completely replace it for $2100.00 and charge me $75.00 for the service call. I decided to see if I could fix it myself. Not being a professional gate repairman, I was able to remove the motor/arm assembly and disassemble it. It was a pretty straightforward mechanical device and it was immediately clear what was wrong. I was able to find the part ( limit switch screw ) on line for less than $20.00, re-assembled and re-installed and it's working great. Seems like a professional gate repair person could have done the same, especially from such a highly rated company.Maybe he was just having a bad day, but I'll never use them again.
