We felt we had someone on hand who was an expert, trustworthy, reliable and wasn't just out to make a buck. We'll definitely use them again when we decide to fix the issues with our electronic gate.

Drew is a genius. After coming over three weeks before to get the motor up and running on the poorly installed motorized gate that the previous owners put in, the gate mysteriously stopped working. He was able to come the next day after I called, and showed up promptly. On the previous visit we had discussed how the arm measurements were screwy which was putting undue pressure on the gate mechanism. However, rather than trying to sell me a new gate, or unnecessary services at the time, he straightforwardly told me that unless it became a problem, I didn't need to spend the money. As it turned out, the problem this time had to do with the motor overheating, and it simply needed to be reset. I asked him how I could make sure it wouldn't happen again, he thought about it, and suggested fixing the arms rather than replacing the whole system. He quoted me a very reasonable price, and we agreed he'd come back the next day with his welding gear to fix the arm problem once and for all. Always prompt he spent the morning cutting and re-welding the arms. The gate works like new, opening and shutting smoothly and I have not had a single problem since. Would highly recommend him for any problem - very trustworthy, smart, and a straightforward. Thank you Drew!

They were prompt, professional and provided EXCELLENT service in all these areas. They were a pleasure to deal with, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a similar installation. In our experience, we found gate installers to be a bit flaky, unreliable and expensive. But Pacific provided a fair price with a high quality product that made it well worth the investment!

Scheduled the service. The service was slightly rescheduled by Pacific (I considered this a good sign - that they knew how to call and reschedule!). They gave a 2 hour window and showed up within that window. They determined the cause of the scraping noise right away. Completed the work and did not try to sell me other products or services as previous service companies had. Because of their very reasonable rates, I am more likely to engage their maintenance services on a more responsible schedule. Previous maintenance calls to other companies have cost 2 to 3 times as much causing us to try to delay service until the gates failed. Our next maintenance call will be to Pacific.

He was on time and he did a great job. He only took about twenty to thirty minutes. I thought that the pricing was a bit steep. I would recommend him to others.

Came to diagnose a problem with our front gate. Showed up exactly on time, found the problem, and fixed it without even charging! It was a small reset and they said it only took a few minutes.

I decided to use Pacific Garage Doors and Gates based both the recommendation of my door manufacturer and their good feedback on Angie's List. Drew of Pacific Garage Doors came out to see the area for my gate and gave me a quote over the phone. Drew then scheduled the installation of my gate over the weekend. On the date of installation, two of Drew's employees arrived, and immediately, I didn't get a good feeling about them. They looked at the door and said it was supposed to have holes already drilled for the handle set. I explained that I have had 5 exterior doors installed in the last year and not one of them came with the holes pre-made - that was to be done by the installer. The employees then started complaining about other issues related to the door, that the handle set I chose would not fit (even though box for the handle set clearly stated that the handle set would work on that door thickness). The workers called Drew to see what they should do. Drew told them that he would have ANOTHER employee come out to drill the holes for the handle set. I've had enough work done at my house over the last few years to know that if things don't feel right at the beginning, stop immediately and get someone else. It's not worth it. When they finished their call with Drew, I called him myself and told him that I didn't feel that the people he sent knew what they were doing. I told him I wasn't comfortable having them install the gate. We agreed that the men would pack up and leave. I had another installer put the gate in.

Went great. No reservations. These guys are the real deal.

Was very impressed with the service from beginning to end. Called on a Wednesday and they were able to come out the next morning. Drew showed up promptly and took a look at the gate, immediately identified the problem, and then quoted me a reasonable price. I asked him if he could do it right then, and while I waited he was able to replace a broken chain, and re-bolt the operator (which had rusted loose) to the drive. On top of that he adjusted the arm a bit so it would work better (the previous owner did not have the gate installed properly). All in all extremely happy with the service provided and definitely use them again in the future.

Tom was on time for the estimate, which was very reasonable. He was on time for installation which went well. The crew cleaned up after themselves, did a great job, checked their work and came back a few days later to double-check. I heartily recommend Pacific Garage Doors & Gates. Thank heavens someone forgot to tell them that home repair is normally a nightmare! Our final bill was a tad higher than the estimate, but that's because another part had to be replaced that we'd hoped would work with the new system.

Amazing. They gave me the lowest bid and worked with me to give me exactly what I wanted. They were professional, always on time and did an amazing job. Seriously, go no further for your gate/garage needs.
