We love our opener! Drew was so helpful answering my questions & even gave us a deal with the Internet gateway. Alex & Jose did a great job with installation. They were pleasant & professional.

They were okay. But the issue is occurring again. I don't know if it's the product or the service. They had to take out the electrical board. The electrical board was under warranty. He took it to the actual company. They gave him a whole new one and he came back to install it. Then, they had to come out again because the gate wouldn't open. He came to adjust it. I kind of got frustrated with the guy because the guy started putting down the product. The next time he came, he was nice and courteous. They did lower the price for me. They were agreeable to that.

The office personnel were very nice and knowledgeable. I did not have to wait weeks for an appointment. They arrived on time, installed the new garage door opening, reset the clickers, helped me reset the car and instructed me how to use everything. Perfect and painless. I wish all repairs went this smooth.

The garage door wasn't working properly and decided to give these guys a call to check the problem. The motor was the problem and they said it needed to be replaced so we went ahead and got it replaced. The price wasn't too bad and the service was great so all in all everything was good.

excellent. I'd write more but this annoying Angies list site is messing up and erasing my review and worse, moved all my comments to another provider I didn't even know. Therefore I am not interested in starting the long story over but suffice it to say PACIFIC GATES WITH LIZ ANSWERING THE PHONE (TO MAKE SURE I AM TALKING ABOUT THE RIGHT PROVIDER) totally exceeded our expectations from bid thru end. They came up with the best fixes - it was a challenge - like I said I already wrote it all and have to move on at this point. You will not be disappointed in PACIFIC GARAGE DOORS AND GATES.

We had a complex set of requirements to meet. These included functionality, structure, security, and aesthetics. In particular, we needed to replace an older gate that had been damaged by weather, police chases, and automobile accidents. This gate also adds structural support to a block wall. We needed the gate to fill the trapezoidal gap between the garage and wall and completely block the view into the yard without looking like equipment from a prison. Our vision was a strong welded steel frame with sheet metal to block the view and decorative straight and curved steel bars on the inside and outside. After we had prepared drawings of the structural and artistic concepts, and a detailed set of requirements, we searched Angie's List for a contractor that showed experience with similar designs. Interestingly, we didn't see any, but Pacific seemed to be well equipped to meet the challenge. Pacific listened carefully to our requirements, and we gave them the concept package to think about. They stated that they had never designed a gate of this type and we told them to take their time to think about it. Pacific came back with a structural concept that was both close to what we had envisioned and something they would be comfortable with. They took one of artisitic designs which featured both straight and curved steel tubes and incorporated it into their structural design. After a couple of iterations, they produced a detailed quote that we agreed to. We had attempted to provide them all of the details needed, but they apparently underestimated the work required to excavate the existing gate post. Feeling badly about this, we pitched in to help with extra tools and hands. The Pacific guys didn't complain, and the installation went smoothly after the excavation was complete. The finished product is really, really nice! We were really impressed with Pacific's ability at all stages of the project, and all of their people were just great to work with.

Drew and his team did an excellent job meeting our needs, and showed great professionalism. Initially Drew visited for a consultation and to provide me with an estimate for the work. He provided multiple options so I could choose which features I wanted them to install. Then he and his team came back to complete the measurements for fabrication of the wrought-iron gate, railing, and fence. The installation was completed over two extremely hot days in mid-summer, with no complaints from his team. The gate works great, and the railing and fence look wonderful.

It had come time to replace my 80 year old garage door. After reading the reviews for garage door providers on Angie's List, I selected Pacific Garage Doors. They set a date and time for someone to come look at the job. The person on the phone (Liz) was extremely courteous and helpful. Gustavo came out to look at the job, show me my options and give me a firm estimate ($1385). I contacted Pacific about five days later to accept their estimate and arrange for installation of the door. After checking with the garage door manufacturer, Liz called to set installation for the following Tuesday. I received a call from Liz on Monday, saying that they had just been contacted by the garage door manufacturer and informed that the door would not be ready for installation until Thursday. She apologized profusely for the schedule change. On Thursday, Gustavo and his crew came out to install the door. It took about 4 hours. After installation, it was pretty clear that I would need an automatic garage door opener. Gustavo arranged for installation of the garage door opener ($495), which took place on the following Tuesday. The three workmen (including Gustavo) worked efficiently installing the door. Gustavo installed the opener separately Gustavo made sure that all of my concerns and needs were met. The installation of both the door and the automatic opener went off without a hitch. The door continues to work well.

The iron swing gate for our driveway, which is on an electric system, was not opening and closing all the way, so they came out to service it for $125, which just consisted of a lube and a reset. Sure enough, a couple months later it was still sticking so I called them again. They came out again for another $125 service charge and weren't able to fix it. So $250 down so far without any resolution. They quoted me $2,178 for a whole new system, which I wasn't ready to spend at the moment. Instead, I called another company who came out, replaces the batteries, adjusted the limit switch, threw in a new remote, all for $295. It's working fine 10 months later, so I'm glad I didn't shell out the $2100+ (and wish I had called the other company first).

The entire process went smoothly. Appointment for appraisal was quick and professional. Office staff cordial and efficient. Order for the new door was handled promptly and everything was delivered and installed on time and as promised. Price was exactly what was quoted, with no 'upcharges'. Work crew was great, especially Gustavo the appraiser and installer. Very courteous and professional. Would use them again for any garage door need. Highly recommended.

Amazing. We had no landline service because (according to the phone company), the security entry gates were interfering with the phones. Jim of Pacific came out and had it figured out and fixed in less than an hour! He was great, and also showed us where there were problems with the way the system had been installed initially. We're having the come back to fix a gate hinge as well! Great job - very happy. Thanks Jim!

They installed a LiftMaster. Runs super smooth, very happy. Great service. Highly recommended.

Two men arrived with all tools necessary to do the job. The completed the work quickly and completely. They showed me how to work the device. They cleaned up the work area before they left. Both men were personable and answered my many questions quickly and clearly.

Had to call again to get the springs tweaked once they settled after the installation. The garage door is as good as new

Really fantastic. Drew, the first guy that came out to give me a quite, was super helpful. It took about three weeks for them to construct the gate [it's a custom job, steel frame with a steel post and redwood cladding] and schedule me in. They came out over two days. First day they sank the post [which included pouring concrete] and put up the gate and electric parts. Second day they finished the wiring and put the cladding on the gate. Overall I'm incredibly pleased. The workmanship is really great, both the welding and construction they did ahead of time, and the actual work ay my house. The guys that came out worked with me to do the finishing work exactly as I desired. The price was consistent with what I had been quoted by other providers. It wasn't cheap, but I got what I paid for and would gladly recommend them to others.

The service went very well. I went from a non-automatic gate to an automatic gate. They manufactured a custom design that I wanted.

In general it went well with a couple of hick-ups. First door got damaged in transit which delayed the installation by a couple of weeks -- Installation rep was a little bit late but quick to respond to my phone calls. The installation was done professionally and we are happy with the end results. thank you

Service man indicated that a new garage unit needed to be installed to correct the opening and closing of the garage door properly.

I could not be more pleased with Pacific's service. First call netted a next day appointment between 12:00 and 2:00pm. Technician (Gustavo) arrived 1/2 hour EARLY (11:30am). I thought I needed new springs but Gustavo advised that the motor was burned out. Very old opener so repair was not an option. Gustavo returned later that day and installed a new Liftmaster unit for $495 total (tax and installation included). Replacement took about 1.5 hours and was done perfectly.

The company was great the garage wasn't functioning well called these guys up then they replaced the springs on the door and now the door works really well so problem fixed.

Found these guys on angie's list and so I called them. Got connected with Drew, who came out to my house, took measurements and we discussed what was to be done. We had driveway cement to lay down first so they coordinated with the cement guys and came out at various times to perform their work. From the very beginning, Drew was clear about what they were going to do and how it will go down. There were no surprises. Topnotch installers who were efficient, clean and courteous. Drew was also extremely on top of it. Answered emails promptly. The gate looks amazing. We already had 3 neighbors who have come by and asked for their number. There were a couple of minor issues with the gate (which btw Drew told me beforehand that I might expect to happen w/ wood expanding/contracting to it's new position). One email to Drew, one email back. Next day, the guys were there and the problem fixed. I asked for stain samples. Several samples appeared on my door step the next day, which was saturday btw. From a customer service perspective, I've never expereienced this level of attention from a contractor/landscaper or anybody else who has worked on my house. I asked them about doing my garage door, but after a brief discussion, Drew told me I needed to find a door company and he recommended one, b/c their garage doors didn't have enough insulation for my garage conversion. Very honest in my opinion. I think alot of companies would've just done it. I could go on and on. Top notch company.
