 + -1 moreWe had a leaking bath tub, and Tony fixed it quickly and also showed us where other issues were causing water to leak. It was wonderful to have the situation resolved so quickly, and professionally. Another amazing thing he did was fix a shower that no one had been able to correctly diagnose from the warranty company we were trying to use (American Home Shield). One plumber told us 'nothing is wrong' and a second said 'you have to re-pipe the whole upstairs.' Tony quickly ruled out the problems, and found the broken valve. He is honest, competent, and friendly - something rare in working with most contractors I find. We are so grateful for his help!!

In dealing with him I have found him to be punctual, fair, honest and the quality of his work is very obvious. I'd recommend Tony and National Plumbing for pretty much any job.

Walked through all of our various problems, gave us several options for salutations, and helped us determine the best course of action - which wasn't the most expensive option by far. He ultimately went above and beyond by re-purposing our existing equipment to fix a leaking valve instead of selling us a new one. Fast, friendly, and clean service. I'll definitely use him again.

Description of Work: This is my second time using Tony and National plumbing. The first time was about three years ago when I bought a new home, and had a problem with the pressure regulator. Found the company on Angies list, impressed by the reviews and called him out. He arrived as scheduled, very professional, checked everything out, and fixed the problem. Also informed me regarding other matters including the water heater, and sprinkler system. The most recent service was performed on 11/7/14. The evening of 11/5/14 noticed there was no water pressure on my kitchen sink, but pressure in every other faucet throughout the home was pressurized. Contacted the company, a very nice lady took down my information, and within about an hour, I spoke with Tony, how diagnosed the problem over the phone. He gave me the option of buying a new faucet for install, or fixing problem with existing faucet. I informed him I would purchase a new faucet, and he worked with my work scheduled and Performed the install that Friday. There was also another problem with some of the routing of the pipes under my sink, and I asked Tony about it, due to have a leak issue. Tony did not hesitate to retrieve a diagram of a tipical arrangement, and pointed out to me where the initial install went wrong. He quoted me a price, fixed the faucet, and that was that. In the new year I will be addressing the issue under the sink, and installing a new water heater, and I would not contact any other plumber than Tony and National Plumbing.

 + -1 moreTony Sarkisyan is the plumber who came out. I don't know how many people work for National, but Tony is fantastic. He's pleasant, intelligent, and someone I had full and immediate confidence in. He is the only person I'll call from now on.
Description of Work: Our new washing machine was making a tremendous amount of noise. Loud banging that could be heard throughout the house. They installed two water arresters and fixed the problem.

 + -1 moreTony arrived today to clean out my kitchen/laundry room line since I had flooding on Sat. evening and didn't want want any more problems. Tony came on time to clean out the line. He is very courteous and wears protective shoe coverings to keep from tracking in outside dirt. Tony also recently repaired a leak in one of my shower heads and also replaced a part in one of my toilets. Tony is the 1st person I would call if I have any plumbing problems.
Description of Work: Tony cleaned out my kitchen/laundry room line today since I had a major flood on Sat. evening. The whole laundry room was flooded with water so I wanted to have the line cleaned out to prevent any more mishaps.

 + 0 moreThe tenant at my rental property informed me that the master toilet continued to back up - despite several clean outs and replacement of the entire sewer about a year ago. I was hesitant to call my previous plumber as I believe he vastly overcharged for the sewer line replacement. So, I went to Angie's List (and Yelp) in search of a new plumber and am so glad I did - because, thanks to other positive reviews, I found Tony (and his assistant, Jose) with National Plumbing. Tony arrive the next morning after I called and quickly assessed that the old low-flow toilet was no longer doing its job properly and recommended a new one - to which I agreed. Tony left to purchase a replacement low-flow toilet, returned quickly and in less than an hour, my tenant had the flushing power she was lacking. I had such a positive experience working with Tony that I actually called him the next day to fix my own leaking toilets, which another plumber failed to accomplish despite multiple attempts. Tony quickly assessed the issues, repaired and replaced the problem parts and my toilets have finally stopped wasting water. Tony is now my new go-to plumber and I could not be more satisfied with the timeliness and quality of his service. Thanks, Tony - it was a pleasure to work with you (though hope I don't need to call upon you too often ...) !!

He handled finding the exact model and color, showed up on time with a helper on the day of installation. They were so neat and quiet, and put on shoe covers so as not to walk on the clean floors.  + 1 moreTony Sarkisian and his crew arrived timely on a Saturday morning and started by identifying, via a camera inserted through the roof vent, where to access the main sewer line. His crew dug up a 6ft trench in what seemed record time. Upon further inspection of where the main line would join to the city sewer, Tony also found more roots from an existing magnolia tree. He gave us a couple of scenarios and options one of them cheaper and more temporary but still effective for some time. Though one of the options doubled the price of the job, we felt that he knew what he was doing and what he was talking about and decided to complete the job in the right way. They completed the job, compacted the dirt and cleaned up. He guaranteed his work for 5 years. Tony and his crew were prompt, thorough and professional. We would definitely call him again for any other plumbing problems that may arise in the future. We highly recommend him!

 + 1 moreTony went over all my options for replacing my old tank water heater. Whether it was to get another tank water heater or a tankless water heater. He presented all the facts without trying to sway me one way or another. I thought his pricing was competitive and he is really knowledgeable. He worked with me on figuring out the optimal location for the tankless water heater and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. On the day of the install, Tony and Jose worked tirelessly to install the water heater. The hot water works flawlessly and I couldn't be happier. Tony also spent a considerable amount of time coordinating with the LA County inspector to make sure all the permits are signed off and good to go. I wouldn't hesitate to use Tony again in the future. For projects, I typically will have to make several bids and talk to a lot of different people to get a good sense of who to use and what my options are. With Tony, I feel that he is honest and I don't doubt that he would do a great job for a fair price.
Description of Work: Tony has been helping me with my plumbing needs over the past 5 years. Recently, he installed a new tankless water heater and it works flawlessly. This involved running a gas line underneath the house, new electrical to the unit, and installing the unit.
