Description of Work: Contacted provider left a message stating that I found the provider on Angie's list as I am a member and I'd like to have an appointment tomorrow to unclog a drain in my bathroom from the bathtub and sink. I received a callback an hour later and was told they would be ABLE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT NEXT Tuesday 9/3/13. I GUESS I WAS SUPPOSE TO BATH OUTSIDE UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY.

Description of Work: Came to service my Noritz tankless hot water heater. Called and left a message and Tony returned the call within one-half hour. He said he was in the area and would come by within the hour. He did. Very efficient and personable. He descaled the machine and checked everything out. Knows what he is doing; very professional. Will definitely have him take care of my Noritz in the future.

Description of Work: I had a bit of emergency. The main water pipe in the front of my house had broken. I called my home warranty program to put in an emergency order. They explained that since it was outside the house, they didn't cover it. With the water shut off to my house, I scrambled to find a plumber who could come out that same day. Everybody was completely booked, including Tony. Understanding my panic, Tony rearranged his appointments so he could come out and see me at the end of the day. Tony showed up on time, was very nice, professional, and very accommodating. I've never had a better experience with any plumber. Tony's my phone from now on!!! Thank you so much, Tony.

Description of Work: I had an earthquake shutoff valve installed on my gas meter. The plumber was good in explaining what he was doing, why he needed to change a part to be able to perform the task and he showed me what to do in case of an earthquake. He was prompt and did the job quickly.

Description of Work: I called Tony , owner of National Plumbing ,his answering service took the message .Tony called back within 10 minutes . I explained the problem with my Noritz tankless water heater . Tony scheduled an appointment for the next day . Tony himself came out , exaimend the water heater and explained the problem . He explained that the unit was 12 years old and the heat vent was improperly installed and the wrong one on top of that . Fan could also be a problem . He thought replacing the 2 could possibly remedy the problem . In all actuality the heater needed replacing but Tony was trying to get me out more in-expensively rather than spend the money on a new water heater . This would of gotten me by for maybe 2 years but I decideded to go ahead and replace the unit ..... Tony still went over my options carefully which really impressed me as he could of just as well said " Great - we will replace it " . Tony and National Plumbing exceeded my expectations . So much so that I gave his contact info to a Contractor I am working for presently and told the Contractor THIS is is plumber you have been looking for . I believe the Contractor gave him a job the next day. Tony and National Plumbing are THE COMPANY TO USE ! Polite - Caring - On Time - Reasonbale Costs - Don't look any further if you need a great plumber . Tony and National Plumbing are it .

Description of Work: Tony arrived at the agreed upon time and did the work at the agreed upon price. He presented himself in a professional manner and appearance. I recommend his services and will be using him for future plumbing issues.

Description of Work: I first contacted Tony with his "Angie's List Deal" to flush the tankless water heater for $89. He was punctual and professional. I then discussed the fact that my water took so long to get hot and he suggested the problem was that the heater was too far from the bathroom , which is the place that the problem was most annoying. I arranged with him to come back and move the water heater to another wall of my home to fix the problem. He charged $1,200 which I felt was fair, as he spent the entire day, with a helper trying to resolve the problem. The problem, however, was not resolved. He called me the next morning to check in, which I appreciated. We made an appointment for him to return and he assured me he would get to the root of the problem (which I also appreciated). It turns out that I had more than one tankless water heater, so he had to do some shuffling and rearranging of the two. He charged me an additional $300. It resolved the problem. He also picked up a water filter for my instant hot and called when he was in the neighborhood to drop it off and install it. Tony is easy to deal with, reliable and honest. I will definitely use his service again.

Description of Work: I know I have written before, but we have had Tony, National Plumbing, many times in the last few months and he is fantastic. They have put in a new sewer line (approximately 120 ft to the street), installed hot water tank, bathroom faucets, fixed a toilet, fixed many sprinkler and irrigation problems, installed submeter and pressure regulator, and in general fixed many other things that have come up. He is always very pleasant and responsive.
