On time, polite, very clear about what he thought needed to be fixed, didn't try to sell us services or items we didn't need.

I cannot say enough good things about Tony. He does outstanding work at fair prices; he is responsive, clean and articulate, he came right on time and he was empathetic to my situation. He is fast: I called his answering service when the flood happened at 11 p.m. on a Saturday night and he called me back within 9 minutes and was able to come to my home on a SUNDAY morning at 9:30 a.m.!! He is a real "keeper" of a professional and you should feel confident in using, and recommending, him when you speak with your friends.

I contacted Tony at National Plumbing to repair a burst hot water pipe in my garage. The complication was that I used the garage only for storage and apparently before the pipe actually burst it had been leaking for quite some time unnoticed. I'm embarrassed to say that he could hardly even get to the pipe damage for all the junk stored in the place. It didn't phase Tony. He repaired the burst pipe and advised that get an upgrade. As a single woman homeowner I'm really suspect of repairmen and contractors, having been "fleeced" before but the upgrade he recommended was a mere $38.00 for a timer on my recirculating pump which would cut back on the wear and tear to the pipes circulating hot water from the garage all the way to the back of the house. I asked Tony if he knew of a company that could get rid of the tons of waterlogged stuff in the garage. He arranged for a large dumpster and had the entire garage clean out - ten years worth of junk finally gone. He also installed several large fans for a few days to dry out the garage. Tony is very professional and courteous. I plan to hire him for more jobs in the future and will recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

We were in a bind, our water heater exploded, flooded our basement and knocked out the water heater. We found that due to new codes we couldn't put a water heater back in the basement unless we vented to the 2nd story roof at considerable cost. Tony suggested a tank-less water heater mounted outside, which solved our venting problem. While it was more money than installing an old fashioned water heater, we ended up with a good solution and new technology. Tony kept us updated on the progress of the work and there were no "surprises". It came in at estimate and he is a pleasure to deal with. We liked him so much we had him replace some outdated fixtures in a 2nd bathroom which he did quickly and again within estimate. Tony is professional and very good at what he does. He is our go to guy!

My tub faucet was leaking...a lot, I called National and they said they'd have someone call me back within the half hour. Tony called me back within the half hour, I told him about the leak and asked him how much to come look at it, he told me there was no charge! I said when can you be here? He gave me a time and was here on time. He looked at my faucet quoted me a price if he needed to just get a washer and another price if he needed to get these valve thingies. Then he reminded me if I belonged to Angie's List I could use a 25.00 off coupon! Turns out he had to get the valve thingies. He went to buy them, they were more expensive than he thought they'd be but since he'd already quoted me the price he said I didn't have to pay more. The work was done in about 1/2 hour, he cleaned up after himself and was very personable and professional. Since this review I've had Tony back for other plumbing problems. I will never use another plumber, his honesty, reasonable prices and quality work is something I've come to count on. I highly recommend National Plumbing.

Water started coming up from our toilet and shower drains after we ran the washing machine. Since we had a pool of water on our bathroom floor, we needed help asap. I spoke with a rep at National Plumbing on a Sunday afternoon, and Tony called me back within a few minutes. He came within the time frame he stated (within the hour). Tony asked us a few diagnostic questions and figured out our issue quickly. He gave us two options to address the problem, and we chose the more thorough option, which was to pull the toilet up and root, rather than going through an outside pipe entry way. After vacuuming and rooting, Tony pointed out where the pipe clog was under the house. He reinstalled the toilet and cleaned up our bathroom. We will definitely call National Plumbing again if we have other plumbing issues.

Tony did a great job, was knowledgeable, and completely professional. He even had a shop vac to clean up after his work, and that was much appreciated. We would use him again, and are glad to have found him.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience working with National Plumbing. We had just bought a 1941 house and I believe the plumbing was original. There was very little volume through the galvanized pipes, so we decided to re-plumb the entire house in copper. We got a few quotes and after diligent Angie’s List research, Tony stood out since he had great reviews, was willing to work with our budget and guaranteed that his work will be of the best quality. His team was very professional the entire time. They showed up on time, kept the house as clean as possible (difficult, considering walls had to be opened up, then repatched), used quality products the whole way through and was done in the 2 days as promised. After the work was done, he made sure to stay for the inspection and address any questions or concerns the inspector had. This was very critical considering the questions that were asked went right over my head and I would have been lost without him. For the couple minor comments that were generated, Tony immediately remedied the issues and made sure the inspection passed with flying colors. Since that major job, we have called Tony for a new tankless water heater, minor service calls and even just some advice. Each time he has been very generous with his time and expertise. He has really developed into a trusted, lifetime resource!

TONY AND HIS CREW AWAYS SHOWED UP ON TIME, DID EXCELLENT WORK,CLEANED UP AFTER EVERY VISIT AND COMPLETED THE JOB AND ALWAYS PASSED INSPECTIONS.

Tony did a really great job. The entrance to my bathroom presented some real challenges for the new shower unit he needed to get in there, but he was able to get it in through the window - and then when the unit was a little wide for the available space, he worked with the unit cutting it down to make it work for my space. -- I was so happy with Tony's professionalism and customer service that when an unrelated plumbing problem occurred a couple of weeks later, I immediately thought to give him a call and see if he could come out first thing in the morning to deal with it before I had to go to work. Not surprisingly, he was happy to do that, and he was at my door promptly at the time expected. I'd highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a good plumber.

Tony replied very quickly to my call and was available sooner than the other vendors I had contacted. He was prompt, professional, friendly and punctual. His bid was very reasonable and my boss had him do the work right then and there. She's very VERY happy with his work. We'll be using Tony again in the future.

I called the service and they answered the phone within 2 rings. The operator took my information and description of the problem and told me a call would be dispatched. With in 5 minutes Tony returned the call and scheduled a 1 hour window. Tony arrived 10 minutes into the window, he was very courteous and put on protective booties before entering the house. Took a look at the problem and provided me with an estimate. He completed the work in approximately 30 minutes. After he confirmed the sink was draining correctly, He cleaned up the mess that was under the sink. After he took removed his equipment, he proceeded to clean the kitchen floor to make sure no mess was left from his work. I was very happy with his service and have already scheduled an appointment for him to install a new reverse osmosis water filtration system in a week.

After hearing about reverse osmosis system, I decided to do some research on it. I had received a flyer from National Plumbing and decided to give them a call to find out more information. Tony returned my call right away and was able to properly explain how the system works and the difference between reverse osmosis and the carbon filter I had at home. We made an appointment for that week and he was extremely prompt and professional when he arrived. It took him no more that one hour to do the installation. I also purchased a tool from him which measures the water purity so I know when to change the filter. Overall it went very well and the best part was that he was able to explain everything in simple terms instead of using technical vocabulary.
