Tony was so great. He said that he would go to Home Depot and get me a new one, so we looked up Home Depot on my computer and cllcked on Kohler faucets; found one that I liked and was in my price range. He called me from Home Depot to let me know that the model I had picked was only sold online. He told me about another that we had seen that cost $40.00 more and I told him to buy it. He came right back to my house and installed it. Not only did he do great work, he left everything impeccable, which I really appreciated. The fact that he got it done in two hours was incredible. I am so happy with the work that Tony did. I will only use Narional Plumbing form now on. They are honest, hard working and know their stuff. I received a 10% discount off of the labor because used Angie's list. I highly recomment them, and if you can get Tony to come to your house, you will be so pleased! Great job!!

Went great - he was running a few minutes late but called me to let me know. Once there he set about his work and completed it promptly and professionally. I'll use them again.

Ever since Tony and his assistant Armen came to the rescue when my drains backed up in March, I have used them four times, with this week's issue being a pesky leak from a bathroom shower stall onto my dining room ceiling below. Everyone, except Tony, wrongly assumed it was because the shower pan was defective (which I had a hard time believing since it was only 5 years old). Tony was able to find the leak with in the hot water handle and saved me hundreds of dollars: the handle was easily fixed, saving me from ripping out beautiful tile and potentially leaving my bathroom unusable for weeks. Bravo, Tony!

We were impressed with Tony's professionalism. I called last night at 9pm to find out if he was available to give us an estimate. An operator answered our call and within a few minutes Tony called me back to schedule a time. This morning he called to let me know that he was done with a job earlier than he expected and was able to come sooner than the time agreed upon. As soon as he came over I described the problems and he gave us a very reasonable estimate and got started right away. Our main drain pipes were clogged due to roots that caused our toilets and tubs to overflow. As he was explaining what he was doing and the problems he came across it was evident that he is knowledgeable in his trade. I appreciate how well he was able to communicate the problem and possible solutions. He suggested that he run a camera to view the main problem but he didn't pressure us and he gave us a very reasonable price in running the camera down our pipes. While he was running the camera he was very patient and informative since it looks like we have a bigger problem than we had originally anticipated. He gave us and estimate and did not pressure us at all to use his services to replace parts of our main pipes that are damaged and filled with thicker roots that a regular snake can't solve. This will have to be another project. We've used 2 other plumbers in the past and Tony was by far the most personable and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him. My shower had been dripping slightly for a week. Suddenly, the leak became worse. I called National Plumbing in Van Nuys. Tony made an appointment to come to my home at 5:30PM to look at the shower. He need to replace the fixtures that turn off the water. At approximately 6:00PM , Tony left to purchase new fixtures. He then came back, installed the new fixtures and completed the job. Not only did he do a fine job, but he cleaned up the mess from his work that had fallen on my shower floor. I will certainly use National Plumbing in Van Nuys again.

Tony came out to snake a line that was causing flooding in our washroom. He was punctual, professional, and friendly. While he was here he identified a gas leak (showing me how to fix it), identified a water pressure issue (without pressuring me to fix it with him- he actually gave me advice on how to do it myself) and quickly removed a minor clog in the kitchen sink (for free!). He honored the Angie's List 10% coupon and left me feeling very satisfied. Whether I'm dealing with a mechanic, a plumber, or any other professional, my mentality is that I'm not just looking to solve an immediate problem- I'm looking for someone to join my team. Tony's level of customer service shows that he truly gets that message, and I will be calling him in the future. Thank you Angie's List- you found me a great plumber!

When he arrived at the door and put hospital covers on his shoes, i knew we had found the right guy! I also knew when he called me back after I initially left a message around 1 pm and said, "Hi - this is Tony - how can i help?" It was just like all of the Angie's List postings which is where i found National Plumbing. This was a simple job but I'm bringing him back in about a month to troubleshoot a leaking upstairs shower and I'll report back then. Thanks to everyone else for their helpful posts and recommendations.

All plumbing jobs that we needed to address were pursued by Tony cheerfully, quickly, and skillfully. This man is a true professional. I have since called National Plumbing back for Tony to do more work for us at our rental houses, and on our personal residence. Tony is knowledgable, bright, tidy (meticulously so), fast, and his prices are fair. I consider him my new go-to plumbing professional for whatever the problem might be.

Tony and his helper were more than anxious to help in any way. Just set to work to fix things even though we had not expected the problems we ran into. Tony was always available when needed e.g., when the water was turned back on and there was a problem with the toilet filling, he came right back. They did a fantastic job all in about a day and a half. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing or sprinkler work.

Tony was able to make an appointment for the same day I called - as he has for every subsequent call. He was on time, very polite (insisted on wearing protective booties any time he was in the house) talked my husband and me through all of our options to resolve the problem. There was absolutely no pressure to go with the big ticket solution. My husband has a nose for people who are phony, and he felt completely comfortable with Tony's attitude, work and professionalism. We have struck out soooo badly with plumbers, and I am THRILLED that we have finally found our go to guy!!!! Thank you, Tony!

The person who came out was Tony. He was great. He was very responsive. He is very courteous. He is very nice. The quality of the work was very good. There was actually a product defect in the circulating pump and it was not his fault. I got a brand new circulating pump again and he happily came back and fixed it and everything was perfect and great. I would use his service in the future too.

Tony showed a few mins. eraly and was clean and ready to work. He installed a new garbage disposal and dishwasher. his work was clean and neat. He is the best. I will be useing National Pluming again.

I got someone on the phone immediately (at 6:30 AM), was called promptly by a technician to schedule, and he was at my house at 9. Everyone I interacted with was very polite. It wasn't a complicated job, but I appreciated that the technician cleaned up and checked everything carefully. The work came with a 90-day warranty.

Tony and his brother and helper arrived promptly at 8 a.m. and worked till 7 pm to be sure my kitchen and bath were usable that night. Returned promptly next morning and finished entire job by 2:30 pm. They were CLEAN, courteous, honest and helpful. Tony returned after inspection to be sure all was well (it was), and at that point repaired the drain pipe. Previously he took a camera under the house and took photo of corroded pipe; then he made sure to show me the damaged pipe after he removed it. He even helped me figure out how to program my Rainbird and get the sprinklers working again. He also gave me a generous senior discount! I would recommend him to friends and family with complete confidence.

Tony at National Plumbing installed an earthquake shutoff valve on our gas meter. We selected this company as a result of an Angie's List "Big Deal". There was initial confusion about the appointment time which Tony graciously re-scheduled to accommodate our needs. He was prompt and completed the installation within the estimated time. After the installation was completed, Tony was checking to be sure that all gas appliances restarted. He alerted me to corrosion evident on our hot water heater which was still within warranty. Since the tank was in our garage, we hadn't noticed the problem. Thankfully, we have been able to replace the tank while it was still under warranty. Tony had no obligation to bring that to our attention and we surely appreciated it.

The shower wouldn't shut off one day, and found Tony through Angie's List. Tony arrived on time and quickly recognized the valve was broken. He offered alternatives, and we chose to order an original replacement. Tony followed up on the order and called to return when the part came in. Then he checked the household water pressure and reduced it to prevent future problems. He did a great job!

He was very prompt. He called me within a few hours of me buying that service. He came within the week and installed it. He was really good and quick. I spent $289 on that work. The job went very well. He was very conscientious. He came, explained everything to me and was great. He was very good. I was very happy with how fast he came. I was really impressed.

My initial phone call was returned within about 5 minutes and an appointment to deal with the problem was made for later that morning. Tony showed up within the designated time window and quickly helped me assess my options. I decided to try the roto-rooter option, which only took him about 10 minutes to do. It worked. He moved the washer and dryer into place and checked all the connections to make sure everything was secure. It's important to mention that I'm a repeat customer who called on National Plumbing again to do additional (different) work because I was happy with them the first time. Tony's a very pleasant person with whom to do business.

My initial phone message was returned within 10 minutes of placing the call. They came by to do a free estimate of the job and were forthcoming about price and my options for handling the problems. They showed up on time on the scheduled day. They were polite, and respectful of me and my home. They worked efficiently. The old bathtub drains were really difficult to remove but there was no complaining by them about this. The screw holding one of the bathtub overflow drains was essentially completely disintegrated which could have meant a very costly repair but Tony very skillfully drilled out enough of the disintegrated bits to enable removal of the old overflow drain and installation of the new one without having to open up walls which would have made the repair much more expensive. They wore the little booties while in the house so they didn't track debris all over the place and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. I was charged exactly what had been estimated and Tony even noticed when I misread the bottomline total and initially "overwrote" the check. He corrected my error and saved me $20 in the process. This is an excellent business. Competent, honest, respectful, responsible. Can't ask for more than that.

The work went perfectly and they were very good. They were fast, efficient, courteous and clean. I would definitely use them again.
