Everything went very well. Tony was on time and very careful about our floors wearing shoe protectors. We let him know that it wasn't necessary, but were impressed that he was going to. He first went out back and very quickly replaced some faucet things and fixed the backyard faucet. He then worked on the wash machine replacing the valves and hoses while his assistant worked on the kitchen sink. They needed some parts for the kitchen sink and checked to make sure it was okay for them to go get them and return (it was). Finished the kitchen sink, then checked the downstairs bathroom sink and fixed the leak. Next were the bathroom sinks upstairs. One wasn't able to be fixed so we discussed getting a new faucet. After he left, the hot water in the kitchen sink just started to run, so we turned it off and called Tony. Then the same thing happened to the cold water and we shut it off too. Tony came back shortly and replaced the defective parts and everything's been perfect since. We ended up getting 3 new faucets and Tony came back a few weeks later, after we had purchased the faucets, and installed them.

My call was answered by a message service, but the company called me back in about 5 minutes. He stated he would send someone within the hour and gave me the man's name. He arrived within 45 minutes. Although they had a great deal on Angie's list at the time, I felt it a bit unfair to use it, knowing the difficulty of the task at hand. However, they had a 10% discount for Angie's List customers anyway, and that seemed a good compromise. It took the plumber two tries using two different snakes and sure enough the second one fixed the clog and also got stuck and took a long time to remove. The plumber was patient and polite throughout and did a great job. He also gave me some advice on researching where the tricky joint in the pipes might be that was causing the problem.

I felt very good about his services and I recommend him to someone else.

They showed up on time, explained to me how it worked and all of the parts. It was fine. I didn't price around, but it seemed to be a fair price. He gave me a range of time he would come.

Tony does good work; he is polite, clean, responsive ... a plumbing professional. The Angie's List Coupon I purchased to install an Earth Quake Gas Shut-off Valve "small print" stated it applied to 3/4" pipe; I found out I needed 1-1/4" pipe for my home. The cost increased to $439 vs. $289, which I had paid for the Coupon. I believe the Coupon should have stated clearly what the price would be if a 1-1/4" pipe were needed. I was disturbed my price increased 52% due to the larger valve size .... and I thought I had already paid for the work by buying the Coupon. The 2nd Coupon I purchased to install the Earth Quake Gas Shut-off Valve for my rental applied as-is because the valve size was 3/4". Tony would not negotiate on the price increase to move from a 3/4" valve to a 1-1/4" valve and said a portion of the money I paid for the Coupon goes to Angie's List. My conclusion, using a Coupon can cost more than you think ... so Let Buyer Beware.

I thought it was going to be a much more complicated job than just a clogged drain. I thought it was going to be a more involved problem. They were great. Tony came out and only charged me to unclog my drain. He gave me a deal and the problem was fixed. He even gave me good advice on some other things around my house. He was really helpful. Angies List gave him a good recommendation is why I called him. I really, really enjoyed his service when he came out. I have nothing but good things to say. The price was a good deal. He made it quick and easy. He was in and out in about 20 or 30 minutes.

He was a very nice guy and a nice van. I just feel mislead and scammed. Once he told me I would be "taken care of" I was lured in to believing that I really would be. I will not be using this company in the future.

They wanted $70 just to come and give me an estimate on my remodel? Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a lot.

I wish there were a rating higher than 'A'!! After much research and many bids, I decided to have National Plumbing replace my old water heater. From the first time I called to get a bid the project, Tony was professional, courteous and efficient. Every time I called the office and they contacted him to call me, he did so very quickly. Tony also took his time in explaining my options and exactly what was involved in installing a tankless or tank water heater. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and presents the information in an easy-to-understand fashion. After deciding on the product I wanted, Tony accommodated my last-minute request, and was able to install the new unit that afternoon. He and his partner finished the project in just 2 hours, cleaned up immaculately and showed my how to use the tank. After 10 years of using adequate plumbers, I've now found perfection. I will certainly use Tony and National Plumbing for many years for all projects.

Tony was efficient in every way. He responded to my email to set up an appointment quickly, showed up right on time and was very professional. We had the water heater flushed about one year ago by another plumber, and did NOT notice a big improvement in performance. When I saw the Big Deal coupon, I thought it was an economic way to try again with a new plumber. We have a small home with a tankless unit installed about six years ago. It was working great up until about 18 months ago when we noticed hot water was taking a long time to heat up, especially in the morning. Occasionally, the temperature would fluctuate for no reason when taking a shower. Tony and I chatted a few moments and he said he would check into my complaints. He said he also had the same unit installed in his own home so he had personal knowledge of the unit. He flushed the unit which took about 1 hour. (His pump broke when he first started and he had to run out to buy a new one---a total fluke. He was very apologetic.) He finished up and that was that. As of this morning, the water temp heated up much quicker (about half the time it was taking). I'm not sure what Tony did differently from the first plumber, but it worked. Great job! I highly recommend Tony.

It was more expensive than i thought although the quality was good.

We contacted Tony as a result of his being listed in the little monthly booklet we receive from Angie's list. I contacted his company and Tony called us within 15 minutes, quoted us a price for the work, and offered to pick up the toilets from our supplier if needed. I ended up doing that myself since I wanted to see them, but it was a nice offer. Tony showed up on time and was meticulous and conscientious as possible. Wore protective booties for the whole job, every time he came into the house, cleaned everything to its original or better state and patiently explained everything he did. He even worked his visit so that he could go get needed parts while I picked up my son from school, then met us back at our home to finish off. Great experience, would definitely use Tony again.

I initially contacted National Plumbing in response to an Angie's List Deal for the installation of a gas shut off valve. I was contacted immediately and a date was set for the installation (9/20/11). Tony (the company's owner) arrived promptly with another man, completed the work in a timely and efficient manner even after encountering difficulty drilling into the brick on my house. Because he was easy to talk with and responsive to my inquiries, I asked him to take a look at other plumbing concerns I had. One of the concerns he handled right away, namely changing the inside partsof a toilet that wasn't working properly and at no or minimum charge (I can' recall). I then decided to hire the company to repipe the house, something I had been putting off for years. We scheduled the work to begin after I returned from a trip. On the agreed upon date, Tony and several others arrived promptly, began to work and completed the job in a day. All workmen were efficient, courteous, helpful and accommodating. The clean up was remarkably thorough. Tony, himself, was exceptionally responsive, answering any questions I had and explaining aspects of the project. Finally, I asked Tony to install a new toilet. Because I wanted a non standard toilet, he and I exchanged several e-mails about mypreferences and he was always responsive to even the smallest question or request. This project was completed on December 15, 2011 and included a couple of other minor plumbing concerns I had. There are very few companies and/or people about whom I have written or given glowing reports. And, since I've lived in this house for over 40 years, you can imagine how many house concerns I have dealt with. National Plumbing (Tony, specifically) is someone I recommend without reservation.

Tony Was punctual,very professional and really listened to our needs. He was fair with pricing, quick and did a great job. Very courteous,efficient and would certainly recommend calling him, If you need a really good plumber.

I called the office and told them my problems. Tony called me back within 30 minutes. We arranged to meet 2 hours later at my house. He was 10 minutes early. From the time he arrived until the time he left he was very professional. He gave me the estimate and gave me a few options as to what he could do. He completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time and left his work areas very clean. Fantastic job and I would use them again if I need plumbing work.

Fantastic service - our gas had been shut off by the gas company because of a leak they would not fix. But National came right away, and got the leak repaired so we could get our gas back on that day. And the price was fantastic, especially with the deal for flushing our hot water heater. Glad to have found a great plumber.

Tony was great from start to finish. I called his service on a Sunday evening noting that my main sewer line was clogged. He called right back and we arranged to meet the following day. He was on time and clear about his recommendations and pricing. He replaced our sewer line without any problems. We've tried a few plumbers over the past few years with middling results, so I'm happy to report that we've finally found our go-to guy for the future.

He did a great job! He was prompt and on time and cleaned up afterwards. I was very satisfied and will use him again.

This was the first time I used National Plumbing and used them because I bought an Angie's List coupon for tankless water heater maintenance. Tony and his assistant arrived early, explained why service was needed at least once a year, and did a 40 minute flush. I could tell he knew what he was doing and liked the work he was doing, so while he was waiting for the flush to complete, I showed him the other issues I had, described above. He looked at the other problems and gave me prices for each as I showed them to him. He is very friendly and professional. He worked carefully and cleaned up so there was virtually nothing to clean after he left. He had to go to a supplier to get the regulator and came back within 40 minutes and installed it very efficiently. Tony will ask if he has any questions about how you want something done, as opposed to just doing it the easiest way. I will use him again and have already told some friends about his work.
