I signed up for a tankless water heater maintenance service through Angies list on 6/22/2012 and was charged $89.00. On 9/20/2012 at noon, I called National Plumbing to set an appointment. Spoke with Tony who said he would call me back. Shortly after, he did call back and said he would be at my house between 10 - 11 on 9/25/2012. I accepted the appointment. He arrived at 10:30 on 9/25/2012 as promised. He was clean and neatly dressed, not in the manner previous plumbers have appeared. I showed him where the tankless water heater was located, and he proceeded to hook up his equipment. He stayed an hour. During that time, he cleaned and flushed the system and checked the water flow through my faucets. He was very polite and responsively answered my questions. After he left, in having a drink of water from my kitchen faucet, I tasted a strange 'flavor'. I called Tony, and he assured me that no toxic materials were used during the 'flushing' process and the water will be alright soon. That was true! I was pleased with this service from Tony and based on this feeling, would consider him strongly for any future plumbing work.

Tony the owner showed up on time and he smelled good! He did everything he said he would in a timely manner and he couldn't have been nicer or more professional.

Every step of the way Tony was punctual, responsive, communicative, thoughtful and creative. During the quote he spent a couple of hours onsite educating me and discussing options. I called him a few times with questions and he responded quickly. We decided to sawcut the concrete to extend an existing center driveway grass strip then tunnel to the connection point. When done the driveway looked as if the strip was there all along. His guys were skilled paid attention to detail and were great to work with. Tony was onsite for the entire project. He was very patient helping me with mid project decisions and answering my stream of questions. The project was completed earlier than estimated and $500 under the quote. While here he discovered and fixed a leaky toilet valve and bad drain "Y" at no charge. HIs crew cleaned up everything beautifully. This is one of the few times that I have been completely thrilled with a contractor. Thank you Tony!!

He was wonderful. He'll be the man from now on and I've never found a plumber like him and I would definitely call him again. He called to let me know exactly when he would be there, on time, arrived as he said he would, he did a great job and got the job done. He was efficient and I thought his price is really reasonable.

Tony is a unique find: responsive, on-time, highly skilled and with suggestions that will save you money. We needed a faucet replaced in our laundry room and he did so quickly after first seeing if he could salvage the pre-existing one. We also asked him to check one of the toilets in the house, to make sure no roots were blocking the water flow. He made some great suggestions on how best to manage this problem and made sure all was clear. One gets the impression that Tony is on your side, to give you the best service and the most cost effective recommendations.

After having constant problems for years with sewage backups in our five unit rental, we decided to bite the bullet and have it taken care of. We intended to get three estimates. The first company we called came over and scoped everything out, and we had to call twice before they sent us the written estimate. We called another company, they came out, and even though we left messages and sent emails, we never received an estimate. While we were waiting, we called Tony at National Plumbing, and not only did we get an estimate immediately, he actually called us to follow up a few days later. His estimate was almost half the price of the first company's--he felt he could solve the problem without going to the extreme lengths the first company recommended, and even suggested we break it up into a couple of stages, and see if the first stage would take care of our most immediate problems. But even if he had come in higher than the first company, I think I would have hired him because he sent his estimate promptly and followed up--in other words, he acted as if he wanted us to hire him. Because of the rainy weather, the job stretched out over a couple of weeks--I think he and his team worked for a total of four days--but they were professional, communicative, got the job done, cleaned up after themselves, and were conscientious about covering their trenches and coning off the work area to prevent any accidents. I would both recommend them and gladly use them again.

We had arranged several different vendors to come that day at specific times to do specific jobs. He called ahead and it turned out to be more practical for both of us for him to come earlier. Very professional and helpful. Had brand name replacement parts to fix the toilet - did not have to worry about getting some unknown brand that could be a problem. All in all a great job.

It started with a damp spot on the sidewalk. The damp spot grew into a puddle. I grew nervous, but as it is January, I hoped against common sense that it was weather related rather than a leak until the 700 dollar LA department of empty the bank account bill came in. I went out and looked more closely at the wet spot and there was a clean spot in the center with a small fountain in it. I am surprised passing ducks and geese had not taken up residence. I opened Angies's list, in earnest, for the first time since I subscribed and looked through the local ads. I found one with good reviews and made a call figuring others liked him, perhaps I will. The lady who answered the phone was polite, professionals and took a message. I was told Tony would call back as soon as he was available. Within an hour He callled and ran by my houe while I was at work and came up with an estimate The next pleasant surprise, after such nice people to deal with, was the price. It was less than what I had guessed it would be. He came by, and we agrees on a start time. The day of the job, I felt as if I could have set my watch by Tony and his crew. at the top of the hour, there was a knock and they were ready to start. There was no dragging around with a coffee cup waking up still, everyone was energetic and ready to work ( I should take a lesson from these guys)! I took off for work and when I returned, the bulk of the work was done. they had taken great care to minimize lawn recovery. The mess of pipes at the front of the house had been reworked into something that was not an eyesore, but a pleasant addition. I no longer feel i have to hide my plumbing with a box. These guys take great pride in their workmanship and are master craftsmen. I will have them back again.

We recently bought this house and knew from the inspection that a repipe would be needed. I got three bids, one for over $7k, another for around $5800 (included drywall repair) and the $4950 bid from National, which did not include the drywall repair. I am fairly handy so I decided I would do the drywall patching myself. In addition to the competitive bid, I was very impressed by Tony because he spent more time under the house and explained to me what needed to be done and options that I had. The work was done the following week and was done in one day as promised. They were prompt and the workers were conscientious. Tony was there virtually the whole time, which was great because a couple of unanticipated things came up and he was available to explain them to me. I was so impressed that I had Tony check out my sewer line that I suspected also had some problems. Again, he patiently explained everything from the sewer line video and went over the options. Two weeks later we went with the hydro jet service, and the follow-up video showed that it did a good job of removing most of the obstructions in our line. He also spent considerable time adjusting the water pressure in the house from the repipe we had done 2 weeks prior. We are very pleased with the results and the customer service we received.

He was wonderful. He was prompt, fair, and did a great job. He cleaned up well. We were very happy with the service and we will definitely use them again.

Tony from National Plumbing arrived on time and completed the installation of the earthquake shut off valve in a efficient and professional manner. The job was done quickly and with no mess. He didn't even mind my hovering around asking him questions while he completed the job. Tony even soldered a piece of copper pipe I had for my water heat blow off valve at no extra cost that he noticed while he was re-lighting my water heater. I would not hesitate to recommend Tony and his company for this type of installation.

Appointment was easy enough to book, but he couldn't work with the brands I own, so it was a miss.

They were reasonably priced, punctual and courteous. They did the work quickly and thoroughly. My tankless has been working flawlessly since then.

Technician came on time and poured CLR liquid into pipes of my tankless water heater. The solution had to stay there for about 20 min to dissolve any mineral deposits (we have hard water). In the meantime he proceeded to unplug shower drain that I have problems with for a long time. It was very slow draining and there were several inches of standing water left after each shower. He used cable to push the clogg further. Did not use a camera (as advertised) because the drain opening was too small. Overall, the service was good, but I feel it was overpriced for the work done. Next time I'll buy CLR liqid and flush my water heater myself and safe $89. I have the same thoughts about my shower drain. I own cable and can use it myself. I wanted to know what is causing the ongoing problem with that shower drain and was dissapointed that camera could not be used. To his credit, he gave me 90 days warranty. Drain is working ok, but I have noticed that drainage gets slower with time. Will use my own cable next time and save $69. The whole work took about 1/2 hour.

It was very easy to make an appointment. I called the office and they took my contact information so that the company can make the appointment based on what I asked. When I mentioned the Angie's List coupon for the tankless water heater cleaning I was told they can do the service that day. Tony, the owner of the company, came at the agreed time. He assessed the heater and told me the problem that I needed to buy parts to connect to the tubing and pump for the cleaning procedure. He gave me an estimate of the cost for the part. I agreed that it was reasonable, and he went to get the parts. He installed the needed parts and completed the cleaning without any problems. The price I listed included the Angie's List coupon with the needed extra parts. Tony is a very nice and easy-going professional who has a lot of patience in explaining what he was doing. I will hire him again for any future plumbing issues.

Problem diagnosed and repaired the same day.

Very well, took a few days. Whatever they dug up they covered it well. Fair price for an excellent job. Would recommend for large jobs like this was.

The project went very well. This is the third time we used National after finding him on Angie's List and we have always been satisfied. We discovered we had a leak and Tony came out immediately and showed us why the main water pipe had to be replaced, along with a water pressure valve. He immediately gave us an estimate and while we would usually get three estimates for a project this big we decided to go with National because of the prior good experience we had with Tony. He was able to start the work within two days and his workers were very professional. They dug a trench from the street to the house but were careful with the dirt and sod. The pipe was replaced with new copper piping and he also laid new sprinkler pvc for our gardener to connect new sprinkler heads to, since the trench was dug it seemed like a good time to replace the sprinkler pipe as well. Once the installation was complete, Tony made sure to check that everything was working properly. He discovered that there was a problem with water getting to our backyard, took the time to troubleshoot the problem, figured it out and repaired it. While he may not be the least expensive vendor he makes up for it in professionalism, attention to detail and responsiveness. Whenever we have a question he is there to answer it. We will continue to use him.

I called late in the afternoon on a Wednesday and the service person advised I would receive a call back the next day to set the appointment (non-emergency situation). But to my surprise, Tony Sarkisyan called later that same evening and we scheduled the appointment for Monday. On Friday afternoon, Tony called to say he had an opening in 1/2 hour and was that convenient? He came out within the 1/2 hour and when he showed up, he introduced himself, shook my hand and presented me with a business card. Before he entered my home he put covers on his shoes. When we went outside to look at the area of concern, he was careful to take the shortest path across my lawn and did so each time he had to return to the area. I found this to be very respectful of my property. He provided a fair price estimate and because I needed to consult with my husband, I told Tony I would call him later in the day to confirm. He was fine with that. His trip charge for that day was very reasonable and was absorbed in the price of the repair. When I called him later and left a message, he returned the call promptly and advised he had time on Saturday between 11-12. That worked out well so we agreed on Saturday instead of the original Monday appointment. He not only showed up on time, he was a few minutes early!! He did the repair within an hour, provided advice on other possible work on the house, left the work area neat and clean, showed my husband and me how the repair was done (better water flow and pressure), and guided us on how to clear the air from the lines (and what we should expect to hear and see). Tony was very professional, courteous, and more than fair on his price. After he left I immediately went over to my neighbor (who had had similar problems with his house) and gave him Tony's business card. I would recommend Tony and National Plumbing to all my neighbors and family. He was great.

They replaced the pipe from the house to the street in one day.

Overall the job was completed quickly and professionally.

Tony and his guys removed our old damaged 100 gallon water heater and worked with us to design a new tankless system that would work effectively with our existing 3 story home layout. They were very professional and neat and provided the services that they promised and then some. We have since had Tony back out to deal with some plumbing lines that got clogged due to root intrusion & also to fix a leaking gas line that needed immediate attention (Tony came out that same day to assist us). We would not hesitate to call Tony out for any and all plumbing issues that need attention.
