Repair person didn't solve the problem and eventually I was able to figure out a solution on my own. He tested the oven at 360 degrees at one point and it was working fine so I thought the problem was solved. I figured out later that the oven wasn't heating only at 350 degrees but was working normally at other temperatures so I just use the oven at other temps.

Responsive, On time, professional, great value

The dishwasher was repaired under warrantee by a KitchenAid repair service. That went fine, though the repair person failed to reanchor the dishwasher. I couldn't figure out how. So, I sent a request to Lerman Appliances by email at least 2 weeks ago. Haven't hear a peep. If he didn't want the job, he at least could have let us know. Note, Lerman didn't create the unanchored dishwasher problem. They just didn't respond to our request for service.

This review is long over due! We have worked with Lerman Appliances for years. Over the last couple years, they repaired our dishwasher, washing machine and refrigerator. They are the first company we call when we have any appliance repair issues because of their great service and honesty. Once we thought we had a problem with the washing machine, but when I called Leman to schedule service, they walked me through a couple things to do and the problem was corrected. Most recently, we had a problem with the refrigerator leaking water. Lerman came out right away and found one problem and corrected it. A few days later, the water leak was back. It turned out there were two issues causing the water leak. When we called Lerman about the continuing problem, the owner, Ilya, came out personally and found a hair line crack in a water pump going to the ice maker. He ordered the part needed and returned to install it himself when the part arrived. Ilya was such a pleasure to work with and did not charge us labor for the return visits! How AMAZING is it to find a great company that stands behind their work these days! Thank you Lerman Appliances for all the times you've helped us and provided great service! Very well. The problem was solved .

Fast and effective repair of my oven, which a different repair place said nothing was wrong with, despite the fact that it took 45 minutes to pre-heat! Lerman sized up the problem, got the part and fixed it quickly.

Very fast. He was able to open the oven doors once the power was turned back on and then checked everything else to make sure it worked. Also advised me to never use the CLEAN function! Very helpful.

Same day, prompt service. Not the cheapest out there, but reliable, friendly and professional.

The good news is that they were able to come out the same day to fix my dishwasher which was not draining fully. They said it would be $60 for the service fee which would be refunded if work was done. I told him it was most likely that the drain hose was clogged. He looked at it and said "the drain hose was clogged". He then said it would be $175 to clear it. As this is a simple job and should have cost no more than $75 (I'm being generous here for a 10 minute job) I was shocked. I was then left with the choice of paying $60 and then calling in another plumber or just letting him do the work. I opted for the later, but am sorry I did. Did they fix it? yes Will I use them again? not on your life

I feel like a Mike Diamond commerical. The repair showed on time - he called when he was 15 minutes from my house so I arrived from the office at the same time as he did. Then he told him what the problem might be - clogged drain - if it was tree roots there was nothing he could do but it was dumb me washing bathroom rugs so in less than half hour the drain in the washer was cleaned - he was done and he was heading home and I was going back to work. He was professional and let me know what it would cost and what he could do. I would highly recommend these folks.

Technician arrived turned the burners on, smelled gas, turned burners off and stated that we needed to call the gas company out to inspect the stove prior to his commencing with work order. As stated by the technician anytime the smell of gas is invloved the gas company has to check unit first. I was bothered that this was not stated when I initially called Lerman. I then, thru Angies list, reached out to two other companies. When I told them the problem, both immediately stated that the gas company needed to be called out prior to their coming and doing any work. The gas company stated the same. So Lerman has collected $60.00 for showing up, all the while knowing that protocal in a situation such as this requires the gas companies inspection. Will never use them again.

Gas igniters on Frigidaire stove top were not functioning properly. Lerman Appliances coordinated a time with our renters to assess the issue and estimate the repair. They did the same to complete the repair. All done in a punctual, timely and professional manner.

Excellent. Andy from Lerman moved the stackable units out from the wall reattached the hose. Returned the units back into closet Dried the floors put all the wet and dirty towels used into the washing machine before he left to make sure it had been repaired correctly. He did a thorough diagnostic, repair and clean up of the area Andy Arrived on time, was professional had a great attitude

I called on Wednesday and set up an appointment for Friday. Andrey arrived within the service window. Was able to fix the water line in 30 minutes. I always like dealing with Lerman. They're pleasant, professional, trustworthy and know what they're doing.

Work performed in very timely manner. Very professional and was given tips on how to preserve new parts. Parts were provided by myself so cost of service was only labor minus coupon. Have a Samsung Front loader from 2011.

We highly recommend Lerman Appliances! The office staff is friendly and professional. Vitaliy stepped in to help resolve issues when the repair become more complicated than expected. The issue was finally resolved and we will definitely continue to use Lerman Appliance Repair for our future needs. I was concerned that my washer door was damaged by a move. Andre from Lerman Appliances came to do the service inspection. He checked more than the seals on the door - he checked all the electronics and the drain too. Very complete. Thanks Andre. He was prompt; he was efficient; he was thorough and extremely personable. He gave us some valuable suggestions to keep water off our new floors.

Mike arrived during the agreed-upon time frame, always a plus. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to share info about our malfunctioning 18-year-old GE gas range. He diagnosed the problem quickly and gave us a range of options, including the estimated cost of repair, which seemed reasonable. He replaced our igniter, at which time he could tell that we did not need an additional repair that can sometimes be caused by a bad igniter, so he gets big points for honesty as well. We called Lerman years ago and were pleased with their service then. I'm happy to report that they have maintained their excellent staff and service record. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

They never gave up! We had an odd ice overflow issue and it took a great deal of investigation and effort to resolve.

Best appliance repair shop ever. They have completed paid work for us for several years and I wouldn't go to anyone else! Highest recommendations! (Just wish I'd seen the Angie's coupon before yesterday!)

Perfect..The rep came out, diagnosed the problem correctly, quoted the price and then ordered the part--he returned on time and fixed it 100%. The reason we use Lerman is that they know their business...no guessing as to the cause of the problem...we have Sub-Zero frige and Wolf range--over 5 years old so no warranty---Lerman is so so much better and responsive that the SZ & W recommended service center--not even close-- Simply the best appliance repair place in town----

The repairmen were nice and professional, but I believe they misdiagnosed the problem. They ordered a $550 part only to find that problem persisted after it was installed. They then returned and installed another part which cost $120, though they didn't charge me labor for the second visit. Still, I don't feel I got my money's worth.
