Description of Work: Checked out dishwasher which was not cleaning correctly. Did some realignment of installation, and recommended cleaning. Did not completely solve the problem, but it is better. The dishwasher is 2 years old and after reading the on line reviews, it is clear that this is a manufacturer problem, and is very common with this type of machine. Lerman did the best that could be done.

Description of Work: Viking top refrigerator/bottom freezer. Build in. |he analyzed the problem step by step made his conclusion that the pipes from the freezer to the refrigerator must have been frozen and instead of making it a big deal of breaking it out of the wall he suggested just to thaw for 24 hours and than switch it on. He cleaned the coils as good as he could and he was right. 24 hours later the fridge worked better than before. He explained where the on and off switches were and what the fridge /freezer needed to function right, maintenance etc. He charged only drive up cost. | | | |

Description of Work: My refrigerator was leaking very cold water from the Freezer into the main section. The technician pulled the pieces apart, diagnosed and recommended certain action. He essentially defrosted, but from the hidden areas behind the panels. He also adjusted the balance of the whole refrigerator. He was very focused, took care of the problem in less than 30 minutes and out the door. It has held up perfectly in the 4 weeks since his appearance.

Description of Work: Dryer wasn't working. Terrible noise coming from it. Something had dropped down where the filter goes. Couldn't reach all the way down, had to be taken apart. | |The workman took it apart, found the item that was causing the problem, cleaned out the exhaust pipe and it is working like new. Was very courteous and prompt.

Description of Work: I did not use them for my repair, but they were helpful in advising me how to fix it myself. It really didn't need a technician. However, it took a while to get through the receptionist to talk to someone with the knowledge to assess what I needed. They also didn't want to tell me the cost of what the repair might be in the event that I needed a service call. When I finally got to speak with the service manager, he was able to answer my questions. If they want my business and recommendation in the future, they might be more willing to answer customers' reasonable questions on the phone. No one wants to pay for a $100+ service call without understanding beforehand what might be needed and what it might cost.

Description of Work: Repairs included: removing debris preventing proper ignition, replacing both oven ignitors, confirming proper functioning of the oven. Vitaliy from Lerman is an exceptionally nice man and business owner. He not only repaired our appliance but educated us on how to maintain on our own and also recommended what to consider regarding repairs on future appliances. Polite, knowledgable and efficient. I will always contact him first when in need of appliance repairs.

Description of Work: He cleaned the coils of my mom's refrig. To see if that would help, but said it would not be worth doing expensive repairs on an old appliance. They worked within my tight schedule.

Description of Work: By the time Lerman arrived, I realized what was wrong with my dishwasher & offered to pay since the representative (possibly the owner?) drove to our house. He would not accept payment. He definitely knows what he's doing, wanted detailed info re. machine before he arrived, etc. |I will not call any other repair service anytime Lerman is available. |Note- I'm not certain of date.

Description of Work: Our refrigerator had stopped working so initially Ilya replaced the computer board. When that didn't seem to fix the problem, I called back the next day and Vitally came out. He diagnosed the issue immediately and replaced the motor - at no cost! Not only were both men professional, punctual and delightful but I was impressed that they stood behind their work. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Three separate visits to repair my washing machine. First trip to diagnose the problem. Ordered a new part, new part was installed, new part didn't work. Ordered the same part again, new part didn't work. Discovered that the part was the problem, the problem was a completely separate issue. Paid a lot of money for labor and a little for the part.

Description of Work: My oven stopped working and my stove pilots were not automatically igniting. They repaired my oven by replacing a part the same day :) They needed to come back for the stove top (which they did) but they only light intermittently on their own and it cost $125.00:(
