Description of Work: The repairman came as expected and checked the freezer. He determined that there wasn't a problem with the freezer itself, that something must have leaked (food item). He suggested we clean up the sticky stuff and see if there were any other problems. We did this and everything seems fine. We were charged a service call, but since no repair was done, could not use the voucher.

Description of Work: Mike from Lerman Appliance came to check on my 15 year old Whirlpool washing machine which was making a loud thumping/grinding noise when the machine was spinning/agitating. He diagnosed the problem as a bad transmission. Since the cost of a new transmission would likely be close to a new washing machine, I decided not to proceed with any repair.

Description of Work: The son of the owner came to fix the "through the door dispensing unit" of my refrigerator which was not working. He systematically troubleshot each of the possible problems and detrmined that the main circuit board in the refrigerator was at fault. He discussed the price with me and I agreed to repairs. He had the part on his truck and when he had the circuit board out I was able to clearly see the burned component on the circuit board which was causing the problem. He replaced the board and everything worked fine. I would use this company in a minute for any appliance problem.

Description of Work: Replaced a leaking seal on my dishwasher. Vitaley, the owner of company did the repair which went perfect. He showed up on time and had the fix completed in about 15 minutes. I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: This was my 2nd time using Lerman's. Honestly, I have no idea on the dates of the repair but FINALLY after many attempts with other companies, including Sears where I purchased it, my refrigerator is FIXED!!! The gentleman who came was punctual, listened to me as I described the problem & thoroughly explained exactly what needed to be done. I told him this was my 2nd time using his company & I originally got their name from Angie's list. The last time they fixed my Dryer. The only thing I 4-got was to use my coupon so I did not get the discount! It's not his fault but maybe Angie's List can come up with a better way for the coupon to be automatically used without the actual piece of paper?

Description of Work: They replaced the laundry dryer belt. Mike was sent and I was pleased with his work. He was patient, had a good attitude, cleaned out accumulated dust & lint in the dryer voluntarily, and didn't try to sell/replace other parts. Be sure to buy the $35 coupon because the original quote was $155 ($120 labor & $35 parts & tax) and the $35 coupon netted the cost to $120 which was competitive with a $110 phone quote I had received from another company before calling Lerman (the guy with the $110 quote was too busy to come out).
