Description of Work: The repairman (Ilya) was quick to diagnose the problem with our builtin microwave oven and arrange for repairs. It took a few days to get the repair completed because one of parts necessary had to be ordered from out of state. Once the part was received the repairman was able to come in a timely manner and make the repair. To replace the part the entire microwave had to be removed from its builtin location. It was accomplished in a professional manner. Very pleased with the service.

Description of Work: My LG washing was not working. Made and appointment with Val late Monday afternoon and he told me that a service tech would be there Tuesday morning between 8 and 11 am. Got a call around 8:30 from the service tech saying he would be there in one half hour. Got a coupon from Angies List for service of $50 for only $25. Tech came and fixed the machine and the coupon was all it cost. Professional, on time and great cost.

Description of Work: My dishwasher was leaking in the middle of a cycle. The repairman said I would need a new gasket. He ordered one and came back about 10 days later.Since he installed the gasket, no further problems.

Description of Work: My background is automotive repair both as a mechanic and service director. I have a gas Viking range that has never worked properly since new. The oven does not light. The oven cycles through two attempts to light and then shuts down for safety reasons (gas buildup). The warranty tech that came out could not fix it. I figured out how to trick it into lighting by opening the oven door while it was cycling. There is something wrong with the gas-air mixture and the ignition in the oven. I didn't have time to continue chasing the problem during the warranty period. | |I saw Lerman's coupon on Angie's list and decided to give them a try. They came out and (surprisingly quickly, I thought) diagnosed the need for a couple of very expensive parts. They later returned and installed the parts. The next day the range malfunctioned exactly as before, so I called them back. The owner's son came out this time and told me that the oven lit perfectly for him and that he could see nothing wrong. Since that time the malfunction continues as before. I regret purchasing this overrated appliance, but regret even more taking advantage of a "coupon" that relieved me of seven hundred dollars with no difference. Their diagnosis was faulty and made hastily, in my opinion. The son told me that if I could figure out how to be sure that it would not light (in other words, do their diagnostic job), they would come out again in spite of the long drive.

Description of Work: Our frig was not cooling properly. I read about Lerman Applicances on Angie's List and set up an appointment. Mr. Lerman came out in a matter of hours that same day. He was very nice and professional -- zeroing in on the problem right away and remedying it within an hour. We were pleased with him and the great service. Plan to have him return to replace our ice maker which stopped working years ago. Thank you Angie's List for this great referral. We highly recommend Lerman Appliances to others.

Description of Work: Found problem with my dryer on button was a faulty connection. Need to replace entire panel. I will get GE to replace Nd Ler,an will install when I have the part. Technician was very knowleable and gave me credit for my "deal" so no charge for service call.

Description of Work: Stove was not heating up. Called Lerman Appliance Repair in the morning and they said they would be here between 2 - 5 PM. At 12:45 PM Ilia called and said he could be here in 20 minutes, if that was ok. My wife said good. Ilia got here at 12:55 PM. He was clean, professional and courteous. Ilia diagnosed the problem by 1:05 PM. He went out to the truck and got new part, installed it and left by 1:25 PM. He explained why it wasn't working and what he did to fix it. He tested it and the oven lit and got hot. We were very satisfied. We would certainly call Ilia at Lerman Repair first for any other appliance repair.

Description of Work: I called 9am 7/13/15, talk with Paulina, she's trying to schedule, promised to call back. No call back for >30 minute. Called back, busy, leave msg, no return call. Call their toll free number talk with Vanessa, she told me closest available next Thursday 7/16/15 that's ridiculous. I scheduled diagnostic with other Angie's list Spencer, scheduled today.
