Description of Work: Lerman Appliances were fantastic to work with. I purchased a deal and they came out, assessed my problem with my refrigerator (ice would not dispense). They found that I needed to order new parts, and they were able to do so for me at a great price and return the following week to install the pieces. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Lerman replaced a water shutoff valve on our Maytag washer. It required two people to pull the stacked washer/dryer out of the (small) laundry closet then remove the dryer (on top), so they could open up the top of the washer cabinet. Lerman did a good job in all regards; we will definitely use them again for appliance repair. | |Message to Maytag: can't you design washers for easier service? That's only one of several reasons we are NOT happy with this washing machine. (This has no bearing on Lerman - they were fine.)

Overall fine.
Description of Work: Charged a lot to fix a bad switch (the one that turns the lights on when the door is opened) in my sub zero refrigerator and to clean the condenser, but service was done and the service provider was professional.

Description of Work: Contacted company re problem with soap dispenser of washing machine. Technician came , diagnosed problem as mechanical , gave $189 estimate to solve the problem but said he has to charge another $100 for extra manpower to remove the stacked dryer sitting on top of washing machine. Tech was polite and professional and said to call him should we decide to proceed with the service . We decided to enlist the assistance of a close acquaintance who is handy with machines and eventually solve the problem.

Response from Lerman Appliances
There was absolutely no rudeness on the phone towards this member. She was upset because she purchased our coupon before realizing we do not service her area. The dispatcher politely informed her she was outside of our coverage area and she could call Angie's list to get a refund of the coupon purchase price. The office manager was witness to the entire conversation and finds this claim to be absurd.
