Description of Work: I called Lerman Appliances to ask about fixing my stove. While my house is unfortunately outside of their service area, Val spoke with me on the phone and gave me some advice about finding a good vendor and what price I should expect to pay. He also listened to the two problems I was having with my stove and brainstormed what the possible fixes would be. Very nice guy and it reflects very well on the company. Too bad I'm outside their service area!

Description of Work: wow, what a pleasant surprise this was, my freezer went out and I called lerman, they scheduled for the next day, I got a call later the same day saying there had been a cancellation would I like them to come today, excuse me? of course I would. David showed up promptly, was incredibly polite, very informative told me what was wrong, and said that he could come back tomorrow and fix it, after much looking at my schedule for the next day he offered to fix it right then on the spot. I cannot tell you how appreciative I am at the service I received from this company. A great experience in this world of sullen service. I cannot say enough about David and Lerman.

Description of Work: Service man came to my home 3 times in an attempt to repair my range top. He was unable to repair the unit do to the expense of the parts, but he was 100% honest and refunded all my money . I would consider this to be an exceptionally honest and reliable company and will use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Had a great experience with Lerman Appliances and they fixed my refrigerator which had been "fixed" twice before by other companies. Very happy to find them.

Description of Work: Serviced built in refrigerator, checked washer & dryer for annual maintenance and replaced circuit board for Bosch Dishwasher. Very happy with the service. They were kind, prompt, knowledgeable and even came out on Saturday to complete the job. I would highly recommend Lerman Appliances. I finally found a reliable company to take care of all of our appliance needs...:)

Description of Work: The service man, Ilya, took the sub zero apart and cleaned out a drain in the back of the unit that had become clogged. He charged me $130 for that, which also covered the cost of the service call. He then worked on my Viking range and replaced both the igniters, which were bad. The stove wouldn't heat properly. While he was doing the work, he explained everything to me in language I could understand and helped me learn more about fixing my appliances. He was on time, courteous and cleaned up everything before he left. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: My washing machine was leaking from the bottom. The service man turned it upside down, discovered I needed a new part, had it in his truck and fixed it. He even cleaned up the dirty floor beneath the machine.

Description of Work: My Whirlpool duet steam washer, of 3 yrs, quit working and was flashing the F35 code. I called at 3:30pm on a Friday and they showed up at 11:00am the next day, on a Saturday. I needed a new $125 part, which I knew I would, and $80 labor. I felt this was a very fair price. He was very nice and the whole thing was no muss, no fuss. I'll call them again and refer them.

Description of Work: The owner/technician was prompt, professional and direct in his analysis of the problem. He had to order some parts but called and said they came in and could do the repair of the defrost system the next day. He was really proactive about giving us a credit for using Angies List and I felt very comfortable about using him and will in the future.

Description of Work: The owner of the company came out to service our LG washer which was not draining properly. He was prompt, in fact 20 minutes earlier than the 2-4 pm window specified...which was fine by me. He was extremely gracious, not minding that I stayed and watched the repair so I could try to do it myself next time. He was very systematic and spent about an hour diagnosing and fixing the problem. It turned out that the drain hose was clogged....but its not possible to disconnect the hose without taking the front panels off the washer - quite a chore (poor engineering on your part LG!).
