The plumber who repaired the pipe referred John to me, since this seems to be a specialty of his. He did that original job as described solo, then returned at a later date with a crew to help do the sanding, prep and painting of the service porch, small bath and repairs in other parts of the house. The patching required wallboard and painting and all that goes with that. Despite being behind appliances, the wall is pristine. For the painting, he sealed off the rest of the house, to protect from dust, cleaned up each of the two days he was here and in the 40-plus years we have lived here, he is by far, the best painter we have used. He and his crew work quietly and efficiently. John does a pre-job check, making sure the paint and other materials are ok with all parties. If problems arose, I never knew - he solves them.
Description of Work: First, he patched up a wall in the service porch that had been soaked from the inside due to a broken pipe (dried out by restoration services) making it look like new in a house that is more than 75 years old. Then, as the original wall covering on the rest of the non damaged wall began peeling from the severe damp and dry, he & his crew sanded the walls down to the plaster, painted and repaired some cracks where the house settled, again making them look as if they had never been damaged. He also painted a small bathroom. He is an artiste

After discovering an inside-the-wall leak after a month or so, the wall in the service porch needed to be torn out, replaced and painted. Once the restoration service dried it all out and zapped the mold, I had John patch the wall (green board) and paint it. He was quick, quiet, professional and cleaned up, replaced the washer and dryer, even adding a bit of security to the dryer vent hose. John also helped replace furniture a rug cleaner moved.
Description of Work: Patched & painted wall damaged by leaking vertical pipe.
